Muslims claim that Islam means peace but since the beginning of Islam they have acted against peace. Read the history of Islam from Saudi Arabia to Spain to South Africa to Russia, China, India to Mongolia-Terror, Terror-Terrorism and more terrorism where Muslims have gone since 7th. Century.

Islam is in danger is their all-time slogan to mobilize the Muslims for any dispute, let it be personal, local, regional, national or international. Non-Arab Muslims are slave to Arab fundamentalism.

 

In the western countries to increase the Muslim population they are marrying or living as partners and producing children and leaving the girls as one parent family. These children are mostly single parent family brought up mainly by social services.

Miseries of Bangladesh Hindus began with plantation of communal politics in Bengal by British in 1905. Bengal was divided in two parts: East Bengal with 60% Muslim and 40% Hindu population, and West Bengal with 80% Hindu and 20% Muslim population. Hindu population is sliding down from 30% in 1947 to 23% in 1970 and 9.5% today. Exodus is a daily phenomenon in Bangladesh like all other Muslim country, there are hardly any precedence where non-Muslims has lived long in a Muslim country.


Pre-Pakistan 1946 referendum turned into mass communal riot, which spread all over East Bengal and caused million Hindus death. Massacre of Hindus continued even after creation of Pakistan in 1947. In 1964 riot erupted again with a rumor of theft in a Kashmir-e- shrine, where beard of Mohammed was preserved. The rumor later turns into false and provocative for instigating riot in Pakistan. Muslims needs no issue for destruction/torching of Hindu temple and deities, they will do so unstill the last Hindu lives Bangladesh or converts to Islam.


The most discriminatory racial law “Enemy Property Act” was promulgated in 1965 by General Ayub Khan for making Hindus landless and homeless in their ancestor’s land. Prior to 1965 Hindus owned over 80% agricultural land and 70% urban land. Hindus made most sacrifice in 1971 liberation war, the genocide caused three million deaths of which 80% or more are Hindus. Out of quarter million rape victims, 95% are from Hindus community. Ten million people mostly Hindus (90%) were driven out to India during 1971 war, the exodus of Hindus never stopped and still continues in Bangladesh.


After such a great sacrifice of Hindu community in 1971, the mindset of majority Muslims didn’t change in independent Bangladesh. Secular constitution of 1972 was circumcised by General Ershad in an Islamic flavor with Islam as state religion. He began broadcasting AZAN in the television, Friday as weekly holiday and Red Cross into Red Crescent.


Bangladesh has setup network of madrasa and Islamic institution all over the country under the curtain of moderate Muslim country to train thousands Islamic foot soldier every year as a preparation for Islamic revolution. Existence of two big non-Muslim country Myanmar and India around always generates energy for Jihad in Bangladesh?


As part of continuous intimidation Muslims demolish Hindu temple-deities in regular basis and randomly rape and force convert their girls. The most significant part is all political party unity against Hindus during atrocities are witnessed. Government institution and major political parties observe silence over incident. Police behave very democratic in support of the crime to please its majority community by remaining silent observer. Precedence of arrest and charge sheet is very rare.


So far, the West has shown no interest in diminishing Hindu community of Bangladesh like they have shown in Syrian, Libya, Lebanon & Bosnia.

This is a shame for India to have any diplomatic, cultural, sports, travel, communication, and trade relations with Pakistan/ Bangladesh/Afghanistan.

The present bus, train, air links with Pakistan/ Bangladesh is a suicidal development for India. more than 20 Million Muslims from Bangladesh have already come illegally in India and Muslims who are coming on visa majority of them are not going back to their countries so it is slow and easy invasion of India by Muslims.

During partition of India in 1947 alone two million Hindus/Sikhs//Muslims were killed and at that time more than 50 million people migrated from India to West Pakistan (Pakistan) and India to East Pakistan (Bangladesh) and people also migrated from India to Pakistan. That tragedy was far bigger than what we are witnessing now on Iraq-Turkey border or Iraq-Iran border or in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is because of the advanced technology in the field of news media that the developments are being reported immediately.

In East Pakistan now Bangladesh three million Hindus were killed between 1947 to 1971. India liberated Bengali Muslims from Punjabi Muslims of West Pakistan in 1971 war by defeating Pakistan but the Bengali Muslims[Bangladesh] have reunited against India to harm India by INFILTRATION and TERRORISM etc.

The Muslims are ever ready to call any fight ‘Jihad’ which may be between two groups or two individuals or two nations.

The following are extracts from Koran which clearly and openly command, motivate, incite and encourage Muslims to act whenever and wherever possible without any consideration to humanity since the 7th century A.   4. O Ye Who believe (Muslims). Fight those of disbelievers who are near to you and let them find harshness in you…11: 9: 123.
  5. Lo! Those who disbelieve our revelation. We shall expose them to fire. As often as their skins are consumed we shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment, Lo! Allah is ever mighty, wise. 5: 4: 56.
  6. Lo! Those who believe! Choose not your fathers not your brethren for friends, if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whose of you taken them for friends such are wrong doers. 10: 9: 23.
  7. Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk. 10: 9: 27.
  8. Oh Ye who believe. Choose not for friends and of the disbelievers but keep our duty to Allah if you are believers. 6: 5: 57.
  9. Disbelievers will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter. 22: 33: 61.
  10. Lo Ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto Ye will come (Death).
  11. And who doth greater wrong than he who is reminded of the revelations of his lord, then turneth from them LO! We shall requite the guilt. 21: 32: 22.
  12. Allah promiseth you much booty that ye will capture.
  13. Now enjoy what ye have won as lawful and good. 10: 8: 69.
  14. O Prophet! Strife against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home and helpless journey’s end. 28: 69: 9.
  15. But verily we shall cause those who disbelieve to taste a lawful doom and verily we shall requite them the worst of what they use to. 24: 41: 27.
  16. That is reward of Allah’s enemies: the Fire. Therein is their immortal home payment for as much as they denied our revelations.
  17. Lo! Allah hath brought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs, they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. 11. 9: 111.
  18. Allah promiseth hypocrites both men and women and the disbelievers fire of hell for their abode. It will suffice them. Allah curseth them and theirs in lasting torment. 10: 9: 68.
  19. Oh Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight, if there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred steadfast they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve because they (disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence. 10: 8: 65.
  20. O Ye Who believe! Take not the Jews and Christians for friends. They are friends to one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them, Lo! Allah guideth not wrong doing folk. 6: 5: 51.
  21. Fight against such of those who have been given the scripture as believe not in Allah not the last day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden his messenger and follow not the religion of truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low. 10: 9: 29.
  22. Therefore we have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handy work. 6: 5: 14.
  23. They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve that ye may be upon a level (with them). So, choose not friend from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah, if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them whenever ye find them, and choose not friend nor helper from among them…. 5: 4: 89.
  24. Fight them (disbelievers)! Allah will chastise them at your hands, he will lay them low and give you victory over them, and he will heal the breasts of folk who are believers (Muslims).

There are many such writings in Koran. This is crystal clear from above quotations from Koran that these writings excite, incite and command Muslims and create jealousy and atmosphere of tension leading to fight. This orders them to loot, kill, dispossess non-Muslims for no reason at all.

Read the world history Islam/ Muslim verses the rest of the world. The Muslims cannot live in peace and would not let others live in peace. Muslims fight with Muslims for example Sunnis and Shias/ Ahmadiya and kill each other.

This is the cause of riots, fights, disputes and wars between Muslims and non-Muslims at individual, community, national and international levels in the world. There will never be peace between Muslims and non-Muslims because these quotations will always motivate, encourage, excite and incite them against non-Muslims.

Prophet Mohamed was a terrorist, robber and rapist according to Arabic records.

He murdered people who spoke against him or did not agree with him. Many were murdered by his command. He even killed people while they slept. There were no trials, no dialogues and no judgements. He murdered young, old, men and women because he hated them.

The following murders were committed by his orders

  1. Ibn Sunayna a jweish man because he was a jew.
  2. Abu Afak 120-year-old while he slept.
  3. Asma Marwan mother of five children murdered while she slept.
  4. A slave women mother of two murdered while she slept.
  5. One eyed Shepard while he slept.
  6. A very old woman ripped in half when she was captured.
  7. A slave girl who was murdered because she poked fun at Mohamed

Mohamad with others used to kill, and rob merchants and caravans. The following women were raped by Mohammed.

Juwarriya, Rayhana, Saifiya after beheading their husbands.

Once Mohammed happen to see his daughter in law naked and he wanted her madly so he asked his son to divorce her and then he married her.

The above details are all well documented by Arab scholars and historians.

You must read Koran so that you may appreciate what you have read so far.

The definition used here of believer and non-believer is as used by Islam and it is due to their narrow thinking causing all the conflicts, violence, wars and evilness in all the five continents.

When it comes to Jihad let it be Sunni/ Shia/ Ahamadia/ Quadiani/ educated or non-educated, villager or from city, leader or followers, all Muslims from all the countries rich or poor are united against non-Muslims. Hindus, here in Hindusthan or anywhere in the world and as a result Hindus have been and are suffering. We must work together to reduce their strength, number, power and influence wherever whenever possible at all level which is essential for our existence otherwise we have no future considering the record of history in Hindusthan. This is a real challenge ahead. Along with Muslims we have to control Christians/ opportunists/ secularists/ communists in Hindusthan.

Remember that Islam and democracy / freedom are not compatible. These are two parallel lines and can never meet. Islam is synonymous with sex, violence, betrayal, lies, cheat, murder, assassinations, sabotage, kidnap, rape, polygamy, poisoning, gang rape, bombing, attack on Parliament [India], attack on state assembly at Srinagar, killing of family members in front of family, rape of young girls and boys, beheading of hostages, planting bombs in public places, bombing of trains, buses, women/drug trafficking, highjacking of planes, raping of girls in front of family, loot, plunder, infiltration, production of fake currency to sabotage the economy of non-Muslim country, destruction of temples, destroying ancient heritage, demolition of Buddha’s statue in Afghanistan, killing of innocent people which is now again clear to the people of the world with incidents of 11. 9. 2001 in many places of the world. India is the worst victim because of weak leaders.

There is simple solution to control the Islam/Muslims by isolating them by suspending all visa to Muslims, severe all diplomatic relations with all Muslim countries to maximum, stop supplying medicines and food grains and machinery for three months and they will come begging and then renegotiate the diplomatic relations on the principles of democracy and freedom. This is the simple and honorable solution otherwise this war, proxy war a war declared by Koran, between Islam/Koran/Muslims on one side and non- Muslims on the other side will never end.

This needs careful thinking, planning and decision to act as a brave man with nerves of steel to make this world a peaceful place for us and future generation. For this we have to deal firmly with iron hands with Islam and Muslims.

Five [ Evil ] Pillars of Islam

Majority of people in the world are in dilemma and confused about Islam, its objectives and aims due to two faces of Islam presented by Muslim scholars and other ignorant people who have never read Koran and history of spread of Islam. In order to understand Muslim mind one must first read Koran/Hadith/Sharia law present behavior of Muslims in Muslim countries and all other countries and pay attention to its quotations which clearly command, motivate, incites and excites all Muslims to follow in order to get reward to go to heaven. To get the reward they must obey the [evil] orders to harm non-Muslims to spread Islam by converting Kafirs[non-Muslims] to Islam. There in heaven he or she would get seventy virgin hoors/women, young boys, grapes and wine which they can enjoy after death. The ultimate aim of Islam is to conquer the whole world by all available evil means and convert non-Muslims [non-believers]to Islam. There was not a single Muslim 1400 years ago and now there are 1400 Million Muslims and there are 57 Islamic countries where they have wiped out all the traces of pre Islamic culture, traditions, languages, religion, dress and way of living by means of terror, torture, violence and sex, demolishing the centers of education, religious places[Buddhist, Jain Centre Mandirs, Churches, Gurdwaras], libraries and universities and degraded women to be slave in their own homes.

EVERY MUSLIM IS A POTENTIAL JIHADI we have seen all over the world for the last 1400 years and very recently in America, England, India, Kenya on the name of Jihad. This is far from truth that Muslims are moderate. Newly converted Muslims are as bad as Talibanis. No Muslim is moderate when the order comes from Imams, Mullas, Hizbullah, Al Qaeda. Talibans and other dozens of murderous Muslim organizations. They get plenty of money from oil rich Muslim countries which is no more a secret now. The money they use for everything for their goals.

 

Why do Muslims do all these inhuman deeds?

This is all due to teachings of Quran, implemented by Mullahs.

They think, believe and act that they are superior, their religion is superior and Allah is the only God and other religions are false, their scriptures are false. They have divided the world as believers [ Muslims] and non-believers [ kaffirs/ infidels/ inferiors/ no Muslims].

All Muslims are brain washed and they strongly believe that they will be entertained by 70 virgin Houris, virgin boys, best wine and grapes in Jannat[heaven] after death as Jihadi.

To achieve their goals, they do the followings and these are their five pillars to build the Islamic empire by dominating first at local then regional and then national level and ruthlessly throughout the world. There are now 57 Muslim countries and non of them have democracy and there is no peace in these countries because of infightings [Sunni verses Shia]. The following are the real five pillars of Islam.

 

  1. 1. Terrorism, violence and sex. Islamic terrorism is a war against non-Muslims by the sons of Allah and it is as old as Islam. This is a declared war since the beginning of Islam in the 7 th. Century according to the writings in Koran. The terrorism is the most cruel in which they kill, assassinate, torture, behead, kidnap, shoot, rape, gang rape, loot, plunder, hang, hijack, set fire the temples, churches, crops, kill children in front of parents, rape young girls in front of family, kill people with knife, sword slowly by cutting neck then showing as video, residential homes, centers of education, parliaments, democratic institutions, schools and theatres.

Islamic terrorists try to poison the water and food supplies.

The history is full of evidence about their crimes. Muslims are well known about genocide.

The violence / terrorism is easily visible. This can be seen wherever Muslims live or where Islam once ruled, dominated or invaded for short period. The incidence of 9/11 in America has become known to everybody.

  1. Jihad. Muslims use and abuse this term for their benefit This they call holy war and mobilize the fellow Muslims for personal, local, regional, national and international problems. They always blame others for their failures and shamelessly demand unreasonable favors. In act of Jihad there is always violence in which they damage properties, stab, kill, loot, burn vehicles and properties and ready to do evil acts so there is brake down of law and order situation. They try to create terror in the area to dominate to rule or rule to dominate in the future. They come in great numbers and yell Allah hoo Akbar that Allah is great. What is great about Allah in act of violence? Take the number of prisoners you would find that Muslims are in large number percentage wise in the countries of their adoption which shows their criminal mentality
  2. Non –Integration. Where Muslims are in minority they live separately and do not believe in integration and assimilation with the host country. They use Burka or Hizab which even their parents did not use in their country of origin. They demand Halal meat in schools/ hospitals/hotels and public places and demand time off for Namaz several times in a day [ five times] which they never did before or in the country of origin during working hours. They have Madrassas where there is more attention to the teaching of Koran and Mullahs brain wash the young mind and teach to hate non-Muslims and not have friendship with non-Muslims and so their performance is poor in schools/universities and place of work. These Madrassas are the centers/ factories to produce future terrorists or Jihadis. There is inbreeding in Muslims so the genetical diseases are more in Muslims as observed by medical experts.
  3. Moderate Islam, secular Muslim. This is the other side of the coin in which Muslim scholars, leaders and some non-Muslims leaders promote that Islam is a religion of peace and majority of Muslims are moderate and secular and only a tiny minority believes in terrorism. To say this is nothing but a white lie and a fraud to confuse the ill-informed non-Muslims. This statement is far from truth and very irresponsible. In fact Islam is Koran and Koran is Islam. The Koran teaches to eliminate other religions by all the evil means available to Muslims. This is a myth to think that there are secular or moderate Muslims. This is a mirage to think that Muslims would integrate, assimilate with non-Muslims and examples are the 57 Muslim countries where all the pre Islamic cultures have been totally destroyed and in other countries where Muslims are slowly but surely engaged to dominate and wherever possible destroying the culture of the host nation all over for example India, European countries including England, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Switzerland, France and Finland you name it.

Further to this Islam does not believe in democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of expression or free discussion on the contents of Koran if any interpretation, translation is done other than what suites them then Fatwa is issued for the killing of that person.

There is no real democracy in any of the 57 Islamic countries of the world. In fact, there is theocracy there. The Muslim countries are ruled by Mullahs, Muftis and Ayatollahs and demands for sharia laws are getting stronger in the U. K. and many other European countries.

Muslim country[unstable]————-tries to be theocratic[unstable]———-Becomes theocratic [Unstable] ———–threats to neighboring countries——-creates conflicts by various evil policies and enters in disputes and fights. This is going on all the time you can see it by present and past records of Muslim countries.

  1. Conversion, infiltration and producing more children to increase Muslim population in Darul Harb countries. Darul Harb is a country where Muslims are in minority and they are in war with infidels/ Kaffirs as declared by Koran so the aim is to convert it into a Darul Islam country so the Muslims can dominate and rule it as Darul Islam. This can be done by increasing the number of Muslims by conversion, infiltrations and producing more children. Muslims do not believe in family planning that is clear by statistics/ census in the countries around the world.

White girls are being converted to Islam in large number in Europe. During the 2nd. World Islamic Conference in 1983 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia then President of Iraq Saddam Hussein while addressing the conference said that Allah had spoken twice to Muslims when He first spoke He gave us Qur’an and second time when He spoke He gave us petrol so now we must use unlimited money to convert Kaffirs to Islam and this was agreed unanimously. For this oil, rich countries established a fund to provide unlimited money to convert non-Muslims to Islam in every country and this work is going on through their active Muslim workers and agencies and Mullahs.

Muslim boys are marrying white girls having children and leave these girls as single mothers to bring up kids on social security and increasing Muslims in the country. Polygamy is not allowed by law but Muslims have many female partners in European countries.

The number of Muslims is increasing at an alarming rate and Europe now being called as Eurabia by Muslims in their conversations and countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, England France, Scotland and Italy would be Islamic nations in few years because of their policy of appeasing Muslims and increasing Muslims in number.

European and Indian leaders must look in to this increase in Muslim population at present and its consequences in 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years from now. It is shocking to imagine Sharia law in England but England is fast heading towards this. The chancellor of Exchequer Gordon Brown of U. K. has allowed some concessions in the finance based on Sharia law to attract petro-Dollar into U. K. and this is the first step on road to Islamisation of England. The European and Indian leaders have failed to understand the Muslim mind which acts on Quranic teachings.

There are asylum seekers and large percentage of them are Muslims and nobody knows how many have entered illegally not only in the U. K. but in Europe.

If Turkey will join E. E. C. then Europe will become Eurabia before the end of 21St. century and Sharia laws will rule the continent.

This is a historical fact that Sudanese always defeated Muslims so Muslims started infiltrating in to Sudan and it took one thousand years to convert this country in to a Islamic country by increasing Muslims in number and today Sudan is a Islamic –Jihadist-Fascist –terrorist country an enemy of free world.

All the Muslim countries, 57 in total, have come into being in similar way. This evil Muslim policy is being applied in European countries and with apparent success and is a danger to our freedom.

This is a great game of numbers and whites are losing out because of family planning, and increasing lesbians and gay couples. Many women and men do not marry. One in six couples have subfertility/ infertility. In Europe Muslims are increasing in number and Whites are decreasing.

Muslims have large family and they are against family planning.

This is the fact of life that there is no peace living with Muslims. Muslims cannot live in peace and do not know what is peace so they fight among themselves. There is always killing, attack on Shias by Sunnis and vice versa. Then there are other sects in Islam like Ahamadia, Quadianis, Bahais, Kurds so killing is always there from time to time between them. There is also class and caste system in Islam/ Muslims so they are deeply divided and backward in education, technology and science but lead in terrorism. How can Europe or the world have peace?

Severe all contacts with Muslim countries and ban their entry in democratic countries and ban the source of the trouble.

The root cause of all the problems of Muslim terrorism since 7th century in the world is Quran itself. There cannot be and will not be peace, integration, assimilation good understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims as long as Quran is there. For example, see the situation in India in spite of living together there is no understanding between the two communities in the period of over 1200 years. The country was divided and now will be further divided/destroyed because of Muslim- Islamo-fascism.

Gandhi and Muslim Appeasement – I

It is now well known that Muslim appeasement was an inseparable part of Gandhi’s quack doctrine of Non-violence. But many do not know why he, while he was in South Africa, adopted, or compelled to adopt this dirty policy in 1908. At that time the South African government imposed an unjust tax of £ 3 on every Indian living in South Africa and Gandhi initiated talks with South African government on this matter. But the Muslims did not support this move and were displeased with Gandhi. In addition to that Gandhi, in one occasion, made some critical comments on Islam while he was speaking at a gathering. Furthermore, he tried to make a comparative estimate of Hinduism, Islam and Christianity, which made the Muslims furious.

 

A few days later, on 10th February 1908, a group of Muslims under the leadership of a Pathan called Mir Alam entered Gandhi’s house and beat him mercilessly. When Gandhi fell on the ground the Muslim attackers kicked him right and left and beat him with sticks. They also threatened to kill him. From this incident onward, Gandhi stopped to make any critical comment on Muslims as well as on Islam. According to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, this incident was a milestone in Gandhi’s life and afterwards Gandhi began to overlook even the most heinous crime committed by the Muslims.

 

An example would help the reader to understand the matter. On 23rd December 1926, a Muslim assassin called Abdul Rashid stabbed Swami Shraddhananda to death, when the swami was ill and lying on his bed. The reader may recall that Swami Shraddhananda was a pracharak (whole time worker) of Arya Samaj and he started a Suddhi Yajna to bring the converted Muslims of this country back to Hinduism. But his activity was detested by the Muslims. A couple of months earlier a Muslim woman came to the Swami and expressed her desire to return to Hinduism with her children. However, her husband brought an allegation of abduction in the court of law against the Swami. But the court quashed the allegation and set the Swami free. The incident turned the Muslims extremely furious and within a few days Abdul Rashid assassinated him.

 

After a few days of this incident, Gandhi went to Gauhati to deliver his speech at the national conference of Indian National Congress. The atmosphere was depressed and gloomy due to unusual death of Shraddhananda. But Gandhi made everyone dumbfounded and began his speech by addressing the assassin Abdul Rashid as “Bhai Abdul Rashid”. Without caring for the reaction of the listeners, he continued, “Now you will perhaps understand why I have called Abdul Rashid a brother, and I repeat it. I do not even regard him as guilty of Swami’s murder. Guilty indeed are those who excited feeling of hatred against one another.” Thus, he indirectly heldSwami Shraddhananda responsible for his murder, as he was propagating hatred through his Suddhi Yajna. Moreover, he wrote in the obituary note, “He (the Swami) lived a hero. He died a hero.” In other words, if a Hindu falls victim to the knife of a Muslim’s assassin, Hindus should consider it a heroic death. It should be pointed out here that the said policy of Muslim appeasement originated by Gandhi, under the garb of (pseudo) secularism was responsible for the Partition of the country in 1947. Many of our countrymen, still today, firmly believe that Gandhi was against partition as in the public meetings, he used to say, “Vivisect me, before you vivisect India”. When he was saying this in public meetings, he was expressing just the opposite view through his writings. The reader may recall that, on March 26, 1940, the leaders of the Muslim League raised the issue of creation of Pakistan as a separate homeland for them. Hardly a couple of weeks later, supporting demand, Gandhi wrote, “Like other group of people in this country, Muslims also have the right of self-determination. We are living here as a joint family and hence any member has the right to get separated.” (Harijan, April 6, 1940). A couple of years later, he also wrote, “If majority of the Muslims of this country maintain that they are a different nation and there is nothing common with the Hindus and other communities, there is no force on the earth that can alter their view. And if on that basis, they demand partition that must be carried out. If Hindus dislike it, they may oppose it”, (Harijan, April 18, 1942).

 

The reader should also recall that the Congress Working Committee, in its session on June 12, 1947, decided to place the partition issue to be placed before the All India Congress Committee (AICC) for a debate and the AICC approved the issue in its session held on June 14-15, 1947. In the beginning of the debate, veteran Congress leaders like Purusottamdas Tandon, Govindaballav Panth, Chaitram Gidwani and Dr S Kichlu etc. placed their very convincing speeches against the motiom. Then Gandhi, setting aside all other speakers, spoke for 45 minutes supporting partition.The main theme of his deliberation was that, if Congress did not accept partition (1) other group of people or leaders would avail the opportunity and throw the Congress out of power and (2) a chaotic situation would prevail throughout the country. Many believe that, in the name of ‘chaotic condition’, he tacitly asked the Muslims to begin countrywide communal riot, if the Congress did not accept the partition. Till then, Sardar Ballavbhat Patel was on the fence regarding the partition. But Gandhi’s speech turned him into a firm supporter of partition and he influenced other confused members to support the issue. In this way, Congress approved the partition issue (History of Freedom Movement in India, R C Majumdar, Vol-III, p-670).

 

It may appear to many that, up to partition, Gandhi’s policy of nonviolence and Muslim appeasement in the name of secularism indeed harmed the country a lot. But a close look will reveal, it has done severe damage even after partition, or to speak the truth, it is causing serious damage even today. During independence, the Muslim population in undivided India was 23 per cent and this 23 per cent Muslims, got 32 per cent land area as Pakistan. The most appropriate step after partition was to carry out population transfer, or send the entire Muslim population of the divided India to Pakistan and bring all Hindus from Pakistan to India. This population transfer was included in the proposal for Pakistan by the Muslim League and after communal riot in Bihar, M A Jinnah requested the Government of India to carry out population transfer as early as possible. But Gandhi was hell bent not to undertake out the process and said that it was an impractical and fictitious proposal.

 

Mount Batten, the then Governor General of India, was a staunch supporter of the said population exchange and advised Jawaharlal Nehru to do the same without delay. But Nehru submitted to the will of Gandhi and refrained from doing so. It is needless to say that, from the practical point of view, the said population exchange was urgently necessary and had it been carried out at that time, many problems of today would not have arisen. But due to the policy of Muslim appeasement of Gandhi, Muslims happily stayed back in this country, while Hindus had no alternative but to come to India as refugees or penniless beggars.

 

Many of us perhaps do not know that due to strong opposition by Gandhi, “Bande Mataram” could not be accepted as the National Anthem” of this country. In his early life, Gandhi had a great affinity for the song and while he was in South Africa, he wrote “It is nobler in sentiment and sweeter than the songs of other nations. While other anthems contain sentiments that are derogatory to others, Bande Mataram is quite free from such faults. Its only aim is to arouse in us a sense of patriotism. It regards India as the mother and sings her praise.” But later on when he could discover that the Muslims dislike the song, he at once stopped singing or reciting the same at public places. Hence ultimately the “Jana Mana Gana” was selected as the National Anthem.During the debate over the matter in the Constituent Assembly, Nehru argued that Bande Mataram is not suitable to sing along with military band while Jana Gana Mana is free from this difficulty.

 

In the present context, it should also be pointed out that Gandhi was not pleased with Tri Color, the National Flag of today’s India because the Muslims disliked the same. In this regard, Sri Nathuram Godse has narrated an incident in his “Why I Assassinated Gandhi”, which deserves to be noted in this context. During his Noakhali tour in 1946, a Congress worker put a tricolor over the temporary house where Gandhi was staying. One day an ordinary Muslim passer by objected to it and Gandhi immediately ordered his men to bring flag down. So, to please an ordinary Muslim, Gandhi did not hesitate to disgrace and dishonor the flag revered by millions of Congress workers. (pp-75-76). It should also be pointed out here that in his early life, Gahdhi was very fond of the Hindi language and used to say that it was the only language having the potentiality to play the role of the national language. But to please the Muslim, he, later on tried his best to make Urdu, under the garb of Hindustani, the National Language of India. (Koenrad Elst, Gandhi and Godse, Voice of India, p – 89).

 

A few months before the partition, when Hindu and Sikh refugees started to come from West Punjab in droves and crowding the refugee camps of Delhi, one day Gandhi visited a refugee camp and said, “Hindus should never be angry against the Muslims even if the latter might make up their minds to undo their (Hindus’) existence. If they put all of us to the sword, we should court death bravely. … We are destined to be born and die, then why need we feel gloomy over it?” (speech delivered on April 6, 1947).

 

In a similar occasion, he said, “The few gentlemen from Rawalpindi who called upon me, asked me, “What about those who still remain in Pakistan?” I asked, why they all came here (Delhi)? Why they did not die there? I still hold on to the belief that we should stick to the place where we happen to live, even if we are cruelly treated, and even killed. Let us die if the people kill us, but we should die bravely with the name of God on our tongue.” He also said, “Even if our men are killed, why should we feel angry with anybody? You should realize that even if they are killed, they have had a good and proper end” (speech delivered on November 23, 1947)

 

In this context, Gandhi also said, “If those killed have died bravely, they have not lost anything but earned something. … They should not be afraid of death. After all, the killers will be none other than our Muslim brothers.” (Shri Nathuram Godse, Why I Assassinated Gandhi, p-92,93; as quoted by Koenrad Elst in Gandhi versus Godse, Voice of India, p-121). In another occasion when he was talking to a group of refugees, said, “If all the Punjabis were to die to the last man without killing (a single Muslim), Punjab will be immortal. Offer yourselves as nonviolent willing sacrifices.” (Collins and Lapierre, Freedom at Midnight, p-385). There is no doubt that if someone reads all these utterances of Gandhi, he would take him either a fool or a lunatic, but we are worshiping him as a Mahatma or a Great Soul.

 

Gandhi believed that Muslims were brothers of the Hindus and hence they should never take arms or wage a war against the Muslims. He used to say that the foreign policy of independent India should always be respectful to Islam and the Muslims. Moreover, independent India should never invade a Muslim country like Arabia, Turkey etc. Gandhi also said that Rana Pratap, Guru Govinda Singh, Raja Ranjit Singh and Raja Shivaji were misguided patriots because they fought war with the Muslims. In his eyes Goerge Washington, Garibaldi, Kamal Pasha, D Valera, Lenin etc. were misguided patriots as they encouraged violence.

 

Gandhi’s utterances painting respected Hindu heroes as misguided patriots aroused widespread commotion among the Hindus. Most importantly, calling Raja Shivaji a misguided patriot put entire Maharastra on boil. Later on, Nehru could pacify their anger partially by begging apology on behalf of Gandhi.

 

The Muslims whenever attack a Hindu settlement, they, in addition killing innocent people, setting their houses on fire, loot and burglary as their routine work, rape Hindu women. It is evident that, they commit all such oppressions according to the instructions of the Koran, revealed by Allah. During the Muslim rule that lasted for nearly 800 years, raping Hindu women became a common affair. To save their honor and sanctity from the lecherous Muslims, millions of Hindu women used to sacrifice their lives in flames. In the wake of partition most of the Hindu families became victims of Muslim oppression and raping Hindu women was an inseparable part of their attacks. When Hindus were butchered in Noakhali in 1946, thousands of Hindu women were raped by the Muslims.

 

Many Hindus of this country do not know, what Gandhi, the Great Soul and the Apostle of nonviolence, thought about this behavior of the Muslims. In the 6th July, 1926, edition of the Navajivan, Gandhi wrote that “He would kiss the feet of the (Muslim) violator of the modesty of a sister” (Mahatma Gandhi, D Keer, Popular Prakashan, p-473). Just before the partition, both Hindu and Sikh women were being raped by the Muslims in large numbers. Gandhi advised them that if a Muslim expressed his desire to rape a Hindu or a Sikh lady, she should never refuse him but cooperate with him. She should lie down like a dead with her tongue in between her teeth. Thus, the rapist Muslim will be satisfied soon and sooner he leave her. (D Lapierre and L Collins, Freedom at Midnight, Vikas, 1997, p-479).

 

From the above narrations, it becomes evident that Gandhi was never moved by the sufferings and miseries of the Hindus and, on the contrary, he used to shed tears for the Muslims. His idea of Hindu-Muslim amity was also extremely biased and prejudiced. Only Hindus are supposed to make all sacrifices for it and they should endure all the oppressions and heinous crimes of the Muslims without protest. And that was the basis of Gandhian nonviolence and secularism. So, a Muslim called Khlifa Haji Mehmud of Lurwani, Sind, once said “Gandhi was really a Mohammedan” (D Keer, ibid, p-237).

Among the comparatively milder measures of the Goa inquisition were forbidding more than 42 Hindu customs, including wearing the sacred thread, the tilak on the forehead, greeting people with a Namaste and removing of slippers outside a place of worship.

 

The palace has been razed to the ground. Hordes of chattering tourists walk over the site now, clicking selfies against the massive white-washed facade of Saint Catherine’s Church in Old Goa. Children crowd around an ice-cream cart. Couples canoodle under an ancient banyan tree nearby. No traces remain of the dreaded ‘Vhodle Ghor’ or the ‘Big House’ as it was referred to in hushed tones by the terrified people of Goa, except a few moss-covered blocks of laterite stones that lie scattered in the grass. Those stones are the only surviving witnesses of the bloodiest chapter in Goan history — that of the Goa Inquisition.

Return to the ruins of the Palace of The Inquisition in the evening, after the last busload of tourists has departed. Sit a while on a laterite block as the sun goes down. If you are sensitive enough, you can still hear the terrified screams of hapless victims being tortured inside the ‘Vhodle Ghor’ by the Inquisitor’s court. In 1560, the erstwhile palace of Adil Shah, the sultan of Bijapur, in Old Goa was turned into a terrible torture chamber with the addition of a chapel, the residence of the inquisitor, more than 200 windowless prison cells and many torture chambers.

Not many people outside Goa know about the terrible Goa Inquisition. The Inquisition was introduced in Goa in 1560 by the then Portuguese king Joao III at the behest of Francis Xavier, the Jesuit monk whose mummified remains lie in a Church just across the road from the site of the Palace of Inquisitions. Inquisition lasted in Goa till 1812 – a period of more than 250 years! It was temporarily abolished in 1774 by the relatively moderate Marquis De Pombal, but was reinstated promptly in 1778 after his fall from grace. Under the inquisition, thousands of people, both men and women, were arrested on charges of heresy and subjected to inhuman torture. Many were burnt alive at ritualistic public spectacles known as autos-da-fe.

The court of inquisition was set up as a royal tribunal, headed by a judge answerable only to the king based in Lisbon. One of the first acts of the inquisitor’s office in Goa was to forbid public practice of the Hindu faith. Hindus were forbidden to worship their Gods and Goddesses in public. In 1566, a vice-regal order prohibited Hindus from constructing temples or repairing old temples. In 1567 the Portuguese started destroying Hindu temples. In Bardez district alone, more than 300 temples were razed to the ground and Churches built in their place.

All Hindu rituals including marriages, thread ceremonies and cremations were banned by law. All people above 15 years of age were forced to attend Christian preachings. The palace of inquisition became a torture chamber for Hindus, Jews, Muslims and even for converted Christians who clung to their Hindu customs and traditions. More than 42 Hindu customs were considered heretical, including wearing the sacred thread, wearing a tilak on the forehead, greeting people with a Namaste and removing of slippers outside a place of worship.

Historian Alfredo de Mello describes the Goa Inquisition as a collection of ‘nefarious, fiendish, lustful, corrupt religious orders which pounced on Goa’. According to François Pyrard de Laval, a Frenchman who lived in Goa between 1608-1610, the Goa Inquisition was more severe than the one practiced in Portugal. The most authentic account of the tortures of the Goa Inquisition comes from another Frenchman, a doctor named Dillon, who was imprisoned at the palace of the Inquisition. He describes his experiences in his book ‘De Relation L’Inquisition De Goa’. The translation of this book is a part of the famous Goa historian A. K. Priolkar’s seminal work on the subject.

For me, the Goa Inquisition was not just a sterilized remote term to be read in history textbooks. My own family had borne the brunt of the Inquisition. My ancestors had to leave behind their village, their land and all their wealth to save their faith. As their original village Nagoa was destroyed by the Portuguese under the religious command of the fanatical Jesuit priests, my family moved to Cuncolim and started a new life. They made a choice to not surrender their faith. Some others chose otherwise. Converting to Christianity meant official patronage and a good life. The Court of Inquisition guaranteed “protection” to Hindus who converted to Christianity and gave them rights over the lands of people who had chosen to leave their homes rather than convert to Christianity.

In 1583, all temples in my own village of Cuncolim were destroyed by the Portuguese army under direct orders from the court of Inquisition. The proud warriors of my village were not ones to suffer in silence. They led an armed rebellion on 25 July 1583 against the Portuguese. Five Jesuit priests and 14 local converts were killed in the attack. Enraged by this, the Portuguese sent a massive army that burnt and pillaged the village and unleashed unspeakable atrocities on the people. The local warriors still did not give up. They merely hid in the surrounding forests and attacked the Portuguese forces using guerrilla tactics. The Portuguese then tried to be cunning. They invited the leaders of the revolution for talks at a nearby fort and in a stunning act of treachery, sixteen unarmed chieftains were brutally massacred by the Portuguese. Only one escaped by jumping into the river. The sacrifice of the chieftains of Cuncolim is still remembered in Goa as its first ever freedom struggle.

The effects of the Goa Inquisition are felt in Goa till today. There are families torn forever into two, one branch still carries the ancestral Hindu name while the other bears a Christian name. Churches exist where temples once stood.

A few days ago, the Catholic Church apologized for its role in the horrific 1994 genocide in Rwanda. A church statement officially accepted that its members planned, aided and executed the genocide, in which more than 800,000 people were brutally massacred. In 2015, Pope Francis had apologized for the “many grave sins” committed by the Church against the indigenous people of South America while speaking in Bolivia. Before that, his predecessor, Pope John Paul II had apologized to the Muslims for the crusades and to the Jewish people for the anti-Semitism of the Catholics that had aided the holocaust and for the involvement of the Church in African slave trade.

When will the Catholic Church apologize for the terrors of the Inquisition it inflicted upon the people of Goa?

Violent Protests in Indonesia Blow an ill Will for Religious Tolerance

In Jakarta violence between protestors and police broke out Friday night, November 4, 2016 when an estimated 200,000 Muslims emerged from Friday prayers in mosques to rally outside the Indonesian President’s palace. Clashes with police led to tear gas being used on demonstrators, and Indonesia’s president, Joko Widodo, had to postpone his planned visit to Australia to deal with the crisis.

 

The crowd was calling for the arrest of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, known as Ahok, the Chinese Christian governor of Jakarta, which is Indonesia’s capital and the largest city in the world’s fourth most populous nation.

 

A video had gone viral showing Ahok referring in a speech to chapter 5, verse 51 of the Qur’an. He warned his listeners not to give credence to those who might try to deceive them with this verse or others like it.

 

Ahok has faced criticism before from hardline Muslims, who objected when he stood as Deputy Governor of Jakarta in 2012. Yet Ahok is very popular, and seems set to win the next gubernatorial election in February 2017. He previously took office as Governor in 2014 after Joko Widodo resigned his position as Jarkarta mayor to take up the Presidency of the nation.

 

Muslims opposed to Ahok had been citing verse 5:51 from the Qur’an to try to delegitimize his candidacy. The verse reads:

 

You who believe! Do not take the Jews and Christians as allies. They are allies of each other. Whoever of you takes them as allies is already one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the people who are evildoers. (5:51)

 

The word translated here as allies (Arabic) awliya, is ambiguous. It can mean ‘allies’, but also ‘patrons’ or ‘guardians’.

 

The rejection of dependence upon disbelievers is emphasized repeatedly in the Qur’an (e.g. in verses 3:28 and 4:141, 144).

 

In Indonesian translations of the verse 5:51 is rendered ‘do not take Jews and Christians as your leaders (pemimpin-pemimpinmu)’.

 

Ibn Kathir, an authoritative medieval commentator on the Qur’an, explained this verse as follows:

 

Allah forbids his believing servants from having Jews and Christians as allies or patrons, because they are the enemies of Islam and its people, may Allah curse them.

 

The immediately preceding verse, 5:50, urges Muslims not to seek the ‘judgment of the time of ignorance’. In explaining this, Ibn Kathir denounces anyone who follows man-made laws instead of laws revealed by Allah. Such a person:

 

is a disbeliever who deserves to be fought against (i.e. to be killed), until he reverts to Allah’s and His Messenger’s decisions, so that no law, minor or major, is referred to except by His Law.

 

Ibn Kathir is insisting that the only valid form of legislation is the Islamic sharia, that only Muslims can rule, and any Muslim who looks to non-Muslims for political or legal direction is an infidel.

 

According to verse 5:51, such a person is already ‘one of them’: in other words, they have to be considered an infidel too, and have apostatized from Islam, for which the penalty is death.

 

The admonition to Muslims not to take non-Muslims, and especially Christians or Jews, as allies or leaders is orthodox, mainstream Islamic teaching.

 

In the light of this, it is disappointing that the Australian Age newspaper’s Indonesian correspondent, Jewel Topsfield, offers the following gloss:

 

some interpret [verse 5:51] as prohibiting Muslims from living under the leadership of a non-Muslim. Others say the scripture should be understood in its context — a time of war — and not interpreted literally.

 

It may be true that a few contemporary moderate voices may say this verse should not be taken literally, but this is certainly not the mainstream view of centuries of Islamic jurisprudence. 

 

The Muslim aversion to non-Muslim political leadership has many out workings around the world.

 

In Egypt Christians make up around 10% of the population, but less than 1.5% of the parliament is Christian. For decades, there had been no Christian governors for any of Egypt’s 27 governorates, until Mubarak appointed Major General Emad Mikhail as governor over Qena. However massive protests broke out after imams preached sermons in Qena mosques teaching that God does not permit Christians to have authority over Muslims. Demonstrators marched the streets crying, ‘A Muslim governor in a Muslim country’ and ‘There is no god but Allah and Christians are the enemies of Allah’

 

The protests led to the governor’s appointment being temporarily suspended in order to reestablish the order.

 

Ahok’s position is difficult. Since his opponents were unable to discredit him politically for being a Christian, they are now upping the ante by accusing him of blasphemy instead, demanding that the state launch legal proceedings against him.

 

In Ahok’s speech, he had brushed aside those who were citing 5:51 against him, saying they were telling lies. In fact, he made no comment on the Qur’an itself, apart from implying that a particular interpretation was false. His offense was to criticize the misuse of the text by others for political purposes. Yet this gave enough leeway for a vast crowd to be inflamed against him.

 

There is a famous hadith or tradition of Muhammad, which states:

 

Whoever sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.

 

This is interpreted by many to mean that a Muslim must use the highest level of force available to remove something evil.

 

The protestors in Jakarta were exercising their religious duty by speaking out against a Christian being in political authority over a 95% Muslim city, using his alleged blasphemy as a trigger point.

 

Some went further than just words, threatening action ‘with the hand’: former terrorist Nasir Abas, turned police consultant, carried a sign saying ‘Punish Ahok or our bullets will’.

 

The phenomenon of Muslims taking political or legal processes into their own hands is widespread.

 

An example was the offer made by Pakistani Imam Maulana Yusuf of a bounty of $6,000 to anyone who would murder Asia Bibi, a young Christian woman on death row for a trumped-up blasphemy offense. Recently Muslim activists have been conducting mass public protests across Pakistan calling for Bibi to be lynched. ‘It will be a war if accursed Asia escapes’, said Mukhtar, one of the protestors in Lahore.

 

Another example comes from the UK in 2009, when Geert Wilders was invited to a private meeting at the House of Lords in London.

 

In response Lord Nazir Ahmed, a Muslim peer, threatened to personally mobilize 10,000 Muslim protestors to physically prevent Wilders from entering the House.

 

Muslims taking the law into their own hands to act against non-Muslims who rise to high political office is not a new phenomenon.

 

Egypt’s only Christian Prime Minister was Boutros Ghali, who served from 1908. He was the grandfather of the former UN Secretary General, Boutros Boutros-Ghali. He was assassinated in 1910 by a European-educated Egyptian Muslim, Ibrahim Nassif Boutros Ghali -Wardani.

 

An example from further back in history was the crucifixion of Joseph Ibn Naghrela, vizier of Granada, by a Muslim mob in 1066, as well as a pogrom against the Jewish population.

 

Although Joseph had been appointed to his high office by a Muslim king, Badis al-Muzaffar, local Muslims resented having a Jew in authority over them.

 

The Muslim jurist Abu Ishaq wrote a diatribe to incite the violence, arguing that non-Muslims’ blood was no longer protected under the terms of their covenant (of surrender), since they had risen to a position of authority over Muslims:

 

Do not consider it a breach of faith to kill them — the breach would be to let them carry on. They have violated our covenant with them, so how can you be held guilty against the violators? How can they have any pact when we are obscure and they are prominent.

 

Indonesia is often held up as a model of a moderate Muslim-majority nation. Its constitution is not Islamic and many Indonesian Muslims espouse moderate views.

 

However, the global Islamist movement has nevertheless made strong inroads in this the most populous Muslim nation.

 

Undoubtedly it will be a landmark test for Indonesia’s tolerance whether Ahok is permitted to continue in office.

 

Those Muslims who are raising both their voices and their hands to protest against him will not be easily silenced.

 

This outbreak of intolerance bodes ill for Indonesia’s future.

 

Governor Ahok is being supported by significant Muslim leaders. GP Ansor, the former chairman of the largest Indonesian Youth organization called the complaints a ‘hoax’, and politician Nusron Wahid stated that Ahok had said nothing to insult Islam.

 

For his part, Governor Ahok has apologized to Muslims, saying, ‘To Muslims who felt insulted, I apologize. I had no intention to insult Islam’.

 

He stated that ‘Religion is a very personal matter and should not be mixed up with public discourse’.

 

However, his Muslim opponents clearly hold a different view about the place of Islam in public life!

 

Ahok is being questioned this week by the police, pending a possible charge of blasphemy.

 

The thought that an Indonesian court might find Ahok guilty of such a charge is troubling.

 

To do so would require proof that Ahok intended to incite hatred against Muslims, defame Islam or incite apostasy.

 

The prosecution might argue that in pooh-poohing the legitimate and well-established Islamic prohibition against non-Muslims taking authority over Muslims, he was denigrating the religion.

 

Even if no charges are laid, Ahok will certainly come under very great political pressure to withdraw his candidacy.

 

In Indonesia, today it is apparently unacceptable to some Muslims that a prominent Christian might express an opinion about what the Qur’an says.

 

Yet the same Muslims claim the right to stridently disallow this Christian candidacy for political office, based on the very same Quranic passage. 

 

This is supremacist reasoning, which incites hatred while denying the object of hatred any voice in the matter.

 

If this intolerance is given credence by the Indonesian police and courts, it bodes very ill indeed for the nation’s future.

 

Yet the greater concern is a question for us all: Does the Islamic sharia permit non-Muslims to live alongside Muslims as equals in one world? 

 

This is a crucial question, not just for Indonesia, but for Europe, for America, indeed for every nation with more than a tiny minority of Muslim citizens.

 

According to the hundreds of thousands protesting in the streets of Jakarta this week, the answer to this question is a resolute and loud ‘No!’
