Thank you for sending a copy of your e-mail.

There are TWO nations living in India. The one whose claim to be a separate nation was accepted & recognized by India’s top leaders, JL Nehru and MK Gandhi, are the MUSLIMS.

On the basis of that assertion and recognition they were conceded a separate exclusive ISLAMIC homeland for which India was forced to surrender FIVE provinces without a single condition being laid.

 

The one condition that was so obvious that even an imbecile would understand. was the EXPULSION of that SECOND NATION from the soil of India after they were conceded their SEPARATE Islamic homeland Pakistan.

It was clear to the whole world, though not to the native HINDUS due to degeneration, degradation and intimidation in the preceding CENTURIES of slavery under the Muslims and later under the British, that Pakistan had NO basis for existence since neither a REFERENDUM was held on the question of Partition nor the Muslims were expelled to their homeland after they had successfully delivered a devastating lethal blow to India like the one given to America on September 11, 2001.

As the world knows, the ethnic minorities in Pakistan were extensively liquidated, brutally massacred and FORCED out of their homes and made to seek refuge and safety in India. Please take this consciously on board.

In order to DIVERT the attention of the nation from his horrendous surrenders, for which he had NO mandate from the nation, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, in collusion with his brother-in-faith and former President of All-INDIA Muslim League, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, created the insoluble KASHMIR problem that has escaped solution till date although it has consumed billions of dollars on armaments and hundreds of thousands of lives.

It is a festering ulcer that is intentionally left open by successive incompetent Indian governments pursuing Nehru’s strategy. What is needed for the cure is what the Chinese did in Tibet after their invasion. Kashmir has been guaranteed her Muslim MAJORITY by a treacherous and incompetent Government of India vide Article 370 of Constitution.

According to it NO Indian, not even their President, can buy any land or property in Kashmir while the Kashmiris can do so freely all over India. If this is not deliberate MISCHIEF of first order by Government of India then what is it?

To confound the tragedy of POLITICS in India her elections are a farce if the same DYNASTY and POLITICAL PARTY have been in absolute power since1947. Where on earth has ONE PARTY lasted so long in power? Even Marshal Stalin could not hand over the Soviet Union to his son nor could Sir Winston Churchill or Dame Margaret Thatcher keep the seat of Prime Minister within their families. So what is happening in India with regard to POLIITICS is a vulgar joke, an insult to common sense and to the whole nation- as well as to democracy.

It is quite easy to further IMPOVERISH and INTIMIDATE the masses and keep them IGNORANT and in bondage by such totalitarian and ruthless regimes like the one in India at present.

 

In 1947 the people of India, who did not understand the implications of conceding Pakistan as well as keeping the Muslims back in India, were at the level of dumb and deaf cattle. For a truly national and patriotic government their FIRST task would have been to EDUCATE the people and raise their awareness to the level of humans. But we can see that LIKE THE CATTLE the whole nation (including their intimidated leaders, silenced scholars and the terrified professors as in the Soviet Union and the “Third Reich”) is lying at the feet of a non descript semi literate female from ITALY who is seen guiding the prime minister with her finger in every aspect of India’s life. Sonia Maino, who has amassed immense wealth through corruption and connections, has become the uncrowned Queen of India, having power over life and death of citizens.

It is an extremely sad reflection on the country called Bharat despite the obscene show of wealth by some corrupt ministers and businessmen in the ever deepening sea of poverty, anger and frustration around them.

Observation also shows this Government to be PARTIAL, favoring the Muslims. For example, the Indian Muslims were granted full sovereignty, including a seat at UNO that is still a dream of India’s 27 Hindu-majority States. EAST Pakistan was conquered by India but promptly returned to the separatist, intolerant ISLAMIC rule in 1972.

In June and November 1984 TENS OF THOUSANDS of Sikhs were shot dead or killed in fake police encounters. Yet the government did not catch or punish the criminals.

The assassins of all the three Gandhis were hanged to death without fail but NO Muslim assassin, killer or murderer has so far been hanged. The world’s most VISIBLE terrorist killer, Ajmal Kasab, is still enjoying his stay in jail as State guest. Previous criminals who exploded bombs in Delhi and Mumbai are at large.

During a peaceful anti corruption demonstration in Ram Lila grounds, Delhi, recently the police came down severely on the protesters and FATALLY injured one woman who died due to her injuries. Yet the government has not apologized or punished the police officers concerned nor even paid any compensation to the relatives of the dead woman.

 

All these and countless more instances show that in the eyes of Government of India HINDU LIFE IS “DIRT CHEAP”, starting with the two million killed within weeks during Partition in 1947 for whom there is as yet no memorial anywhere.

Public anger in India is justified if their government does not act impartially and does not eradicate CORRUPTION and NEPOTISM within their own ranks at the HIGHEST level.

PS:  The man whose birth anniversary falls tomorrow must be much agonized and ASHAMED at the state of affairs in what he called his “AKHAND BHARAT”. His own Congress Party has profusely MISUSED his name. All the so-called GANDHIS, fooling and ruling the people, have NOTHING to do with that simple and honest man who was shot dead for NOT standing up to defend Lahore and Dhaka from the SEPARATIST & INTOLERANT brutes & savages who seem to take delight in hijacking planes, blowing up trains and buses, and killing the innocent Infidels in city centers around the world.

I know that this exercise I am going to launch here also is not very different from the above, yet I am diving into it.

My question to all of you is that in 1947 India got divided; Muslims got their part (it never was their part) of the land that they thought could be their haven for a peaceful life. (Koran teaches them to make all ‘darul al harb’ land to ‘daru al Islam’. They do it since 1400 years. They never are interested in lasting peace.) Right away we (not the Hindus or Sikhs; only the Muslims) started on a footing by going on a rampage killing each other – worst of man’s instinct came to forefront and the best got forgotten, except in some cases where Muslims helped their Hindu neighbors and the vice versa. (Also, some best Muslim friends of Hindus turned their Hindu friends to the Muslim mobs for killing.)

Okay – scores settled (No, it is not settled – no peace has come), we started our lives, Muslims in Pakistan and Hindus in India along with pockets of each other who decided to stay put. Then instead of trying to build our lives, Pakistan invaded Kashmir and the mayhem that has been going on for 64 years started. (Sure, they follow Koran. A Muslim cannot be comfortable as long as there is at least one kafir- non-Muslim.)

Why? (The root cause is the teachings of Koran.)

I have asked this question before and am asking again “How do you justify that Kashmir should be part of Pakistan?” (You say you are asking to the Muslims, but you are posting this to the Hindu group. How so? Why complain to the victims of Islam? Know that Sikhism is an offshoot of the Vedic dharma, and all the principles of Sikhism are found in the Vedic scriptures.)

Every single Pakistani I have met has this notion that India usurped J&K whereas the fact is:

 1. That India stood by and watched Pakistani forces marching towards the Maharaja’s palace to capture him and then coerce him to sign a pact of succession, giving away his kingdom to Pakistan. It was not the people of Kashmir who attacked the Maharaja, it was the Pakistani forces.

2.  Had the people of Kashmir wanted to join Pakistan, they should have risen in revolt and forced the Maharaja’s hand, not the Pakistanis.

Now under these circumstances, are you my friends going to concede that it was an INVASION?

3.   Then India got an SOS from the Maharaja of J&K that he needs help. India replied that their intervention would be considered an invasion also until the Maharaja makes up his mind whether he wants to join India, stay free or join Pakistan. This is the right he had been given by the British, the same as other 514 Princely states, and those who fell within the territory of Pakistan like Bahawalpur joined Pakistan and with the exception of two Hyderabad and Junagadh, all others decided to join India.

So the Maharaja of J&K made up his mind at the last moment, before the Pakistani invaders captured him, to join India. Now it became a part of India and it became India’s duty to protect its territory.

 

Nehru got swayed by Mountbatten to accept ceasefire until the UN conducts by holding Plebiscite (people consultation by voting) as to what should be done. UN laid a few conditions which neither India and nor Pakistan fulfilled and therefore, this option of holding a Plebiscite got scuttled and now it is a dead issue as lot has changed.

As time went by, Pakistan kept on exerting violent pressure to force India to leave Kashmir and India would have none of it. India beat Pakistan in two wars within a period of less than 20 years – Pakistan could afford it since America was equipping it, but India could not since it had to rely on none other than itself. There was no foreign country giving even a rifle to India, forget about Paton Tanks that Pakistan was getting from USA – en graduate.

Then comes the Bangladesh? India helped Bengalis to secede, no doubt about it, but India did not incite them in any shape or form. It is only when Zulfiqar Bhutto who lost the election to Mujibur Rehman, refused to quit and invited Mujib to West Pakistan and put him under arrest, that Bengalis got enraged and sought India’s help. Bengalis organized Mukti Bahini – a resistance movement and maybe India equipped them – I do not know to what extent, but I suspect India did help them. I consider this only “tit for tat” for what Pakistan had put India through by invading twice. Also there was a moral factor – India was helping the oppressed, not the oppressor. If Mujibur Rehman had been elected fairly, why was he denied the right to form his government? That is the democratic way, isn’t it? West Pakistanis could have waited for a few years and in the next election taken over the gov’t, no they decided to send forces to suppress their Bengali Muslim countrymen. Was it not outrageous?

 

Now (I am) coming back to the mainstream of this thought. Pakistan blames India for its own follies and continues with its stubborn behavior. It has tried every tactic in the bag: Fomenting Islamic fundamentalism in Kashmir and sending guerillas there; training the Sikh separatists; committing acts of terror first limited to J&K, and now all over India. But it has not been able to advance its cause one inch.

My question is “how do you justify it all?” (Their justification is in Koran.)

Who is the real culprit? (Koran’s teachings.)

Why can’t Pakistan live in peace? (Because, it follows Koran.)

 What good is J&K to it (Pakistan) when it (Pakistan) could not hold Bengal, (and) is not able to generate progress? (They strive, following Koran, to bring the whole world under Islam and Sharia.)

A lot of collateral damage has accrued as a result of bad governance, which has put Pakistan in dire straits and now it has been compounded by many other problems. Not only is Kashmir beyond Pakistan’s reach, even Balochistan and Sindh are disgruntled – whether they secede or not is a moot point, but unrest will remain forever. Pakistani blame India for lending support to the Balochis, maybe it is true, (but) then why not? If Pakistan follows the way of any enemy, why should not India? (The Vedic desh and people tolerated far way beyond the limit. Now it has to change.)

The unnecessary suffering of the people of Pakistan is the heart breaker. (Does the suffering of the Hindus in their own land caused by the Muslims not break your heart? Did you forget the suffering caused by the Muslims to the Sikh gurus?)  It is not their doing it is the doing of their government which is dominated by the military generals. Therefore, unless the people of Pakistan shed this bad element and say to the army “your job is to protect us, not rule us” no relief is possible. (No peace is possible till they give up Islam. They all are the decedents of the Hindus who, a few centuries ago, were forced to accept Islam.) In India no general has ever sought even an election, forget about thinking of ruling. Military mind is a different kind of mind, and is not a conciliatory type. (A military has to remain under righteous authority.)

So (my Muslim) friends, instead of calling me a hate-monger which I am not, answer my questions. If at times I have written about Islam as a violent religion, it is an outcrop of what the Muslims have been doing to the Hindus for centuries, and do not stop even now. (If you read Koran, you will know how barbaric Islam is. See some quotes on this blog.) All these acts of terrorism, all this J&K campaign, all this training the Sikhs, are the reasons that keep influencing my thinking; otherwise what does it matter to me “how you pray to your God” in whose existence even I have very different views. (Your having different views are a problem to them.) I hate religions (You did not learn about the Vedic dharma, your ancestors’ dharma, from a right authority. If you are a righteous man, you already are practicing Vedic dharma, and you do not know it) and more so the fanatics who chant slogans of imbibing spirituality, but conduct themselves in far worse manner etc.

Neither do I hate Islam (First, read Koran and find reasons, if you could, why you should love it.)  and nor Pakistan – I hate its war and terror-mongering. In fact, I would like to see a prosperous and happy neighbor in Pakistan, because that only is conducive to my own happy living, not a suffering Pakistan but a progressive Pakistan. (And what you wish for your own desh and the Vedics? The Vedic dharma scriptures already have very ancient universal prayers; like

ॐ सहना वव तु सहनौ भुनक्तु

सहवीर्यम् करवावहै

तेजस्विना वदितमस्तु

मा विद्विसावहै

ॐ शान्ति शान्ति शान्तिः॥ )

DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS:  SHOLOM:

 

In the first instance, let me express my gratitude to the organizers of this Rally for having given me an opportunity to express my views.  I really feel honored.

 

We American Hindus are here today to express our support to Eagle’s Wings; and solidarity with Israel.  We should understand in unambiguous terms that Durban III conference by the UN is being used as a strategy by Islamists to condemn, demonize and vilify Israel.  We will not allow their mean and mendacious desire to be fulfilled.

 

This same ploy is also being used by Islamists to pressurize the United Nations to declare caste system in India which was originally based on profession, as a racist system.

 

I am the survivor of the Partition of India in which more than one million Hindus and Sikhs were killed by Radical Islamists and more than 10 million Hindu and Sikh people were forcibly converted to Islam, driven out of Pakistan, and finally ethnically cleansed.  I have seen with my own eyes the reign of repression let loose by Radical Islamists.  I have seen with my own eyes our women being raped and people being murdered in the broad day light in connivance with Islamic government.  Dear brothers and sisters, I have seen the true face of Radical Islam.  Believe me, terrorism is the greatest threat to the humanity.

 

Islamists have already slaughtered tens of thousands of Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, Christians, Sudanese, Buddhists, Baha’i, Ahmadias, Balochis, and even their own Muslims.

 

They are funded by Saudi Arabia and militarily trained by Pakistan’s spy agency ISI.  After training in terrorist camps, they are sent all over the world to kill infidels – those who do not believe in Prophet Mohammed, Allah and Kuran.  The situation is indeed fraught with dangerous consequences.

 

Global onslaught by Radical Islam, with Israel being only one of the canaries in the mine, is going on all over the world.  Bali, Madrid, Mumbai, Thailand, Philippine, New York, Beslan in Russia and New Delhi are the victims of terrorism.  Terrorists are killing our soldiers in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq.  The sinister aim of the Radical Islam is to isolate Israel, India and America.   Hence, we have to be careful so that we do not fall into their trap.

 

In addition to that Hindus in Kashmir and Bangladesh, Coptic Christians in Egypt, Christians in  Bethlehem and Iraq,  Maronites in Lebanon, Kurds in Turkey and Syria, and Southern Sudanese are being slaughtered by Radical Islamists.

 

We support this Rally and join with you in sending our clear message to the United Nations that we will never accept the policies of capitulation and appeasement that undermine the fight against Radical Islam.

The facts about Ram…The story of Shri Rams’ life was first narrated by Maharishi Valmiki in the Ramayana, which was written after Shri Ram was crowned as the king of Ayodhya. Maharishi Valmiki was a great astronomer as he has made sequential astronomical references on important dates related to the life of Shri Ram indicating the location of planets vis-a-vis zodiac constellations and the other stars (nakshatras). Needless to add that similar position of planets and nakshatras is not repeated in thousands of years.

 

By entering the precise details of the planetary configuration of the important events in the life of Shri Ram as given in the Valmiki Ramayan in the software named “Planetarium” corresponding exact dates of these events according to the English calendar can be known. Mr Pushkar Bhatnagar, of the Indian Revenue Service, had acquired this software from the US. It is used to predict the solar/lunar eclipses and distance and location of other planets from earth. He entered the relevant details about the planetary positions narrated by Maharishi Valmiki and obtained very interesting and convincing results, which almost determine the important dates starting from the birth of Shri Ram to the date of his coming back to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. Maharishi Valmiki has recorded in Bal Kaand, sarga 19 and shloka eight and nine (1/18/8,9), that Shri Ram was born on ninth tithi of Chaitra month when the position of different planets vis-a-vis zodiac constellations and nakshatras (visible stars) were: i) Sun in Aries; ii) Saturn in Libra; iii) Jupiter in Cancer; iv) Venus in Pisces; v) Mars in Capricorn; vi) Lunar month of Chaitra; vii) Ninth day after no moon; viii) Lagna as Cancer (cancer was rising in the east); ix) Moon on the Punarvasu (Gemini constellation & Pllux star); x) Day time (around noon). This data was fed into the software. The results indicated that this was exactly the location of planets/stars in the noon of January 10, 5114 BC.

 

Thus, Shri Ram was born on January 10, 5114 BC (7121 years back). As per the Indian calendar, it was the ninth day of Shukla Paksha in Chaitra month and the time was around 12 to 1 noontime. This is exactly the time and date when Ram Navmi is celebrated all over India. Shri Ram was born in Ayodhya. This fact can be ascertained from several books written by Indian and foreign authors before and after the birth of Christ – Valmiki Ramayan, Tulsi Ramayan, Kalidasas’ Raghuvansam, Baudh and Jain literature, etc. These books have narrated in great detail the location, rich architecture and beauty of Ayodhya which had many palaces and temples built all over the kingdom. Ayodhya was located on the banks of the Saryu river with Ganga and Panchal Pradesh on one side and Mithila on the other side.

 

Normally 7,000 years is a very long period during which earthquakes, storms, floods and foreign invasions change the course of rivers, destroy the towns/buildings and alter the territories. Therefore, the task of unearthing the facts is monumental. The present Ayodhya has shrunk in size and the rivers have changed their course about 40 km north/south. Shri Ram went out of Ayodhya in his childhood (13th year as per Valmiki Ramayan) with Rishi Vishwamitra who lived in Tapovan (Sidhhashram). From there he went to Mithila, King Janaks’ kingdom. Here, he married Sita after breaking Shiv Dhanusha.

 

Researchers have gone along the route adopted by Shri Ram as narrated in the Valmiki Ramayan and found 23 places which have memorials that commemorate the events related to the life of Shri Ram. These include Shringi Ashram, Ramghat, Tadka Van, Sidhhashram, Gautamashram, Janakpur (now in Nepal), Sita Kund, etc. Memorials are built for great men and not for fictitious characters. Date of exile of Shri Ram: It is mentioned in Valmiki Ramayans’ Ayodhya Kand (2/4/18) that Dashratha wanted to make Shri Ram the king because Sun, Mars and Rahu had surrounded his nakshatra and normally under such planetary configuration the king dies or becomes a victim of conspiracies.

 

Dashrathas’ zodiac sign was Pisces and his nakshatra was Rewati. This planetary configuration was prevailing on the January 5, 5089 BC, and it was on this day that Shri Ram left Ayodhya for 14 years of exile. Thus, he was 25 years old at that time (5114-5089). There are several shlokas in Valmiki Ramayan which indicate that Shri Ram was 25-years-old when he left Ayodhya for exile. Valmiki Ramayan refers to the solar eclipse at the time of war with Khardushan in later half of 13th year of Shri Rams’ exile. It is also mentioned it was amavasya day and Mars was in the middle. When this data was entered, the software indicated that there was a solar eclipse on October 7, 5077 BC, (amavasya day) which could be seen from Panchvati. The planetary configuration was also the same – Mars was in the middle, on one side were Venus and Mercury and on the other side were Sun and Saturn. On the basis of planetary configurations described in various other chapters, the date on which Ravana was killed works out to be December 4, 5076 BC, and Shri Ram completed 14 years of exile on January 2, 5075 BC, and that day was also Navami of Shukla Paksha in Chaitra month.

 

Thus Shri Ram had come back to Ayodhya at the age of 39 (5114-5075). A colleague, Dr Ram Avtar, researched on places visited by Shri Ram during his exile, and sequentially moved to the places stated as visited by Shri Ram in the Valmiki Ramayan, starting from Ayodhya he went right upto Rameshwaram. He found 195 places which still have the memorials connected to the events narrated in the Ramayana relating to the life of Shri Ram and Sita. These include Tamsa Tal (Mandah), Shringverpur (Singraur), Bhardwaj Ashram (situated near Allahabad), Atri Ashram, Markandaya Ashram (Markundi), Chitrakoot, Pamakuti (on banks of Godavari), Panchvati, Sita Sarovar, Ram Kund in Triambakeshwar near Nasik, Shabari Ashram, Kishkindha (village Annagorai), Dhanushkoti and Rameshwar temple.

 

In Valmiki Ramayan it is mentioned that Shri Rams’ army constructed a bridge over the sea between Rameshwaram and Lanka. After crossing this bridge, Shri Rams’ army had defeated Ravana. Recently, NASA put pictures on the Internet of a man-made bridge, the ruins of which are lying submerged in Palk Strait between Rameshwaram and Sri Lanka. Recently the Sri Lankan Government had expressed the desire to develop Sita Vatika as a tourist spot. Sri Lankans believe this was Ashok Vatika where Ravana had kept Sita as a prisoner (in 5076 BC).

 

Indian history has recorded that Shri Ram belonged to the Suryavansh and he was the 64th ruler of this dynasty. The names and other relevant particulars of previous 63 kings are listed in Ayodhya ka Etihaas written about 80 years ago by Rai Bahadur Sita Ram. Professor Subhash Kak of Lousiana University, in his book, The Astronomical Code of the Rig Veda, has also listed 63 ancestors of Shri Ram who ruled over Ayodhya. Sri Rams’ ancestors have been traced out as: Shri Ram, King Dashratha, King Aja, King Raghu, King Dilip and so on. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Bengal to Gujarat, everywhere people believe in the reality of Shri Rams’ existence, particularly in the tribal areas of Himachal, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the North-East. Most of the festivals celebrated in these areas revolve around the events in the life of Shri Ram and Shri Krishna.  The events and places related to the life of Shri Ram and Sita are true cultural and social heritage of every Indian irrespective of caste and creed. Therefore, it is common heritage.

 

After all, Shri Ram belonged to the period when Prophet Mohammed or Jesus Christ were not born and Muslim or Christian faiths were unknown to the world. The words Hindu (resident of Hindustan) and Indian (resident of India) were synonymous. India was also known as Bharat (land of knowledge) and Aryavarta (where Aryans live) and Hindustan (land of “Hindus” – derived from word Indus). During Ram Rajya, the evils of caste system based on birth were non-existent. In fact, Maharishi Valmiki is stated to be of Shudra class (scheduled caste), still Sita lived with him as his adopted daughter after she was banished from Ayodhya. Luv and Kush grew in his ashram as his disciples.

 

We need to be proud of the fact that Valmiki was perhaps the first great astronomer and that his study of planetary configurations has stood the test of times. Even the latest computer softwares have corroborated his astronomical calculations, which proves that he did not commit any error. Shabri is stated to be belonging to the Bheel tribe. Shri Rams’ army, which succeeded in defeating Ravana, was formed by various tribals from Central and South India. The facts, events and all other details relating to the life of Shri Ram are the common heritage of all the Indians including scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, Muslims, Christians, etc.

 

Prophet Mohammad was born 1,400 years ago. Jesus Christ was born 2,000 years back. Gautam Buddha was born 2,600 years back, whereas Ram was born 7,000 years back. Hence, discovering the details relating to Shri Rams’ life would be lot more difficult as destruction caused by floods, earthquakes and invasions etc., would be far greater. But, should that stop our quest for learning more about our cultural heritage?

 

As Indians, let us all take pride in the fact that the Indian civilisation is the most ancient civilisation today. It is certainly more than 10,000 years old. Therefore, let us reject the story of Aryan invasion in India in 1,500 BC as motivated implantation. In fact Max Mueller, who was the creator of this theory had himself rejected it. Let us admit that during the British Rule, we were educated in the schools based on Macaulay school of thinking which believed that everything Indian was inferior and that entire “Indian literature was not worth even one book rack in England.” If there were similarities in certain features of Indian people and people from Central Europe, then automatic inference drawn was that the Aryans coming from Europe invaded India and settled here. No one dared of thinking in any other way. Therefore, there is urgency for the historians and all other intellectuals to stop reducing Indian history to myth. There is need to gather, dig out, search, unearth and analyse all the evidences, which would throw more light on ancient Indian civilisation and culture. There is need for the print and the electronic media to take note of these facts and create atmosphere which would motivate our young and educated youth to carry out research and unearth true facts about the ancient Indian civilisation and wisdom and would also encourage them to put across the results of their research before the people fearlessly and with a sense of pride!

The hoax of Aryan-Dravidian divide

Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT), which today having been rechristened as Indo – Aryan Migration (IAM) theory (given that the original position is no longer tenable) is the largest myth that was ever propagated by historians with vested interests that still retain vestiges to their Western paymasters. In this post the scope is restricted to visiting Veda samhitas and Tamil literary works from the Sangam period that render the AIT / IAM theories redundant. This post will also show the integrated, continuous nature of the deities that were worshipped from the now parched Saraswati river basin and the Vaigai river basin in Madura, Tamilnadu. We are taking Tamil as representative of Dravidian languages because, unlike the other 3 Southern states, it is in Tamil Nadu that the political and societal idea of Aryan / Dravidian divide is more vocally and visibly pronounced.

Note: We are merely exploring historical and literary traditions here and do not attempt to analyze any method of worship.

The hoax of Aryan-Dravidian divide

Rig Veda does not give even a shred of evidence of any invasion or migration to have taken place from outside or the Rishis of Vedas having been part of expeditions into India from somewhere else. But Indologists and apologists of AIT / IAM use Rig Veda to try to establish their standpoint.

They use the invocation of Indra by Angiras family of Rishis to slay the likes of Dasyus and Panis as evidences that an invading Aryan army slaughtered the aborigines of India that were Dravidians.

Before we move ahead let us establish what Dravida means.

In Sanskrit, it loosely means liquid like or watery. The root word for this is Drava in Sanskrit.

And importantly, in Tamil, the word Dravidian or Dravida hardly gets mentioned in the Sangam literature of Tamils.

The corpus of Sangam literature is the most authentic chronicling of the life, times, theology, events, wars, business, natural calamities, Tamil grammar etc of the Tamils starting from 600 BC to 200 AD. To put it in another way, if hypothetically the invading Aryans pushed the Dravidians South of Vindyas and killed many Dravidians (based on Rig Veda), the earliest Tamil literary works obviously ought to have mentioned the mayhem in the so called Dravidian literary works of the Sangam age.

The Tamil literary works started using the word “Dravida” only in the 9th century AD but that too only in the context of linguistics. And a Tamil lexicon of the 9th century AD called “Senthan Divakaram” uses Dravidam to denote Tamil.

This itself is sufficient to realize that the whole Dravida story is a modern hoax without any historical basis. In fact it was only in late 19th century that Robert Caldwell, a proclaimed evangelist who came to India for sole purpose of proselytization and spreading Christianity, first used the word ‘Dravidian’ to further his agenda. And then the term took political colors. And once politicized, it is always in benefit of all political forces to keep the myth alive so that they can cook their rotis.

The hoax of evidence from Rig Veda

Now, let us move to understanding how the AIT / IAM apologists use Dasyus to claim that invading Aryans slaughtered the so called native Dasyus and let us also explore a few questions. The apologists point to Rig Veda 10/48, where, Indra is seen to have destroyed Dasyus, Vrtras and Panis with his might, captured wealth and also mentions that those in his company will not be felled.

But what the apologists do not delve into is to understand the characterization of the likes of Dasyus , Vrtras and Panis (the last 2 being a kind of Dasyu) in Rig Veda. Who are the Dasyus?

When we look up Rig Veda 1/33/1 – 10, it becomes obvious that the wealth that Indra captures is actually knowledge.

RV/1/33/1 ends with “gavam ketam param avarjate nah”. It means supreme knowledge of the luminous cows. And the whole verse means – come let us go seeking the cows to Indra, it is he that increases the thought in us, for us, he releases supreme knowledge of the luminous cows.

Let us first understand, in Vedas, those that do the Soma pressing or other Vedic sacrifices for divinities are called yajyu. The divinities to whom these sacrifices are offered are called yajata. The yaju by virtue of his goodwill is sukratu. Sukratus by virtue of their works find the “divine word” and having found the divine word, a sukratu becomes the singer of the word.

But Dasyu is the opposite principle of both Sukratu and Yajyu. Dasyu is also called “A”yajyu (opposite of Yajyu).And interestingly an Ayajyu is a hater of the singer of the divine word (this quality is Ayajyu called brahmadvisa) and IMPORTANTLY an Ayajyu is ANASA (has no mouth to speak) and has no mental faculties (Amanyamana). And across the Vedas the Dasyus like Panis and Vritras withhold the kine (the kine are not physical cows and sheep but they point to knowledge) and this kine has to be forcefully extracted with Indra’s help by man. And in another place in RV, it is stated that Panis (a type of Dasyu), plunders and steals the cows and hides them in his cave. With the help of Indra the knowledge, the luminous cows are secured by man. RV/6/51/14 calls Indra to destroy the Panis and equates Panis to wolf.

And let us also look at a few more items that Indra won by destroying Dasyus, as per western indologists.

RV/3/34/7-10:

7 Lord of the brave, Indra who rules the people gave freedom to the Gods by might and battle. Wise singers glorify with chanted praises these his achievements in Vivasvan’s dwelling.

8 Excellent, Conqueror, the victory-giver, the winner of the light and Godlike Waters,He who hath won this broad earth and this heaven, -in Indra they rejoice who love devotions.

9 He gained possession of the Sun and Horses, Indra obtained the Cow who feedeth many.Treasure of gold he won; he smote the Dasyus, and gave protection to the Aryan colour.

10 He took the plants and days for his possession; he gained the forest trees and air’s mid-region.Vala he cleft, and chased away opponents: thus was he tamer of the overweening.

Indra secures forest trees, mid air, plants and days.

Now, if Dasyus were HUMAN non-Aryan tribes, how come Indra secures the DAYS and MID-AIR from mortals?

The allegory of Dasyus continues in the Rig Veda, where, Indra then actually chases Dasyus out of heaven and earth by the power of his thunderbolt. Indra’s greatness keeps increasing and the luminosity of Indra leaves Dayus with nowhere to hide. Indra recovers the lost Sun and as this Sun rises, it illuminates the caves where Vala (a type of Dasyus) has hidden the luminous cows.

So we clearly have a scenario that completely contradicts the possibility of Dasyus ever being Dravidian tribes that Indra destroyed.

The Rig Veda based attempts to prop up the non-existent AIT/IAM falls flat. Rest assured Dravidians (of AIT/IAM) do have noses and are able to speak and are intelligent people unlike the Dasyus of Rig Veda.

Evidence from Sangam Literature

Now let us travel to Tamil / Dravidian land to see if Tamils were really people that were completely different from the so called Aryans and if they showed signs of being brutalized by invading Aryans.

While there are extensive works that fall under the Sangam literature, let us pick some of the most important works to see what the Dravidians worshipped as their deities.

It is important to note that Sangam literature categorizes land into Mullai (forests), Kurinchi (hills), Marudam (Farm lands), Neidal (Sea Coast) and Palai (Barren).

Tolkappaiyam mentions the following as the presiding deities of these lands – Mullai: Tirumal (Vishnu), Kurinchi: Seyon (or Kumara / Murugua/Kartikeya), Marudam: Vendan (Indra), Neidal: Varunan (Varuna) and Palai: Korravai (Shakti).

Another key Sangam literary work called Purananuru talks about the legend of Lord Shiva destroying the three cities (Tripura Samhara). Shiva is said to have taken the lofty Meru mountain in his hand as bow and with the terrific serpent as bow string and a single arrow destroyed the cities sending them into into flames. And the deity of Seyon (Kumara / Kartikeya), is repeatedly seen across Purananuru and Ahananuru as being the progeny of Shiva.

This ties us back to Agni,the Kumara, template of the Puranic  Kartikeya, being an aspect of Rudra.

Some AIT / IAM apologists try to make Shiva to be an exclusive Dravidian deity to keep the theory running.

Shiva of Puranas is derived from aspects of Rudra of Vedas.

In Vedas, if you delve deeper into attributes of Rudra, across Rig Veda or the Rudram / Chamakam sections of Yajur Veda, a common set of attributes is easy to be seen.

And Shiva is all but one aspect of Rudra that is mentioned in Rudram / Chamakam. While the usage of Rudra has been replaced at large by Shiva, the attributes of Vedic Shiva / Rudra and those described in works like Periya Puranam of Tamil literature are the same.

In places like Tiruvannamalai or Chaidmabaram, in addition to Thevaram, Rudram / Chamakam is also recited, if Shiva of Tamils and Shiva or Puranas / Vedas are different.

If anything, the Taittriya Samhita of Yajur Veda (where Rudram / Chamakam occurs) is a tradition that is living primarily in Tamil Nadu, AP and Karataka, today.

Conclusion

From this small attempt to put things in perspective, it is very easy to understand that the AIT/IAM, based on Rig Veda and the premier Tamil Sangam literary works is a farce. If anything, it is easy to see that this great land has been inhabited by people that belong to the same Vedic family.

Differences based on linguistics, skin color, local culture, cuisines etc are being played up by vested interests today, as it were done 150 years ago.

To repeat it, this land was inhabited by followers of the same Vedic Dharma until the early part of last millennium.

P.S: We have not even touched the theological works of Alwars (Vaishnavites) and Nayanmars (Shaivites) to establish the oneness of the Vedic dharma of this land. If one reviews the entire hoax of AIT and Dravida-Arya divide would fall flat as creative fantasies of a drowsy mind after an extra peg!

I am rather Surprised , how  you could praise  the British Rulers  who became our MASTERS BY  DECEIT  & CUNNINGNESS only ( NOT  By their Cleverness/ NOR BRAVERY ) , making us Slaves & ruled over us with iron-hands & Forcibly Converting our Millions  of HINDUS  INTO  CHRISTIANITY  THROUGH  THEIR  ARMY  OF  Christian MISSIONARIES AFTER  1857, PUTTING  OUR  LOCALS  TO BARBARIC  TORTURE  &  DEATH  BY  HANGINGS  ON  EACH  TREES  &  creating Christian Pockets  all over  India ,  like “ISA-GARH” , “MASSIAH NAGAR ” etc, banning  the  entry  of  Hindus  in those areas then ?

 

Whatever the facilities they had  created  in India , were basically , for  their  own men & Smooth  transportation & communication of  their  own British  Forces &  Administrators , though indirectly, we also  benefitted only  after  they were forced to leave  India  owing to the sacrifice & blood of our millions of Krantikaries .

 

Sir !   in 1935, they had separated BURMA  from our India BY AN ACT IN BRITISH  PARLIAMENT  AS  In 1947, out of ONE  INDIA, they had divided our Most  Loving country into :

 

1. East &  West  Pakistan ( present  Pakistan & Bangladesh ).

 

2. Sri Lanka which had majority Tamilians.

 

3. Proctorates of Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan & Sikkim.

 

4. About 569 Princely Totally Independent Indian States, with option to merge  either with India or Pakistan or to remain independent of their own .

 

It was the foresight of our the then Home Minister, Sardar Patel only, who, against Nehru’s wishes , Took UNILATERAL DECISION & who  could force the then those Independent Princely states of the Indian Side to Join Indian Republic peacefully , while  the Princely states on Pakistan side,  were forcibly acquired & amalgamated  into Pakistan .

Out of  these Princely states on Indian side , Bhopal & Jodhpur had joined at the last while Hydrabad & Junagarh opted to remain Independent till we had to resort to “Police Action ” against  Hydrabad  owing to the Barbaric menace of the Hydrabad’s ruler, Nizam’s Razakaars  & His  “Prime Minister” , Kasim Rizvi . When 1st Armored Division was asked to take Police Action against  Hydrabad  in  1948-49, under Direct Orders of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel , Nizam’s Kasim Rizvi had run away to Pakistan, the previous night of the “Police Action” & we had just SEVEN  causalities while fighting Nizam’s Rascal Razakars & rescuing Hindu Women from Nizam’s Harem , Said to be a few  thousand  or said to be precisely about 16,000 forced & tortured Hindu women in his Harem.

 

(SIRS,  the credit  for  Hydrabad’s “POLICE  ACTION” goes to  Arya  Samaj who had launched an agitation against Nawab of Hydrabad  & had made innumerable sacrifices against Nizam . But, AH ! every  sacrifice  of  our forefathers  seem to  be  going  waste as our Governments  have  been  having a Policy of appeasement specially towards  this state & J&K ).

 

As happened in the case of Kasim Rizvi, the Nawab of Junagarh had run away to Pakistan thereafter .  While  the Nawab of  Bhopal  toed the Lines of Sardar Patel, the Nawab of Rampur  was a perpetual nuisance  even  till date  but Nehru Did  Nothing Nor allowed Sardar Patel to take  any strong action against  Nawab of Rampur  as on the face ,he had amicably merged his state with India.

 

In case of Jodhpur, the Hindu Ruler wanted to remain Independent with the support of the departed British Rulers &  when Sardar Patel’s ( our India’s )  Emissary, Mr. KPS  Menon  put  forward Government of India’s proposal, the said  Ruler had brought out his own personal  Pistol & wanted to shoot  him on the spot but  Mr. KPS MENON  was able  to convince that Ruler of Jodhpur ( While  the ruler’s Pistol was still being pointed on him ) that if he joins  India , he could get a much better deal from Sardar Patel than siding with the British or enemy country, Pakistan as in the later case he will be forced to embrace ISLAM.

Besides Jodhpur , Sardar Patel,  had similar several Hurdles in convincing those independent rulers on Indian side  who  joined  India  only  on the Written  Promise of HEFTY  PRIVY  PURSES , though subsequently  these rulers , who were all the time  siding with the British , majority of them , have still become our rulers by PROXY  as they themselves got elected as MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT , like Digvijay Singh,  V P Singh & others  as the Real Krantikaries were already killed by the British Rulers & the real Satyagrahies were wanting NOTHING at all, hence , such low level Intelligent people  with their perpetual “CHAMCHAGIRI” are still ruling over  us : earlier they were doing Chamchagiri to the British , now  to another person of Foreign Origin. Thus  we are still NOT  out of Slavery yet.

जन गण मन की कहानी

 

– कितना सच कितना झूठ -क्या हैगए और 1911 में दिल्ली को राजधानी घोषित कर दिया। पूरे भारत में उस समय लोग विद्रोह से भरे हुए थे तो अंग्रेजो ने अपने इंग्लॅण्ड के राजा को भारत आमंत्रित किया ताकि लोग शांत हो जाये। इंग्लैंड का राजा जोर्ज पंचम 1911 में भारत में आया। रविंद्रनाथ टैगोर पर दबाव बनाया गया कि तुम्हे एक गीत जोर्ज पंचम के स्वागत में लिखना ही होगा।

उस समय टैगोर का परिवार अंग्रेजों के काफी नजदीक हुआ करता था, उनके परिवार के बहुत से लोग ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी के लिए काम किया करते थे, उनके बड़े भाई अवनींद्र नाथ टैगोर बहुत दिनों तक ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी के कलकत्ता डिविजन के निदेशक (Director) रहे। उनके परिवार का बहुत पैसा ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी में लगा हुआ था। और खुद रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर की बहुत सहानुभूति थी अंग्रेजों के लिए। रविंद्रनाथ टैगोर ने मन से या बेमन से जो गीत लिखा उसके बोल है “जन गण मन अधिनायक जय हे भारत भाग्य विधाता”। इस गीत के सारे के सारे शब्दों में अंग्रेजी राजा जोर्ज पंचम का गुणगान है, जिसका अर्थ समझने पर पता लगेगा कि ये तो हकीक़त में ही अंग्रेजो की खुशामद में लिखा गया था।

इस राष्ट्रगान का अर्थ कुछ इस तरह से होता है “भारत के नागरिक, भारत की जनता अपने मन से आपको भारत का भाग्य विधाता समझती है और मानती है। हे अधिनायक (Superhero) तुम्ही भारत के भाग्य विधाता हो। तुम्हारी जय हो ! जय हो ! जय हो ! तुम्हारे भारत आने से सभी प्रान्त पंजाब, सिंध, गुजरात, मराठा मतलब महारास्त्र, द्रविड़ मतलब दक्षिण भारत, उत्कल मतलब उड़ीसा, बंगाल आदि और जितनी भी नदिया जैसे यमुना और गंगा ये सभी हर्षित है, खुश है, प्रसन्न है , तुम्हारा नाम लेकर ही हम जागते है और तुम्हारे नाम का आशीर्वाद चाहते है। तुम्हारी ही हम गाथा गाते है। हे भारत के भाग्य विधाता (सुपर हीरो ) तुम्हारी जय हो जय हो जय हो। ”

जोर्ज पंचम भारत आया 1911 में और उसके स्वागत में ये गीत गाया गया। जब वो इंग्लैंड चला गया तो उसने उस जन गण मन का अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद करवाया। क्योंकि जब भारत में उसका इस गीत से स्वागत हुआ था तब उसके समझ में नहीं आया था कि ये गीत क्यों गाया गया और इसका अर्थ क्या है। जब अंग्रेजी अनुवाद उसने सुना तो वह बोला कि इतना सम्मान और इतनी खुशामद तो मेरी आज तक इंग्लॅण्ड में भी किसी ने नहीं की। वह बहुत खुश हुआ। उसने आदेश दिया कि जिसने भी ये गीत उसके (जोर्ज पंचम के) लिए लिखा है उसे इंग्लैंड बुलाया जाये। रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर इंग्लैंड गए। जोर्ज पंचम उस समय नोबल पुरस्कार समिति का अध्यक्ष भी था।

उसने रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर को नोबल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित करने का फैसला किया। तो रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर ने इस नोबल पुरस्कार को लेने से मना कर दिया। क्यों कि गाँधी जी ने बहुत बुरी तरह से रविन्द्रनाथ टेगोर को उनके इस गीत के लिए खूब डांटा था। टैगोर ने कहा की आप मुझे नोबल पुरस्कार देना ही चाहते हैं तो मैंने एक गीतांजलि नामक रचना लिखी है उस पर मुझे दे दो लेकिन इस गीत के नाम पर मत दो और यही प्रचारित किया जाये क़ि मुझे जो नोबेल पुरस्कार दिया गया है वो गीतांजलि नामक रचना के ऊपर दिया गया है। जोर्ज पंचम मान गया और रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर को सन 1913 में गीतांजलि नामक रचना के ऊपर नोबल पुरस्कार दिया गया।

रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर की ये सहानुभूति ख़त्म हुई 1919 में जब जलिया वाला कांड हुआ और गाँधी जी ने लगभग गाली की भाषा में उनको पत्र लिखा और कहा क़ि अभी भी तुम्हारी आँखों से अंग्रेजियत का पर्दा नहीं उतरेगा तो कब उतरेगा, तुम अंग्रेजों के इतने चाटुकार कैसे हो गए, तुम इनके इतने समर्थक कैसे हो गए ? फिर गाँधी जी स्वयं रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर से मिलने गए और बहुत जोर से डाटा कि अभी तक तुम अंग्रेजो की अंध भक्ति में डूबे हुए हो ? तब जाकर रविंद्रनाथ टैगोर की नीद खुली। इस काण्ड का टैगोर ने विरोध किया और नोबल पुरस्कार अंग्रेजी हुकूमत को लौटा दिया। सन 1919 से पहले जितना कुछ भी रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर ने लिखा वो अंग्रेजी सरकार के पक्ष में था और 1919 के बाद उनके लेख कुछ कुछ अंग्रेजो के खिलाफ होने लगे थे।

रविन्द्र नाथ टेगोर के बहनोई, सुरेन्द्र नाथ बनर्जी लन्दन में रहते थे और ICS ऑफिसर थे। अपने बहनोई को उन्होंने एक पत्र लिखा था (ये 1919 के बाद की घटना है) । इसमें उन्होंने लिखा है कि ये गीत ‘जन गण मन’ अंग्रेजो के द्वारा मुझ पर दबाव डलवाकर लिखवाया गया है। इसके शब्दों का अर्थ अच्छा नहीं है। इस गीत को नहीं गाया जाये तो अच्छा है। लेकिन अंत में उन्होंने लिख दिया कि इस चिठ्ठी को किसी को नहीं दिखाए क्योंकि मैं इसे सिर्फ आप तक सीमित रखना चाहता हूँ लेकिन जब कभी मेरी म्रत्यु हो जाये तो सबको बता दे। 7 अगस्त 1941 को रबिन्द्र नाथ टैगोर की मृत्यु के बाद इस पत्र को सुरेन्द्र नाथ बनर्जी ने ये पत्र सार्वजनिक किया, और सारे देश को ये कहा क़ि ये जन गन मन गीत न गाया जाये।

1941 तक कांग्रेस पार्टी थोड़ी उभर चुकी थी। लेकिन वह दो खेमो में बट गई। जिसमे एक खेमे के समर्थक बाल गंगाधर तिलक थे और दुसरे खेमे में मोती लाल नेहरु थे। मतभेद था सरकार बनाने को लेकर। मोती लाल नेहरु चाहते थे कि स्वतंत्र भारत की सरकार अंग्रेजो के साथ कोई संयोजक सरकार (Coalition Government) बने। जबकि गंगाधर तिलक कहते थे कि अंग्रेजो के साथ मिलकर सरकार बनाना तो भारत के लोगों को धोखा देना है। इस मतभेद के कारण लोकमान्य तिलक कांग्रेस से निकल गए और उन्होंने गरम दल बनाया। कोंग्रेस के दो हिस्से हो गए। एक नरम दल और एक गरम दल।

गरम दल के नेता थे लोकमान्य तिलक जैसे क्रन्तिकारी। वे हर जगह वन्दे मातरम गाया करते थे। और नरम दल के नेता थे मोती लाल नेहरु (यहाँ मैं स्पष्ट कर दूँ कि गांधीजी उस समय तक कांग्रेस की आजीवन सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे चुके थे, वो किसी तरफ नहीं थे, लेकिन गाँधी जी दोनों पक्ष के लिए आदरणीय थे क्योंकि गाँधी जी देश के लोगों के आदरणीय थे)। लेकिन नरम दल वाले ज्यादातर अंग्रेजो के साथ रहते थे। उनके साथ रहना, उनको सुनना, उनकी बैठकों में शामिल होना। हर समय अंग्रेजो से समझौते में रहते थे। वन्देमातरम से अंग्रेजो को बहुत चिढ होती थी। नरम दल वाले गरम दल को चिढाने के लिए 1911 में लिखा गया गीत “जन गण मन” गाया करते थे और गरम दल वाले “वन्दे मातरम”।

नरम दल वाले अंग्रेजों के समर्थक थे और अंग्रेजों को ये गीत पसंद नहीं था तो अंग्रेजों के कहने पर नरम दल वालों ने उस समय एक हवा उड़ा दी कि मुसलमानों को वन्दे मातरम नहीं गाना चाहिए क्यों कि इसमें बुतपरस्ती (मूर्ति पूजा) है। और आप जानते है कि मुसलमान मूर्ति पूजा के कट्टर विरोधी है। उस समय मुस्लिम लीग भी बन गई थी जिसके प्रमुख मोहम्मद अली जिन्ना थे। उन्होंने भी इसका विरोध करना शुरू कर दिया क्योंकि जिन्ना भी देखने भर को (उस समय तक) भारतीय थे मन,कर्म और वचन से अंग्रेज ही थे उन्होंने भी अंग्रेजों के इशारे पर ये कहना शुरू किया और मुसलमानों को वन्दे मातरम गाने से मना कर दिया। जब भारत सन 1947 में स्वतंत्र हो गया तो जवाहर लाल नेहरु ने इसमें राजनीति कर डाली। संविधान सभा की बहस चली। संविधान सभा के 319 में से 318 सांसद ऐसे थे जिन्होंने बंकिम बाबु द्वारा लिखित वन्देमातरम को राष्ट्र गान स्वीकार करने पर सहमति जताई।

बस एक सांसद ने इस प्रस्ताव को नहीं माना। और उस एक सांसद का नाम था पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरु। उनका तर्क था कि वन्दे मातरम गीत से मुसलमानों के दिल को चोट पहुचती है इसलिए इसे नहीं गाना चाहिए (दरअसल इस गीत से मुसलमानों को नहीं अंग्रेजों के दिल को चोट पहुंचती थी)। अब इस झगडे का फैसला कौन करे, तो वे पहुचे गाँधी जी के पास। गाँधी जी ने कहा कि जन गन मन के पक्ष में तो मैं भी नहीं हूँ और तुम (नेहरु ) वन्देमातरम के पक्ष में नहीं हो तो कोई तीसरा गीत तैयार किया जाये। तो महात्मा गाँधी ने तीसरा विकल्प झंडा गान के रूप में दिया “विजयी विश्व तिरंगा प्यारा झंडा ऊँचा रहे हमारा”। लेकिन नेहरु जी उस पर भी तैयार नहीं हुए।

नेहरु जी का तर्क था कि झंडा गान ओर्केस्ट्रा पर नहीं बज सकता और जन गन मन ओर्केस्ट्रा पर बज सकता है। उस समय बात नहीं बनी तो नेहरु जी ने इस मुद्दे को गाँधी जी की मृत्यु तक टाले रखा और उनकी मृत्यु के बाद नेहरु जी ने जन गण मन को राष्ट्र गान घोषित कर दिया और जबरदस्ती भारतीयों पर इसे थोप दिया गया जबकि इसके जो बोल है उनका अर्थ कुछ और ही कहानी प्रस्तुत करते है, और दूसरा पक्ष नाराज न हो इसलिए वन्दे मातरम को राष्ट्रगीत बना दिया गया लेकिन कभी गया नहीं गया। नेहरु जी कोई ऐसा काम नहीं करना चाहते थे जिससे कि अंग्रेजों के दिल को चोट पहुंचे, मुसलमानों के वो इतने हिमायती कैसे हो सकते थे जिस आदमी ने पाकिस्तान बनवा दिया जब कि इस देश के मुसलमान पाकिस्तान नहीं चाहते थे, जन गण मन को इस लिए तरजीह दी गयी क्योंकि वो अंग्रेजों की भक्ति में गाया गया गीत था और वन्देमातरम इसलिए पीछे रह गया क्योंकि इस गीत से अंगेजों को दर्द होता था।

As the seeds of herbs and trees are carried to distant places by wind and birds, so in ancient times mankind and culture spread over the world through the tides of great Indian and Pacific oceans. The Hindus were mighty navigators and pioneers of culture centuries before Columbus was born. They established their cultural empires in Java, Bali, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines, Cambodia, Champa, Annam and Siam and ruled there until after the 14th century. Evan today Cambodia’s King bears the title of the great Varman rulers of India, and Bali has a Hindu Raja. Hindu migration to America was vigorous from the first to the twelfth century A.D.

Cambodia, the ancient Kamboja, was one of the earliest to receive the culture of India. The name of its river Me Kong was derived from Ma Ganga (mother Ganges). In the first century A.D. a Brahman called Kaundinya came to Kamboja from Kanchi, the capital of Pallava kings in South India, married the Kamboja Princess Soma and was elected king of the country. Champa, at present Vietnam, figures prominently in the story of India’s cultural expansion. Vietnam was the footboard for the pilgrims to America. A prince of Kalinga (Orissa) founded the Hindu State of Java in the first century A. D. Java is the ancient Yava Dveepa mentioned in the Ramayana and other Sanskrit texts. Bali Dveepa is still a stronghold of Hinduism. Borneo is the ancient Suvarna Dveepa or Sri Vijaya. On the Indonesian national flag still flutters our Garuda. From Angkor Vat to America Hinduism and its gods and temples have left their imprint. Siam was the centre of Hindu culture for centuries and boasts of rulers with names such as Rama, Praja Deepak and Dharmaraja. The same pioneers of culture who ruled such large areas in the Pacific for fourteen centuries also went to far off Mexico and Peru and established cultural empires.
Ship-building

Indian ship-building had developed at least 2000 years ago and according to Dr. Ekholm, Director of the Museum of Natural History in New York, and Dr. Robert Heine Geldern, there appears to be little doubt that ship-building and navigation were sufficiently advanced in southern and eastern Asia at the period in question to have made trans-Pacific voyages possible. As early as the time of Ptolemy in the second century A. D., Indian ships sailed to the Malayan Peninsula and Indonesia not eastwise but across the Bay of Bengal. In the third century horses were exported from India to the Malayan Peninsula and Indo-China on indication that there must have been ship of of considerable size.When the Chinese Buddhist scholar Fattein return from India around A.D. 400 he embarked on a ships which carried more than 200 sailors and merchants and which therefore must have been larger than the ships of Columbus and early Spanish explorers.””Ships of that size able to cross the Indian Ocean and the China Sea with their dangerous cyclones could certainly cross the Pacific as well.””According to French and British historians the Hindus excelled in the art of constructing ships and for centuries the British and the French borrowed from the Hindus many improvements in the naval architecture.
Only two authorities will suffice:

“”In ancient times the Indians excelled in the art of constructing vessels, and the present Hindus can, in this respect, still offer models to Europe, so much so that the English, attentive to everything which relates to naval architecture, have borrowed from the Hindus many improvements which they have adopted with success to their own shipping. The Indian vessels unite elegance and utility, and are models of patience and fine workmanship.”” (Les Hindus- P. 181).

“”Indian vessels are so admirably adapted to the purpose for which they are required that, notwithstanding their superior science, Europeans were unable, during an intercourse with India for two centuries , to suggest or to bring into successful practice one improvement.”” (Sir John Malcolm, Journal of Royal Asiatic Society, Vol. 1)
Astec Calendar

The fact that the Hindus were capable of sailing to far off countries like Mexico and Peru is proved by the official historien of Mexico, who in his book published by the Mexican Foreign Office.

“”Those who first arrived on the continent later to be known as America were groups of men driven by that mighty current that set out from India towards the east.””

The U. S. Ambassador Miles Poindexter states in his book The Ayar-Incas that primitive Aryan words and people came to America especially from Indo-Arya by the island chains of Polynesia. The very name of the boat in Mexico is a South Indian (Tamil) word: Catamaran.

After 17 years of research I can now claim to have proved my theory of Hindu colonisation of America. The stones in every corner of America speak of Hindu influences.

Let us begin with the Astec calendar known as the Astec Chakra of the Hindu Astronomers. It is the foundation stone of Hindu culture in America. The ancient Americans believe in the four Hindu ages (Yugas or cycles). This Astec calendar (of Hindu origin) depicts the Hindu ages of the world. Mackenzie, author of Myths of Pre-Columbian America, says, “”The doctrine of the world’s ages (Hindu Yugas) was imported into pre-Columbian America. The Mexican sequence is identical with the Hindus. It would be ridiculous to assert that such a strange doctrine was of spontaneous origin in different parts of old and new worlds.”” The very sculpture of the Sun in this calendar bears the imprint of India.
Game of Pachisi

Witness the complicated game of Pachisi as it is played in India and Mexico. Seventy years ago Edward Taylor pointed out that the ancient Mexican game of Patolli was similar in its details to the game of Pachisi played in India and the whole region of Southern Asia. “”It seems clear,”” he wrote, “”that the Mexican game must have come from Asia.”” Subsequently Stewart Culin showed that even the cosmic meaning of the Mexican game, its relation to the four quarters of the world and to the calendars ascribed to them was essentially the same as in Pachisi. Dr. Kroeber, leading anthroplogist of California, observes that “”the mathematical probability of two games invented separately, agreeing by chance in so many specific features, is very low. The close correspondence between the rules of the two games indicates a real connection.”” Dr. Kroeber however could not find more evidence to link India with America and decided to leave the issue unsolved expressing the hope that fuller and more accurate knowledge would some day solve the dilemma. Dr. Robert Heine Geldern, the famous anthropologist of Vienna, and Dr. Gordon F. Ekholm have now presented enough evidence to support the thesis that Americans had definite cultural links with the people of South-East Asia at least 2000 years ago.

The Lotus Motif

Their researches in the last three years support the theses. I presented 26 years ago in my book Hindu America. They begin with the lotus in India and Mexico. (Lotus is one of the most sacred symbols of India. Hinduism is essentially embodied in the lotus. One of the most frequent motifs of early Indian art is the lotus plant.) The same kind of lotus motif occurs in America at Chichen Itza (Mexico) as a border in the reliefs of the lower room of the Temple of the Tigers. “”It is certainly remarkable that in India as well as in Middle America, the rhizome, a part of the plant not normally visible because it is submerged and deeply buried in mud should have been the basic element of a whole motif and, moreover, be stylized in the same unrealistic manner as an undulating creeper.”” The two learned anthroplogists are definitely of the view that “” such a combination of highly specific details cannot be accidental. It suggests the existence of some kind of relationship between Maya art and not only Buddhist art in general but the school of Amravati of the second century A. D. in particular.””

The most obtrusive factor in the customs and beliefs of the Maya civilization according to experts is unquestionably Indian. Maya architecture bears unmistakable seal of Hindu architecture as you can see from the picture of Maya palaces and temples.

Atlantean figures appear in India in the second century B. C. They played an important role in Indian art and are found even on very recent Siamese temple. In America they can be seen at Thula in Central Mexico and Chichen Itza. Gods and ceremonial figures standing on crouched human figures are found in India from the second century B. C. onwards. In Central America they occurred in many Maya sculptures, especially at Palenque. From Sanchi to Central America the pattern is similar.

Those anthropologists who until yesterday completely denied any contact between ancient America and Asia are much perturbed today to find that their so-called ‘cross’ of Palenque (Mexico) is no longer a cross but an exact copy of the Hindu Tree of Life on Mount Meru (Sumeru), the mythological centre of the world. A representation of the Hindu Tree of Life is presented in a shadow play from Java. This depicts the Hindu celestial tree on Mount Meru. This Javanese specimen and the so-called Mexican cross have the same demonic figure in the centre and branches of the tree are clearly visible even to a layman. Javanese specimens are of course recent but the fact that the motif appears in an already highly conventionalised among the reliefs of Angkor Vat in Cambodia about the middle of the 12th century indicates that it must be of considerable antiquity. We find stairways flanked by serpent-balustrades in South-East Asia and Middle America. The use of half columns flanking the doors and of groups of small columns set in panels in characteristic of Cambodian architecture. Highly similar combinations appear in certain Maya buildings.

Common Ceremonial

Most of you in India are familiar with the Charak Puja ceremonial observed in Bengal and several States in South India. This Hindu Ceremonial also observed in Mexico historian call it the mexicon and peru. The Spanish Valador ritual. A relief of Bayon central temple of Angkor Thom in Cambodia represents a rite similar to the Mexico Valador. The use of parasol (Chhatra) is an age-old sign of royalty and rank in India, Burma, China and Japan. The Maya Astec and the Incas also used it as a sign of royalty. Frescoes of Chak Multum in Yucatan show two types of parasols both of which correspond to types still in use in South-East Asia.

In reading descriptions of the palace and court of the Astec emperors of Mexico, any one familiar with South-East Asia cannot fail to be reminded of the courts of Burma, Siam and Cambodia. The same applied to the form of government. Thus the institution of four chief officials in Mexico and Peru corresponds to the four ministers of state and Governors of the four quarters of the Kingdom in Hindu Buddist empires of South-East Asia. In both cases this institution is based on cosmological principles. This indicates similar pictorial story of the Hindu Buddist origins in the field of art, religious architecture, government, kingship, cosmology and mythology proves close cultural contacts between ancient India and countries of South-East Asia with the countries of Central and South America. Dr. Robert Gelern and Dr. Ekholm have come to the following conclusion:

“”The large number of highly specific correspondences in so many fields precludes any reponsibility of mere accidental coincidence nor would it help us to take refuge in any kind of explanation based on some alleged psychological laws. There is no psychologial law which could have caused the peoples on both sides of the Pacific to stylize the lotus plant in the same manner and to make it surge from the mouth of a jawless demon’s head, to invent the parasol and use it as a sign of rank and to invent the same complicated game (Pachisi). There is no explanation other than the assumption of cultural relationship. We must bow to the evidence of facts even tough this may mean a completely new start in our appraisal of the origin and development of the American Indian higher civilizations.””

The Ayar Rulers

The use of throne, the litre and of fans mounted standard like on long poles as insignia of rank and royalty in the countries of Central and South America bears the strong imprint of India. It may be observed here that the last Ayar ruler of Peru was carried in his palanquin on the day the Spaniards invaded Peru. His turban with the plume and his Mudra of the hand are unmistakable proofs of his Hindu origin. His four Ranis performed Sati after he was murdered by the Spaniards. A hundred Ayar rulers ruled Peru.

The Mexican national throne preserved in the National Museum of Mexico bears the typical Hindu Buddist disc of the Sun. The Mexicans also had the Hindu Simhasan (Lion throne). A scene of Buddha-Sangh as preserved in a relief temple in Java has its parallel in the famous pyramid temple in Piedras Negras, Guatemala. This is the finest piece of Maya sculpture in America. Is has no real incidence in Maya Arts history but it does have a remarkable similarity to a number of “”Life of Buddha reliefs”” of the Boro Budur in Java. There is no way of knowing what the subject matter of the American relief might be but the composition with the placing of the figures on several levels is very similar to the one in Java.

Images of Gods

India has the reputation to be the land of gods but Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Bolivia and Honduras had more gods and richer temples than we had in India at any time. Shiva, Ganesha, Indra, the Sun, Hanuman, Vishnu and his tortoise incarnation (Kurma Avatar) were some of the Hindu gods worshipped in central and South America. I present to you the galaxy of our Gods preserved in the museums of America. Here you can see Shiva, Ganesha and even his rat from the Inca mythology in Peru, Ganesha from the temple of Diego Riviera in Mexico City, various images of Hanuman and Shiva from the Guatemala Museum, Shiva Linga from Vera Cruz in Mexico City. The Mexican Vishnu in spite of his Mexican features can be easily recognised from the mace (Gada) and Chakra that he holds in his two hands. The image of Vishnu’s tortoise incarnation preserved by the United Fruit Line in the museum at Quiragua, Guatemala, is the greatest puzzle for anthropologists. They have named this image as the Turtle Stone although any one familiar with Hindu mythology can see that it is Vishnu’s Kurma Avatar (Tortoise incarnation). Indra is preserved in the Mexican National Museum as well as Vaman Avatar called the Diving God. There are two images of this Hindu God, one from Bali and the other from Mexico.

Hindu Rituals

The largest temple in Mexico City was the temple of Lord Shiva, the War God of the Mexican whom the Spanish invaders found entwined by golden snakes. This temple was built in the 15th century and had 3000 Deva-Dasis to perform religious ceremonials. The Mexican temple had the Gopuram style. Here you see a reconstruction of the same after it was destroyed by the Spaniards. The temples at Tikal in Mexico also bore the imprint of our famous temple at Madura. No wonder E. G. Squire in his American archaeological researches in 1851 wrote:

“”It is believed a proper examination of these monuments would disclose the fact that in their interior structure as well as in their exterior form and obvious purposes these buildings correspond with great exactness to those of Hindustan and the Indian Archipelago.

“”Sir Stamford Raflles wrote, “”The great temple of Borobudur might readily be mistaken for a Central American Temple.

“”From child-birth to cremation and Sati the Astecs observed almost all Hindu rituals including the Gurukula system of education followed in India. The Incas of Peru with Ayar Brahman ancestry observed the sacred thread ceremony, the ear-piercing ceremony all other Hindu rituals and rigidly observed the caste systems of India. It is not without reason that the Spanish author Lopez says in his book Le Races Aryans de Peru : “”Every page of peruvian poetry bears the imprint of Ramayana and Mahabharata.””

Sanskrit was the sacred language of the rulers and quichua the language of Peruvians. The Aryo-Quichua vocabulary prepared by Lopez proves it.

The three books have one thing in common — that Partition was one of the most tragic moments in the history of the entire humanity, says Saradindu Mukherji

In his book, Partition, Bengal and After: The Great Tragedy of India, Kali Prasad Mukhopadhaya, a refugee from East Pakistan, provides a detailed eyewitness account of the horrible sufferings of Hindus, including his own family, after Partition — from the barbarism of Noakhali to major pogroms of 1947-48, 1950 and 1964. The book also tells us several grim stories, including the 1971 genocide of 300,000 people and the ongoing Arabisation/Islamisation in that country. He surveys the mass exodus of harassed Bangladeshi Hindus to India, the illegal immigration of Muslims from Bangladesh, the growing number of madarsas, and their demographic consequences.

Mukhopadhaya shows the tragedy of Trailokynath Chakrabarty (‘Maharaj’), a revolutionary, who had spent 30 years in British jails (Andaman and Mandalay), and then suffered humiliation in East Pakistan. He tells us the story of freedom fighters like Pravash Chandra Lahiry and communist leader Ila Mitra who were tortured in East Pakistani jails, like thousand other Hindus. The ongoing genocide of the Jumma people (Chakmas/Buddhists) in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, along with Christians, is also mentioned.

In the second book, The Great Calcutta Killings and Noakhali Massacre, Dinesh Sinha and Ashok Dasgupta write, with personal experience, about the Great Calcutta Killings (1946), and the pogrom unleashed on Hindus in Noakhali and Tipperah districts.

Before the Muslim League’s call for ‘Direct Action’ in Calcutta, “Bengal Muslim leaders were sharpening their weapons for jihad in Bengal”. League leader Abul Hashim had warned that “shining steel would decide the day”, while Khawaja Nazimuddin proclaimed that the Muslim League was no believer of non-violence” and it had 150 ways of causing “trouble”. Inspiring their followers with their ideology of massacring “others”, making mohalla-wise preparations, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy and Osman (Mayor) arranged coupons for petrol for their volunteer-assassins.

A state-sponsored attack was let loose on Hindus with help from mosques and butchers’ shops, without harming any European establishment. Muslim policemen were blatantly partisan, and Governor Frederick Burrows lent full support to this jihad. Hindus hit back late. One of the tragic victims of this pogrom was the son of Sir Jadunath Sarkar.

Hindus in six police stations — Raipur, Lakshmipur, Ramganj, Begamganj, Senbag and Sandwip — suffered immensely at the hands of local Muslims. Muslim League leader Pir Golam Sarwar led the “holy” ulema to unleash loot, murder, rape and forced conversion of about 150,000 Hindus to Islam and forced marriage (nikah) of Hindu women. Desecration of Hindu temples and deities were extensively reported. When Mahatma Gandhi visited Noakhali, all was over.

Some editing glitches apart, the extensive eyewitness accounts, official reports, letters, debates in the legislative assemblies, petitions from the traumatised Hindus and photographs make the book an authentic but painful account.

The third book — originally in Urdu — written by Anis Kidwai, deals with the Hindu-Muslim relations in and around Delhi in 1947. And, in the 70 pages added by the translator — Ayesha Kidwai — there are references to “many pogroms witnessed in independent India”, including the post-Godhra Gujarat violence. She, however, ignores Hindu sufferings in independent India — from West Bengal and Assam in the east to Kashmir in the west.

The personal tragedy — Anis Kidwai’s husband was murdered — had more do with the “vested interest” than the communal factor, as she accepts. This fact is, however, smothered by the translator’s/writer’s communal preferences, but that’s expected in a work inspired by the likes of Gyanendra Pandey, Ramachandra Guha and Mushirul Hasan.

Any work on Partition, and the consequent human tragedy, must begin with the core idea of intolerance and its theological sanction — jihad, momin, kafir, katle aam, dar-ul-Islam and dar-ul harb. North India, particularly Delhi, was a prime witness of such doctrines being ferociously implemented, as it saw the destruction of 27 Hindu/Jain temples and the construction of the Quwwat-ul mosque at that place. The destruction of these temples and the accompanying mayhem must be the beginning of what the author calls the act of “demolishing of our past”, and not just a few sporadic cases of attacks on Muslim sacred spaces in the Capital.

What’s also ignored is the fact that the disturbances in Delhi were used in Pakistan as an excuse to decimate minorities in West Pakistan. Hindu/Sikh refugees never went back to their original homeland in Pakistan, while many Muslims returned to Delhi subsequently. Many new Muslim settlements have sprung up in Delhi, forming about 13 per cent of its population. Fresh Hindu/Sikh settlement is unthinkable in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
