Judaism at least does not seek world domination. Also, the analogy breaks down when we consider that version increments generally indicate an improvement or advance of some sort. Christianity and Islam are called Abrahamic solely because these religions themselves claim to be Abrahamic, a claim that is, by the way, unsupported by any authority save their own assertions. The historical Abraham himself was instrumental in creating only one specific religious tradition, i.e. Judaism. Therefore the only religions that can rightfully call themselves Abrahamic are the ones that, at the same time, consider themselves Jewish. However, both Christianity and Islam reject Judaism and, by extension, reject Abraham since, in their view, being a practicing Jew is no longer sufficient to qualify for “god’s” grace. This has the logical effect of damning Abraham himself or putting him at odds with Judaism and Jews. Christian theologians, for example, have been at great pains to explain how the Jewish prophets, including Abraham, would be brought out of hell by Jesus Christ, not having had the benefit of accepting him as lord and savior during their own life-times.

 

Far from being Abrahamic, both Islam and Christianity have been busy demonizing and brutalizing Jews since their inception. Their Antisemitism, by itself, should give pause to anyone considering their claim of being Abrahamic. My point is one cannot rightly claim to be Abrahamic while at the same time rejecting Abraham’s religion and engaging in wholesale persecution of his followers/descendants.

 

From an Indian point of view also this joint classification distorts the picture quite a bit. The arrival of Jews to India parallels the arrival of the Parsis and is very different from the aggressive interventions of Islam and Christianity. This I don’t think is just a coincidence. Parsis too are monotheistic and, like followers of many other religions including Judaism, believe themselves to be the chosen recipients of divine revelation through their prophet, in their case Zarathustra. But beyond that there is no drive to eradicate or dominate other religions. Also each of these “monotheistic” religions has a different idea of monotheism and rejects outright that of all others e.g. Islam rejects the core Christian doctrine of the trinity. While the claim is made that the same god is doing the talking through all the different monotheistic scriptures it is more than evident that each of these “One True God’s” has a distinct personality of his own, basically mirroring the individual nature, prakriti, of the human being / medium claiming to speak on his behalf. Lastly the monopolist Christian and Muhammadan gods both seek to supplant the Abrahamic god as the one true god as much as they seek to eradicate each other and all other gods.

 

We might therefore want to move past or at least de-emphasize these conventional notions that club all three religions together under one “Abrahamic” rubric. Although Jews may themselves justifiably derive some satisfaction from the fact that these other religions seek to legitimize themselves by claiming Abraham’s legacy, many are also able to detect the proverbial devil in the details, that this claim too is, in the final analysis, exclusive and is made at the expense of Judaism and the Jews, ultimately appropriating both god and founding father as rightfully theirs since the followers of these other religions alone are the rightful heirs.

 

They say, ‘Accept the Jewish or the Christian faith and you shall be rightly guided.’ Say, ‘By no means! We believe in the faith of Abraham, the upright one. He was no idolater.'” (Surah 2:135)

 

What sets apart Islam and Christianity from the rest is not that they are Abrahamic or Monotheistic, but that they are monopolistic religions. Other Monotheistic faiths like Zoroastrianism and Abrahamic Judaism have borne the full fury of their aggressiveness along with other religions of the world.

In the same month in which their Majesties [Ferdinand and Isabella] issued the edict that all Jews should be driven out of the kingdom and its territories, in the same month they gave me the order to undertake with sufficient men my expedition of discovery to the Indies.” So begins Christopher Columbus’s diary. The expulsion that Columbus refers to was so cataclysmic an event that ever since; the date 1492 has been almost as important in Jewish history as in American history. On July 30 of that year, the entire Jewish community, some 200,000 people, were expelled from Spain.

Tens of thousands of refugees died while trying to reach safety. In some instances, Spanish ship captains charged Jewish passengers exorbitant sums, then dumped them overboard in the middle of the ocean. In the last days before the expulsion, rumors spread throughout Spain that the fleeing refugees had swallowed gold and diamonds, and many Jews were knifed to death by brigands hoping to find treasures in their stomachs.

The Jews’ expulsion had been the pet project of the Spanish Inquisition, headed by Father Tomas de Torquemada. Torquemada believed that as long as the Jews remained in Spain, they would influence the tens of thousands of recent Jewish converts to Christianity to continue practicing Judaism. Ferdinand and Isabella rejected Torquemada’s demand that the Jews be expelled until January 1492, when the Spanish Army defeated Muslim forces in Granada, thereby restoring the whole of Spain to Christian rule. With their most important project, the country’s unification, accomplished, the king and queen concluded that the Jews were expendable. On March 30, they issued the expulsion decree, the order to take effect in precisely four months. The short time span was a great boon to the rest of Spain, as the Jews were forced to liquidate their homes and businesses at absurdly low prices. Throughout those frantic months, Dominican priests actively encouraged Jews to convert to Christianity and thereby gain salvation both in this world and the next.

The most fortunate of the expelled Jews succeeded in escaping to Turkey. Sultan Bajazet welcomed them warmly. “How can you call Ferdinand of Aragon a wise king,” he was fond of asking, “the same Ferdinand who impoverished his own land and enriched ours?” Among the most unfortunate refugees were those who fled to neighboring Portugal. In 1496, King Manuel of Portugal concluded an agreement to marry Isabella, the daughter of Spain’s monarchs. As a condition of the marriage, the Spanish royal family insisted that Portugal expel her Jews. King Manuel agreed, although he was reluctant to lose his affluent and accomplished Jewish community.

In the end, only eight Portuguese Jews were actually expelled; tens of thousands of others were forcibly converted to Christianity on pain of death. The chief rabbi, Simon Maimi, was one of those who refused to convert. He was kept buried in earth up to his neck for seven days until he died. In the final analysis, all of these events took place because of the relentless will of one man, Tomas de Torquemada.

The Spanish Jews who ended up in Turkey, North Africa, Italy and elsewhere throughout Europe and the Arab world, were known as Sephardim — Sefarad being the Hebrew name for Spain. After the expulsion, the Sephardim imposed an informal ban forbidding Jews from ever again living in Spain. Specifically because their earlier sojourn in that country had been so happy, the Jews regarded the expulsion as a terrible betrayal, and have remembered it ever since with particular bitterness. Of the dozens of expulsions directed against Jews throughout their history, the one from Spain remains the most infamous.

Alarming Situation for Hindu Dharma and Culture

During last twenty two years of militancy in J&K state especially in Kashmir valley which is now populated by Muslims only. The fundamentalist Molvi’s from UP and other places visit Kashmir to spread “Wahbi“ Islam there. The Muslims in Kashmir were generally followers of “Sufism” (a soft and secular Islam) and would make frequent visits to Dharghas of Sufi saints to offer prayers.

 

These radical preachers (molvis) give sermons to the people in the mosques during the Friday prayers to make them hard believers in wahbi Islam and its aim and objectives. They say…

 

1) For every true Muslim there is directive (fatwa) to spread Islam throughout the world by destroying the other religions and their culture by whatever means available to them.

 

2) In India (pre partition) the target was Hindu’s (which includes Sikhs, Jain’s and Buddhists) and their Dharma and Culture. Muslim fighters came to India first to take away as much wealth as possible and then finally established the Islamic rule.

 

3) We Muslims then started the mass conversion of Hindus into Islam with the help of Muslim rulers through different methods. About 40 % of the Hindu’s in India (pre partition) were converted into Islamic faith till the takeover by the Colonial Power. In this process we destroyed a number of their places of learning and cultural centers.

 

4) After the exit of colonial power we resumed the process of conversion into Islamic faith. Since we doubted the support the new ruling classes in this mission, so we had to change the strategy.

 

5) We started asking for a separate home land for Muslims and managed to take away about one third of the pre partition India. We made sure that important cultural centers and places of learning of Hindus, especially in Sindh are included in it we called this land as Pakistan (pious land) To make Hindus happy we called the rest as Hindustan. During the partition of India we ensured that Pakistan remains free from Hindus and keep as many Muslims in Hindustan as possible.

 

6) Immediately after partition we took up the job of destroying the Hindu culture centers and important places of learning in Pakistan. This was followed by the conversion of left over Hindus into Islam. We succeeded in this mission and today there are only the few Hindus there.

 

7) In Hindustan we first saw that the Hindustan was called by pre partition name i.e. India which is secular and the Muslim population started expanding very fast and demanding equal rights. In this case we are thankful to the ruling class and especially principal ruling family. Some say that this family has Mughal (Muslim) roots and not Hindus. Hindu society is a victim of cast system which was first exploited by colonial power to establish their rule and now it is exploited by the political parties in their struggle for power.

 

8) In present India there are some important pilgrimage centers viz Ayodha , Mathura, Haridwar etc. We have succeeded in blocking their development and construction of temples especially at Ayodhya to ensure that Hindus do not have any major central points where there could be their large gathering.

 

9) There are now no Hindus by name in India; it is SC, ST, OBC etc. with their own leaders. The attempt is also being made to see Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists declared as non Hindu’s. While as the Muslims under the banner of Islam is a single group.

 

10) Thus among all these groups Muslims in India are now in majority and you will soon see that the Indian Tricolor is replaced by green Islamic flags and entire India will become an Islamic state.

 

The moment the people of Kashmir hear this, there is a thunderous applause in every mosque. They are encouraged to continue their Islamic movement.

 

What these radical preachers (molvies) say is a historical fact besides the current political situation in India. Every political party appeases Muslims in one form or the other to get their vote which is under the command of these Molvies.

 

It is really an alarming situation for Hindu Dharma and culture which is oldest and richest in the world. There is still time to save the situation and work together against the expanding radical Islam; otherwise it will be too late.

 

Hindus are in deep slumber and ignorant about this expansion of radical Islam and God forbid if attacked through terror they shall not find any shelter.

Sikhs Vs Pathans – Winning in Afghanistan

The western media says no country has ever conquered Afghanistan, but the fact they conveniently forget is that not too long ago the Indians conquered and ruled Afghanistan, an episode of history that is carved into the recesses of the Afghan mind. The Story Begins:

If there’s one thing that the western media keeps parroting, it is the fairy tale that no power – from Alexander 2300 years ago to Britain in the 19th century or Russia 30 years ago – was able to conquer Afghanistan.

It reeks of ignorance, and reporters in western countries have exhibited a lot of that. Remember, this is the same bunch that swallowed the lie that al-Qaeda was getting help from Iraq, when in reality Iraq under Saddam Hussein was the most secular country in West Asia.

But how could experienced and Pulitzer Prize winning writers ignore facts? Don’t they have armies of researchers at their beck and call? Newspapers like the New York Times and The Guardian have excellent research departments that can dig out the region’s history. But they haven’t, which makes you wonder if they are whitewashing the facts – excuse the pun!

 

The fact is that just 180 years ago Maharajah Ranjit Singh (1799-1839), the Sikh ruler of Punjab, and his brilliant commander Hari Singh Nalwa, defeated the Afghans and the tribes of the Khyber Pass area. Had it not been for Ranjit Singh, Peshawar and the north-west frontier province of India (handed over to Pakistan in 1947 when India was divided) would have been part of Afghanistan today.

 

Imagine an even bigger operating field for the Taliban and al-Qaeda. But first a flashback to the past. Afghanistan had always been a part of India; it was called Gandhar, from which the modern Kandahar originates. It was a vibrant ancient Indian province that gave the world excellent art, architecture, literature and scientific knowledge. After Alexander’s ill-fated invasion in the 4th century BC, it became even more eclectic – a melting pot of Indian and Greek cultures, a world far removed from today’s Taliban infested badlands.

It was an Indian province until 1735 when Nadir Shah of Iran emboldened by the weakness of India’s latter Mughals ransacked Delhi. Hundreds of thousands of Hindus and Muslims were slaughtered in cold blood by the Persians. This was a highly opportunistic and reckless act because for the past 25 centuries India and Iran had respected each other’s borders, and though always a bit nervous of each other, the two empires never tried to subvert each other. But because of his greed Nadir Shah changed the equation. He annexed Afghanistan and asked the Indians to forget about ever getting it back.

However, Ranjit Singh was not prepared to play according to the Persian script. Nadir Shah’s successor Ahmad Shah Abdali had been launching repeated raids into Punjab and Delhi. To check this Ranjit Singh decided to build a modern and powerful army with the employment of Frenchmen, Italians, Greeks, Russians, Germans and Austrians. In fact, two of the foreign officers who entered the maharaja’s service, Ventura and Allard, had served under Napoleon. Says historian Shiv Kumar Gupta: “All these officers were basically engaged by Ranjit Singh for modernization of his troops. He never put them in supreme command.”

After conquering Multan in 1818 and Kashmir in 1819, Ranjit Singh led his legions across the Indus and took Dera Ghazi Khan in 1820 and Dera Ismail Khan in 1821. Alarmed, the Afghans called for a jehad under the leadership of Azim Khan Burkazi, the ruler of Kabul. A big Afghan army collected on the bank of the Kabul River at Naushehra, but Ranjit Singh won a decisive victory and the Afghans were dispersed in 1823. Peshawar was subdued in 1834.

The Afghan and Pathans had always considered themselves superior to the Indians. They especially looked down upon Indian Muslims and contemptuously referred to them as Hindko. The fact that the Indians were superior in all respects – wealth, culture, literature, art – mattered little to them, as physical stature and lightness of skin was the only basis for this peacock-like strutting. Says historian Kirpal Singh, “The pride of the Afghans and Pathans was pricked for the first time as they had been defeated by the Sikhs whom they considered infidels. Undoubtedly, they were agitated and used to say Khalsa Hum Khuda Shuda (Khalsa too has become believer of God).”

So how did Ranjit Singh manage to conquer such fierce mountain people? Mainly by using a blend of sustained aggression latter soothed by Indian magnanimity. Of course, his biggest weapon was the scourge of the Afghans – Hari Singh, who in one battle defeated 20,000 Hazaras, the same people who are today tormenting American and European forces.

To defeat the cunning and fierce Hazaras on their treacherous home turf was no mean feat but to do that with only 7000 men was the stuff of legend. Indeed, Hari Singh had become a legend. He realised that to dominate the warlike tribes, the Sikhs had to give them the same treatment the Afghans had given the Indians in the past. Says Kirpal Singh, “Hari Singh set up a very strong administration in the Peshawar valley. He levied a cess of Rs 4 per house on the Yusafzais. This cess was to be collected in cash or in kind. For its realization, personal household property could be appropriated. There was scarcely a village which was not burnt. In such awe were his visitations held that Nalwa’s name was used by Afghan mothers as a term of fright to hush their unruly children.”

Though the spell of Afghan supremacy was broken, the region predominantly populated by turbulent and warlike Muslim tribes could not be securely held unless a large army was permanently stationed there. A force of 12,000 men was posted with Hari Singh to quell any sign of turbulence and to realize the revenue. “The terror of the name of the Khalsa resounded in the valley,” says Kirpal Singh. “Part of the city of Peshawar was burnt and the residence of the governor was razed to the ground.”

Ranjit Singh ensured that the Afghans never again became a threat to India. These are the same people who massacred three British armies, and against whom the Americans and Pakistanis are now totally struggling. The wild tribes of Swat and Khyber were also tamed.

There are three reasons why Ranjit Singh won a decisive victory in Afghanistan and the northwest whereas the Western invasion is foundering.

Firstly, fierce tactics were followed by a period of liberal and secular rule. In fact, secularism was the defining character of Ranjit Singh’s rule. There was no state religion, and religious tolerance was an article of his faith. He refused to treat Muslims like second class citizens. Compare this with the strafing of wedding parties by US and European troops or the instance of Czech troops wearing Nazi uniforms.
When his victorious army passed through the streets of Peshawar, the Maharajah issued strict instructions to his commanders to observe restraint in keeping with the Sikh tradition, not to damage any mosque, not to insult any woman and not to destroy any crops.

Two, like the NATO forces in Afghanistan today, Ranjit Singh’s army was a coalition too. The Indian king’s forces were made up of Sikhs and Hindus, while the artillery almost fully comprised Muslims. Over half a dozen European nations are assisting US troops just as European specialists worked for Ranjit Singh. Also, perhaps for the first time in Indian history the Mazhabis, or ‘untouchables’, become a regular component of the army. (While betrayals, disunity and overconfidence had been the bane of Indian kingdoms throughout history, another key weakness was that only the warrior castes would do the fighting, which ruled out 80 per cent of others from fighting for their king. Even when in dire situations where tribes such as the Bhils were engaged to fight invaders, they were mostly given side roles.)

However, Ranjit’s Singh’s forces worked with one united purpose and that was to secure the empire. Today, the US is reluctant to do all the fighting, while the British forces are simply not up to the task of taking on the fierce Afghans, rely instead on bribes to keep away the Taliban fighters. Which Afghan will show respect such an opponent? The British, Ukrainians, Poles, Australians, Czechs, and a gaggle of over 40 nationalities are in Afghanistan only to curry favor with America and wrap up their respective free trade agreements. Nobody, it seems, has the nerve to take on the Afghans, except from 30,000 ft in the air.

Around 30 years ago, the Russian general Nikolai Ogarkov advised Leonid Brezhnev’s cabinet not to invade Afghanistan, saying that the country was unconquerable; today NATO generals are asking Barack Obama to get out of the place or else the Americans will have to leave in the same state as they left Vietnam – in their underpants. But 180 years ago the Indians showed how a mixture of ferocity, velour and empathy could tame Afghanistan. And that’s the third reason: at the end of the day, the Indians just did a much better job of fighting.

He has given several quotations from the Bible as to why he could not work with Hindu Temple. (Name of the Loan Officer and the exact name of Hindu Temples are omitted to preserve their identity)

GHHF prepared a response and requested the Christian Loan Officer/ Mortgage Broker to answer the questions raised in the letter. Nearly four months after the response letter was sent by Hindu Temple, no further explanation from the Loan Officer was received.

Please accept my sincere apology for the delay in getting this email sent to you.  I realize I needed to get this to you before your Saturday morning meeting.

To understand this email, you must know that I serve one God;
Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.  I am a servant of His Son, Yeshua.  I trust and obey His Word as revealed in the ancient writings of the books of Genesis through Revelation; commonly known as the Holy Bible.

At our first meeting, in your home, I realized you have put your faith in the Hindu religion.  I asked Yahweh;
why am I here and what does He want me to do for you?  He answered me…”serve him and let your service be a witness to Him and his family.”

The scripture He gave me in regards to my service to you and your family was:

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, Colossians 3:23

Serving you and your family has blessed me.  Since I only work by referral to those Yahweh brings into my path, I am so very grateful for the referrals through you to XXXXX, your brother in law XXXXX, and the resulting referral to XXXXXX.  I have worked hard to faithfully serve them and their families as well.

Regarding the $4M-$10M financing opportunity we discussed for the building of the temple and the six figure commission that would likely result;  I am unable to serve you with this;  it would be against my God, Yahweh, and His Kingdom and also be against you, my brother and neighbor.

The scriptures He gave me are:

This is not a difficult decision for me except that I care deeply for you and your family.  I’ve been praying since our meeting Monday afternoon “Lord, how can I be a witness for You and also love XXXX, my brother, neighbor and friend?”

He answered me through His Word which says:

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.  Galatians 6:2
35 One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “ ‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”  Matthew 22:35-40

XXXX, if there is anything I can do to help you and your family, please know I am here to help bear your burdens and love you.  I would like very much to introduce you to the Son of my God.  His name is Yeshua, which means salvation.  I testify that Yeshua has brought life into this dead man’s soul.  Yeshua has paid my debts in full which I could never ever pay on my own (and He’s done the same for you!).  Yeshua has provided a way for me to have life eternally and live forever in His presence.

Though I had a thousand years to live, I could not do justice to the testimony of what Yeshua has done for me.  Yahweh is the One, True and Living, God;

Dear ______________, Loan OFFICER:

Thank you for response to our request for $4M – $10M loan to build a Hindu Temple in Frisco. We are sorry to hear that you are not able to help us in this regard because of your full faith “in Yeshua, my Savior and King;  for Yahweh, my God and His Kingdom.”  In fact you also stated that “ I am unable to serve you with this; it would be against my God, Yahweh, and His Kingdom and also be against you, my brother and neighbor.” To make your point clear, you have quoted few passages from Bible that helped you to make a decision to forego six figure commission and obey your God’s commands: Mark 8:36;  Exodus 20:1-6; Psalm 127:1; Galatians 6:2; and Matthew 22:35-40.  Obviously you felt compelled to follow your scriptural injunctions and not to go against God, Yahweh.

You have also stated in your email that  “Yahweh is the One, True and Living, God; He does not dwell in houses made by human hands nor does His Spirit inhabit idols made with wood, gold or silver. “

We do not have enough knowledge to understand the entire Bible. I am sure you can help us understand the Bible. You also mentioned that: “If you are willing, I would love to tell you about my God.”  I would love to sit with you and know about your God. I have few other friends who may be interested in joining me.

I am Surprised

On behalf of our ____________Temple, I approached you thinking that “We ask, you give.” I was surprised to read your response. Because Bible dictates certain code of ethics that many believers follow.  By looking at what is written these verses, we believed that it will be considered fairly and “will be given.”

Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Also we find another similar verse in Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

I am surprised at your response because you said that you do not want to go against your GOD. Don’t you think that your decision not to work with our Temples goes against the God’s command to give. How come it is not given when asked?

FEW QUERIES FOR MY UNDERSTANDING

In the meanwhile I wanted to ask you few questions so that I may understand your position with regard to some of the verses in Bible. Your response to these following queries would help me understand your faith.

1) Sabbath

Overwhelming majority of Christians believe in Ten Commandments. With regard to Sabbath, Exodus 35:2 commands:

For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Who will put them to death? Is it police or Church? You know that millions and millions of people work on Sunday (Sabbath day). All the shops are open where millions are working. Many sports are played on Sunday. Even Christian Book stores are open defying the word of God. I am sure you thought about it since you would not go against your God. How do we deal with these people and put them to death. Exodus 20:9 even specifies as to who should not work: “you shall not do any work – you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock or the alien resident in your towns.”

2) Buy Slaves

Leviticus 25:44 states that “Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.”

Can we purchase slaves from our neighboring nations such as Canada and Mexico? Do we need to get permission from the government? Or shall we simply follow the Bible without going through the trouble of checking with the government authorities?

3) Daughters as Slaves
Exodus 21:7 states that “When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are.” It appears that a man can sell his daughters as slaves and she cannot be freed even after six years.  Do you know if anybody is selling his daughters and what is the fair price at this time?  If we do not sell our daughters, don’t you think we are denying the GOD?  If we follow God’s command, I believe we can solve the problem of baby sitters. There appears to be a discrimination based on sex. How do we deal with the government that takes away the power of God?

4) Adultery
Leviticus 20:13 “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death;
their blood will be on their own head.”

Leviticus 20:10 “If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife–with the wife of his neighbor–both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.”

Deuteronomy 22:22  “If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.”

Bible is clear that the adulterers must be put to death.  According to research studies that an average of about 70 percent men, and 60 percent women admit to having cheated on a spouse/long-term partner at some point in their lives.

What do we do with these adulterers? Do we put them to death? How do we put them to death? How do we know they committed adultery? Who is going to monitor?

5) Rebellious Sons

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 says: “If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his town at the gate of that place. They shall say to the elders of his town, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of the town shall stone him to death. So you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel will hear, and be afraid.”

Is there any specification of the age of the sons that need the punishment? Do you know where all these stubborn and rebellious sons are stoned to death? Why do we need Juvenile Justice System to prosecute these rebellious sons? We can save lot of money if we follow the dictates of the Holy Bible! How many parents report their sons’ misbehavior to the elders of the town to stone them to death?

6) Women

1 Timothy 2:11-12;
“A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.”

Corinthians 14:34-35;
“Women should be silent during the church meetings. It is not proper for them to speak. They should be submissive, just as the law says. If they have any questions, they should ask their husbands at home, for it is improper for women to speak in church meetings.”

We all know that are millions of women teachers in US and all over the world. What do we do with them? Is it time to fire them because God forbade them?  Do you advocate their removal because they are not permitted to teach according to the Lord.

There are also many women who are in authoritative positions over men.  We know that many governors, Senators, Prime Ministers, Presidents and Cabinet members who are in authoritative positions.  We had Golda Meier as Prime Minister of Israel, the Queen as head of England,  Margaret Thatcher as British Prime Minister,  Isabel Peron as President of Argentina, Indira Gandhi as Prime Minister, and so on. At least twenty countries had women in authoritative positions ruling the countries?  How do we deal with them?  They are all going against the word of God.

7) Amputation

Mathew 18: 8-9;
“If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.”

Mark 9:43 “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.”

It is somewhat troubling to understand.  First of all, according the Bible, everybody is a sinner. If that is the case, anybody that is born should have been thrown away into eternal fire? Is there an exception where somebody is born as a non-sinner?  Since everybody is a sinner who is going to be alive to implement the command of the Lord.

Even if we take the verses literally, if both hands commit sin, how can anybody cut off both hands? You need to have at least one hand to cut and throw away the other sinful hand. If both hands are cut off and thrown away, how does one gouge his eyes that may have caused him to sin?

I am sure, you must have deliberated on this and received the message from God, the Almighty. Can you share your experience?

8) Deformed or Disfigured

But the following verse says that no man with defect can come to the Altar to offer food.

According to Leviticus 21:18-20; “No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed; no man with a crippled foot or hand, or who is hunchbacked or dwarfed, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles.”

If a man cannot approach the Altar with eye defect, do you think we will have enough people to attend churches. According to research studies, nearly 90 percent would have eye defect in their lifetime. Then we will add the blind, lame, disfigured, deformed, crippled etc., to this list, do you think there will be anybody in the church?

WORD OF GOD

I also came to know that the WORD OF GOD couldn’t be changed. His word will stand forever. It is stated in the verse: “The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand for ever.“( Isaiah 40:8).  You also stated in your email that “I am a servant of His Son, Yeshua. I trust and obey His Word as revealed in the ancient writings of the books of Genesis through Revelation; commonly known as the Holy Bible.” If you follow the word of God and your own words, you may have to kill more than half the population, deny women’s rights,  refuse the deformed and crippled, sell our daughters, allow our sons to be stoned to death, etc. Please let me know if I misinterpreted the WORD OF GOD.

He is all-powerful

Mathew 17:20 states that Jesus told the disciples if they have faith as small as the size of mustard seed, they can move the mountain from here to there.  Further Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.” (Matthew 21:21).

Based on this statement, God is all-powerful. If that is the case, Yeshua could have wiped out all other religions so that only Christianity would have reigned supreme.  Also it is stated in the Bible that “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3). If he had taken the sins when he was on the cross, why do we have all the passages dealing with sins and how to put them to death.

Wild and Crazy Statements of Girish Karnad About Islam

I was shocked at the vituperative tirade and disgustingly ignoble attacks in Mumbai the other day by Playwright Girish Karnad on learned Nobel Laureate V.S. Naipal for being anti-Muslim and tone deaf.

Mr. Girish Karnad’s assertion that the Islamic period of Indian history was rich and glorious period is based on false assumptions. It is devoid of factual data, motivated by a malicious design to obscure and falsify Indian history, misleads public opinion, and is just a preposterous nonsense.

In reality, the Islamic period of Indian History was a very dark and dismal period so far as the Hindus are concerned. It was a period of resistance, suffering and suffocation for Hindus. Islamic vandalism was so stark in its evil, so barbarian in its nature and so enormous in its magnitude that it demands eternal condemnation. Mr. V.S. Naipal has rendered a yeomen service to Hindu Samaj and deserves our kudos for telling the truth and enlightening us about the murder and mayhem perpetrated by uncivilized brutes on hapless Hindus.

For the information of readers and Mr. Girish Karnad, I give below some factual accounts of savagery and barbarism provided by Islamic/British chroniclers.

Babur was a beast. He used to derive sadistic pleasure by watching heads of slaughtered Hindus. “I ordered that a tower of Hindu heads be set up on the ground.” (Babur Nama, translated into English by A.S. Beveridge, p. 370)

Akbar was the slaughterer of Hindus. Jahangir, whose earlier name was Salim, wrote in his autobiography “Tarikh-i-Salim Shahi” that under Akbar and Jahangir “five to six hundred thousand (500,000 to 600,000) Hindus were killed.” (Tarikh-i-Salim: Trans. By Price, pp. 225-6).

In relation to Akbar’s conquest in Chittor (Rajputana), Abul Fazl recorded that “following Akbar’s order, eight thousand Rajput warriors were first disarmed and then slain and along with them forty thousand peasants were also slain.” (The Islamic treatment of PoW, Surah 8, Ayat 67, the Quran) (Akbarnama by Abul Fazl translated into English by H. Beveridge)

Abbas Khan Sherwani in his chronicle Tarikh-i-Farishtah recorded: “The Hindoos were pursued and slain by (Muslim) allies with such success, that the river was dyed red with their blood. It is computed by the best authorities that above one hundred thousand (100,000) infidels were slain during the action and in pursuit.”

It is a well-known historical fact that during the Jahangir’s rule in India, our fifth Guru Arjun Dev was made to sit on a hot iron plate.  Hot sand was poured over his body. Our tenth Guru Gobind Singh`s two young sons were bricked alive by Islamists. Many Sikh saints were sawed alive. Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib was put into a cage and his head was chopped off because he refused to convert to Islam.

In recent history, the Indian Muslims were responsible for the partition of our Motherland in 1947. Muslims forced Hindus to cede Sind, West Punjab, Balochistan, North West Frontier and East Pakistan. They gleefully warned Hindus: “Has ke Liya Hi Pakistan, Ladke Lenge Hindustan. (We took Pakistan with a smile; we will take Hindustan by fighting.)”  After the creation of Pakistan, a reign of loot, murder, rape and terror was unleashed against Hindus and Sikhs. Muslims drove out 10 million Hindus from Pakistan. Thus, they reduced the Hindu population in Pakistan from 23% in 1947 to 1% now. In Bangladesh the, Hindu population was reduced from 35-40% in 1947 to 8-9% now.

After consolidating their position, the Muslims turned their eyes on Kashmir. They tortured Hindu to such an extent that more than 400,000 Hindus fled their homes and hearths there. Now, the Muslims want to get rid of Hindus living in Jammu also.

In 1971, more than 3 million people were killed in Bangladesh, out of which 80% were Hindus. More than 30 million Bangladeshi Muslims have already illegally infiltrated into India. Muslim population in Assam is increasing with leaps and bounds. The situation has reached alarming proportions, and soon a Kashmir-like situation could arise there too.

Mr. Karnad seems to be a totally disingenuous and biased person. A feeling has crept in my mind that the guy is either suffering from cognitive disorder or from Stockholm syndrome – a tragic psychological phenomenon in which the hostages express empathy and have a positive feeling towards their captors.

In face of such voluminous and irrefutable evidence about the Islamic brutalities, Mr. Karnad has an audacity to state that Islamic period of Indian history was rich and glorious. Before putting his foot in his mouth, Mr. Karnad should have acquainted himself with the true History of India. By his idiosyncratic behavior, he has lowered his stature, exposed his abysmal knowledge about history and made himself a laughing stock in the eyes of all learned people.

Islamic Contributions: A BIG ZERO

Islamic contributions to the world and especially to India is a big zero. Before the advent of brutal Islam, India was at its zenith of civilization. There was no poverty, discrimination, no beggars, and entire humanity lived in peace, tranquility, harmony and people were well educated.
The desert Deity, the brutal allah  invented by Mohamed, the slave trader, and wonton murderer was a shock to the world. Converted Muslims were forced to destroy the entire Babylonian civilization, Mesopotamia civilization, Egyptian civilization, Persian civilization and part of Indus civilization. Islam has introduced the world with terrorism, slaughter, sexual oppression, beheading of infidels, polygamy, terrorism, killing of innocent humans, sexual exploitation, and anti  human anti freedom, and anti democratic principles around the world.
Some disgruntled Indian writers and pseudo secular politicians praise Muslims and their contributions to the world. For the converted Muslims and ordinary infidels, it is time to think. Why should they follow the brutal philosophy of Saudi Arabia and promote Saudi imperialism. They should think creatively and why should they follow the merciless Saudi Imperialism and forget their culture which give them freedom, creativity and systemic thinking.  Those who are deceptively and forcefully converted into this out dated Saudi Arabian desert ideology which is closed, rigid dogma fir only for criminal activities, including plunder, torture, invasion and polygamy need to know about Islamic history. They need to ask questions not to follow the Imams and Mullahs who are directing the Saudi doctrine for world domination.
Rather  than following Baber, Aurangzeb, Idi Amin, Bin Laden, and Islamic terrorist leaders, converted Muslims must go back to their roots and draw inspiration from their own culture.

Why Pakistan is Hated in the World

WHY MANY MUSLIMS COUNTRIES  CHINESE AND JAPANESE HATE PAKISTANIS

 

 

Pakistanis evoke highly negative emotions worldwide, including in Muslim majority countries, says a US intelligent survey.  Not just the elites but the common Pakistani too is culpable in the country’s spectacular failure.

 

It has never been easy being a Pakistani.  Pick a terrorist act committed anywhere in the world and chances are it has Pakistani fingerprints all over it.  In many places, the word ‘Pakistani’ is a four-letter word.

 

So it must be a nasty kick in the guts for the Pakistanis to learn that their only allies, the Chinese, as well as the majority populations of several Muslim countries, including Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon, see them as a bunch of baddies.

 

A survey of 21 countries released on June 27, 2012 by the United States-based Pew Research Center suggests that Pakistan is not only a universally disliked country but the Pakistanis themselves have learnt nothing from their history, continuing to support the very actors who are responsible for their country’s negative image.

 

It is a measure of Pakistan’s penchant for exporting terrorists, counterfeit currency and drugs that India has constructed a 2043 km long steel fence across its border with its wayward western neighbour.  The floodlit fence is so bright it can be seen from space as a bright orange line snaking from the Arabian Sea to Kashmir.

 

Now Iran is building a 700-km steel and concrete security fence along its border with Pakistan “to prevent border crossing by terrorists and drug traffickers.”  When complete it will make Pakistan the most fenced-in country in the world.

 

You get the picture.  Pakistan is not exactly a popular tourist destination.

 

In four of the five predominantly Muslim nations covered by the American survey, over half give Pakistan negative ratings.  Jordan (57%), Lebanon (56%), Tunisia (54%) and Egypt (53%) had an unfavourable opinion of Pakistan.  The only exception is Turkey, where attitudes are divided (43% negative and 37% favourable).

 

In East Asia, 52% of Chinese see Pakistan unfavourably, as do 59% in Japan and 59% in India.  The Chinese response is not surprising as Pakistan-trained Uighur Muslims have launched terror strikes in China.  Japan, a nation historically distrustful of foreigners, decided not to take chances and deported more than 15,000 Pakistanis after 9/11.

 

 

Runaway Military Most Loved

 

Every country has an army but the Pakistan Army has a country.  The Pakistani military runs a $ 20 billion commercial empire that includes interests such as milk processing plants, bakeries, banks, cinemas, heavy industry and insurance.  Plus a good chunk of the billions of dollars in American aid goes straight into the pockets of the generals.

 

This corrupt empire is walled off from civilians.  Defence analyst Ayesha Siddiqa, author of Military Inc. : Inside Pakistan’s Military Economy, says there is little accountability and widespread siphoning of funds.  The Pakistani military operates a virtual apartheid where an increasingly poor civilian population faces discrimination at virtually every level of national life – from jobs to pensions.

 

Also, the Pakistani military has lost four wars against India.  After each of these wars Pakistan lost territory and the generals their credibility.  But bizarre as it sounds, this military is the most respected institution in the country.  As many as 77% say the military has a good influence on the country, nearly the same percentage (79%) as last year.  The Pakistanis are either very tolerant or very brainwashed.

 

Sure, the military’s ratings have slipped from a high of 86% in 2009, but all it takes is one border flare-up for the ratings to travel north.  The generals always oblige.

 

The media comes next with a 68% rating, followed by religious leaders at 66%.

 

President Asif Ali Zardari receives the most negative reviews.  Only 12% believe he has a good influence, while 84% dislike him.  Attitudes about Zardari are particularly negative in Punjab (96% bad influence) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (95%).

Why is he so unpopular?  Well, Zardari has done more than any previous leader to normalise trade and diplomatic relations with India.  His mending fences approach lacks the customary anti-India sting.

 

 

Attitude Towards Militancy

 

Militant groups such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban have limited appeal among Pakistanis.  Relatively few Pakistanis express a positive view of either Al Qaeda (13%) or the Taliban (13%).  Attitudes toward groups affiliated with the Taliban fare no better in the eyes of the Pakistani public.  Tehrik-i-Taliban, an umbrella organization of Taliban-linked groups in Pakistan, and the Afghan Taliban are viewed positively by only 17% and 14% of Pakistanis, respectively.  The secretive Haqqani network, which is also associated with the Taliban movement, is viewed favourably by only 5% of Pakistanis.

 

The attitudes toward Lashkar-e-Taiba are somewhat more positive – 22% say they have a favourable opinion of this militant group.  This is hardly surprising because the Lashkar mostly targets India.

 

 

How Pakistanis See India

 

When asked which is the greatest threat – India, the Taliban, or Al Qaeda – a clear majority named India.  Roughly a quarter cited the Taliban and only 4% say Al-Qaeda.  This is despite the fact that Al Qaeda blew up the Karachi naval base last year.

 

Only 22% of Pakistanis have a favourable view of India, although this is actually a slight improvement from 14% last year.  Supporters of the two major opposition parties – former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are much more likely to name India as the biggest danger (71% and 61%, respectively) than those that affiliate with Zardari’s governing Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), where this view of India is held by 46%.

 

Pakistanis in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions are more likely to dislike India.  For example, 84% in Punjab and 90% in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa see India as a serious threat, while 64% in Sindh and 61% in Baluchistan say the same.

 

This should alert liberal Indians who rush to the border to hold “candlelight vigils” for peace.  Most Pakistanis are united by their hatred and fear of India – it is only a matter of degree; some hate more, others less.

 

 

Biting The Hand That Feeds

 

India does not get any aid from the United States and yet among all 21 nations Pew surveyed, Indians seemed most favourably disposed towards it.  Only 12% said they had an unfavourable opinion of the United States.

 

On the other hand in Pakistan, which is heavily dependent on American cash and weapons, 80% had a negative opinion of America, with 74% regarding it as an enemy country.  Around four-in-ten (38%) said US economic aid is having a mostly negative impact on Pakistan, while just 12% believed it is mostly positive.

 

Curiously, 40% said American military aid is having a mostly negative effect, while only 8% said it is largely positive.  Pakistan’s military stockpile is largely American supplied.  Do the Pakistanis believe their North Korean knockoffs will do a better job?

 

 

Be Pakistani, Act Indian

 

One of the ironies of Pakistani life in the West is that they pose as Indians, the very people they hate so much.  According to Asghar Choudhri, the chairman of Brooklyn’s Pakistani American Merchant Association, a lot of Pakistanis can’t get jobs after 9/11, and after the botched Times Square bombing, it’s become worse.  “They are now pretending they are Indian so they can get a job,” he told a US wire service.

 

That is because Indians are among the highest educated and best paid ethnic groups, besides being highly integrated immigrants.  Pakistanis, on the other hand, have been accused of honour killings, cousin marriages, child sex rackets, and terrorist activities in the very lands that gave them shelter.

 

From Ramzi Yousef, who bombed the World Trade Center in 1993 (eight years before Osama Bin Laden) and is now serving a 240-year prison sentence to Mir Aimal Kansi, who shot dead two CIA agents and was later executed by lethal injection, to Faisal Shahzad, the Times Square “Idiot Bomber”, there is a long list of Pakistanis who have left a trail of terror.

 

 

Terror On Course

 

The Indian mask that many Pakistanis wear is to get around Western suspicions.  Back home, it’s business as usual.  Two incidents amply demonstrate that Pakistanis have learnt nothing about the dangers of flirting with terror.  One was the widespread outrage across the country over Bin Laden’s killing by American commandos.  The other was the unholy fracas over Kansi’s execution.

 

The day after a Virginia, United States, court handed the CIA shooter the death sentence, four Americans were shot dead on the streets of Pakistan.  After his execution in 2002, Kansi’s funeral was attended by the entire civilian administration in his hometown Quetta, the local Pakistani Corps Commander, and the then Pakistani ambassador to the United States.

 

Thousands of mourners turned out as Quetta city shuttered down.  Kansi’s coffin, draped in black cloth with verses from the Koran embroidered on it in gold, was carried on the shoulders of young men some 10 miles from the airport to his family’s home in Quetta.

 

In Islamabad, the capital city, lawyers and university students poured out on the streets in support of their newest ‘martyr’.

Veteran Indian writer Khushwant Singh is hardly the sort of person you would call anti-Pakistani.  In fact, he’s been accused of “trenchant secularism” because he often backs the Muslim view against the Hindu-Sikh narrative.  For decades, Singh’s house has been a watering hole for many of his Pakistani friends, who come to vent their frustrations.  His mostly tabloid rants aren’t taken too seriously but he has a finger on the Pakistani pulse.

 

In November 2008, 10 Pakistani terrorists raided the Indian city of Mumbai, killing 166 people – mostly innocent civilians.  How did the common Pakistani react when confronted with the fact that it was an operation planned and executed by their countrymen?

 

On the first anniversary of the attack here’s what Singh wrote in his column in the daily newspaper Hindustan Times: “To begin with, there was blank denial of any Pakistani being involved in the crime.  This was tinged with apprehension that India may retaliate by carrying out similar operations in Pakistan and trigger off yet another mutually destructive war.  When that fear proved baseless, it was replaced by a sense of achievement, a feeling of pride that their countrymen could plan and execute such a daring exploit with such finesse…Even the fact that among the innocent victims over 40 were Muslims was brushed aside.  The sense of false pride in performing a foul deed still persists.”

 

This is a snapshot of Pakistani society where the arrow of time is travelling backwards, taking it into a spiral of medieval madness.  Where the death of a terrorist merely means he will be instantly replaced by a hundred clones.

CONSCIOUSNESS is liberty, unconsciousness is slavery. When you are unconscious you are a prey to all kinds of forces and beings outside yourself and over which you have no control. You are a plaything in the hands of any power or influence that seeks to possess you and when you are in such a state it is the undesirable powers that seek and secure hospitality in you. It is only when you become conscious that you begin to react to the outside forces that try to control you or utilize you.

The individual being is only a field, a passive field for the play of cosmic or collective forces. It is in man, with the awakening of an individual consciousness in him, that a movement of self-assertion, of willed reaction has started in nature, that is to say, one is no more content with playing the role of a slave executing helplessly what is demanded of him by an external agent but is now making his own terms and propositions. That is how man is man because he is creating his own self and his own environment.

Consciousness, however, is not mere consciousness, that is to say, awareness; it is also power, power for organization and execution. It is unconsciousness that is or invariably leads to disorderliness, disorganization and confusion. It is the light of consciousness that brings order out of chaos, gives an organized direction to forces moving at random and with no purpose. Man has started organizing his life since he acquired the light of consciousness. He has been doing the yoga of the intelligent will (Gita’s buddhi-yoga) since his advent upon earth. But even in man this force of light, the energy of consciousness is not fully operative because man is not fully conscious, he is only partially so. His mind is conscious and has developed into intelligence (a little strayed into intellectuality); but there are large domains in him that are wholly unconscious, that is to say, move in mechanical rounds, a passive slave of external impacts. I am referring to his vital being and his physical being. Even like the mind these too must admit into themselves the light of the consciousness in order to free themselves from the influence of other external forces and attain the sense of their own truth and self-fulfillment.

Indeed each part, even each constituent element of our being has an individuality of its own, a personal being and consciousness. And it is because it is not aware of that inner reality, because it has fallen unconscious, therefore it has entered into this life of bondage and slavery and mechanical existence. When life becomes conscious, the life-energy becomes luminous, the vital being gradually gains self-control and self-direction. Instead of being moved about by irresponsible and irrepressible desires and impulses it attains a clarity as to what it should desire and what it should effectuate; and along with that light secures the strength also to act up to the directions of that light.

The body too similarly can be filled with light and light-energy; instead of being wholly at the mercy of the physical environment, the natural conditions around or even subject to its own innate or atavistic suggestions, it can be aware of its true reality, its inner nature, and its higher potentialities.

I have spoken of the light in the mind, the consciousness that has awakened there and has organised its activities as an autonomous unit. But we must not forget that it is only partially so. The autonomy is very limited, for a- good part of the human mind is far from being conscious, there is a part half-conscious and a part almost wholly unconscious. This hemisphere so to say is under the influence of the vital and the physical being with their unconscious and ill-organized influence. The true light comes from elsewhere; the mind in so far as it receives the light becomes conscious and proportionately autonomous. The light is always the spiritual light, the consciousness of the spirit which is above and beyond mind. Not only the mind but the vital too, and the physical too in order to be consciously organized and free and autonomous must know how to take in that light beyond the mind and bathe in its liberating influence.

I have laid stress on consciousness, but consciousness has three facets or steps. The first is simple consciousness; the next is self-consciousness and the last supra-consciousness. First you become conscious of a thing, next you become conscious that you are conscious of the thing, last something else is conscious in and through your consciousness. [Nolini Kanta Gupta]

Kashmir and the “movement” there, I have held, has nothing to do with Kashmiryat or any Human Rights.  It is Islamization of a part of India.  Period.

 

With Islamization comes throwing out of any other faith, belief system and religious minorities.  As long as Muslims are in minority, they cannot tire reiterating about the minority rights.  But as soon as they come in majority, even the pretense of concern for minorities goes right out of the window.  Thousands of temples in Bangladesh and Pakistan have been completely destroyed, and many occupied for some activity or the other.

 

Syed Geelani – the guy courted by the likes of Arundhati Roy as the champion of Kashmiriyat has been targeting the Amarnath Yatra.  (Also read: Hypocrisy of the Kashmir Situation) Now he has stepped up his shrillness.  [Check out the Photo feature on Amarnath Yatra)

 

Syed Ali Shah Geelani, known separatist leader and the head of the hardliner faction of Hurriyat Conference, on Wednesday, in a meeting attended by many independent Muslim groups and a few splinter ones, termed the Amarnath Yatra as a “cultural invasion” and blamed the government of India for using the holy pilgrimage as a means to extend its cultural invasion and impose its ideology on Kashmiris.

So, Hindus going to their shrine is a cultural invasion? 

It is bad enough that one has to deal with such religious crackpots.  What is worse is that professional activists prop up such vile characters as champions of harmony of some screwed up societal ideal!  What does he want for the pilgrims going to Amarnath?

 

Geelani had earlier said that he would launch an agitation after Ed in case authorities fail to stop the construction of a concrete road leading to the Amarnath cave in the Himalayas in south Kashmir, disband Amarnath shrine board and limit the number of pilgrims besides curtailing the time period of the pilgrimage to 15 days instead of two months…………..

…….88 people died this time due to weather conditions and travel situations.  A concrete road may not solve all the issues, but it can save many lives.  Besides, given the length of time it takes and number of people who desire to go there, there is no way that the whole thing can finish in 15 days.  So Geelani’s conditions are nothing but an eye-wash.  Simply one more step towards complete elimination of any Hindu activity in that state………

One should remember that after all it were Sufis in the Kashmir valley who were responsible for converting people to Islam and of Islamization of the valley.  Their negative role, where they targeted the kings so that they could kill the Hindus, take over their shrines etc is well documented.

 

If one looks at the treatment of Chinese and then sees the conditions by Geelani, one finds that Kashmir seems to be more foreign and harsh than China for the Hindu pilgrims!
