Dear Patriots,
Following may kindly be examined in support of Raja Dahir being a Hindu king –
3. What the Debate Around bin Qasim and Raja Dahir Tells Us About Pakistan and Nationalism….If we use the story of Ramayana, they became the Rams of the story. However, every Ram needs a Ravana, the penultimate villain, on the basis of whom his glory is projected. Thus entered the villainous Hindu rulers like Raja Dahir, Anandpala, Prithviraj Chouhan, Shivaji and others. For the true light of their rule to shine, the era preceding them needed to be darker. In order for these Muslim rulers to be just, the ones before them needed to be more atrocious. https://thewire.in/south-asia/muhammad-bin-qasim-raja-dahir-sindh-pakistan-nationalism
6. Indian history of NCERT books has been under strong influence of people like Bipin Chandra, Romila Thapar and Irfan Habib, who meticulously omitted those chunks of history that were testimonial to brutality of Muslim occupation and aftermath of the Muslim victory at any place. Raja Dahir was Pushkararany Brahmin. His capital was Brahmanabad, which was renamed as Mansura after the victory of Muslim Arabs. Rajas Dominion in last quarter of 7th AD was from Multan and Queta to Arabian sea and from the border of Seistan to Amarkot. https://www.quora.com/Who-was-Raja-Dahir-of-Sindh-in-the-8th-century-Why-havent-we-heard-and-read-about-him
I have found no reference in which Raja Dahir was said to be anyone other than Hindu!
