Media and trouble makers thrive on mischief. Everyday, Kashmir is in the news, and its usually portrayed maliciously by many of these elements that India is inhuman, steeped in illegality and is evil.

First the facts.

As per international law, all of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. This was effected by the treaty of accession signed between the Maharaja of Kashmir and India on 27th Oct 1947.

1. Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh consists of 22 districts, separatist are present only in 5 districts – which represents a mere 15% of the state, and they are all Sunni Muslim. The voices and faces you see on television like Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Yasin Malik, Shabbir Shah, Gilani, Asiya Andrabi and Lone are from this region and sect.
2. The state has 12% Shia Muslims, 12-14% Gujjar Muslims and 8% Pahadi Rajput Muslims. It also has significant population of Sufis, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Hindus. None of these communities have any separatist demands.
3. The larger two of the three regions of the state consisting of Jammu and Ladakh covering an area of 85,000 square kilometers are not Muslim majority areas, and there has never been any demand of separatism.
4. When the terrorist Afzal Guru was hanged, the media made it appear as if the entire state was out on the streets. The reality was that out of 22 districts, there was not a single demonstration in 17 districts and only 5 districts in the Valley saw staged demonstrations.
5. Poonch has 90% and Kargil 90% Muslims, but there was no protest in these areas.
6. Our perception about Jammu and Kashmir is that a battle between nationalism and separatism is going on for the past 68 years. Nationalism has neither been lost nor will it, because in most areas of the state, majority of the people are nationalists.
7. The only legal dispute tenable under international law is, How India should get back areas that are under the illegal occupation of Pakistan and China?

‘Separatism’, ‘dispute’ and ‘autonomy’ are three myths raised by Pakistan and her agents within Kashmir and other parts of India

The State should be considered as one entity like Jammu (with maximum of the ground area), Ladakh and only thereafter Kashmir.

Pakistan and India baiters have been harping on

United Nations Security Council Resolution 47.

The resolution identifies Pakistan as an occupying force and states that in order to bring peace and harmony, the following steps will be undertaken in sequence.

1. First Pakistan must demilitarise and withdraw ALL its military forces and nationals used for the purpose of fighting from Kashmir.
2. Subsequently India must demilitarise Kashmir
3. A plebiscite may be held to determine the will of the people of Kashmir.

Since Pakistan failed to demilitarise, the entire process of normalisation went into a tailspin. That was in 1947, it is now 2016. In November 2010 the United Nations removed Jammu and Kashmir from its list of disputed territories.This UN Resolution is thus dead.

Secondly, the resolution was passed by United Nations Security Council under chapter VI of UN Charter.Resolutions passed under Chapter VI of UN charter are considered non binding and have no mandatory enforceability.

Since the government and the armed forces do not speak on the issue, the reporting is left mainly to separatist leaders and politicians, Jihadi terrorists, and the media. That most of these people and organisations who owe their loyalty and livelihood to foreigners, the reports will unjustifiably portray India in a bad light.

Muslim Pakistan’s national identity is defined by a single dimension of being anti India and the destruction of secular India. Fake issues and imaginary threats from India are constantly raked up to provide justification for the Pakistan army to control the reins of power. Pakistan has lost all the wars they have waged against India. Pakistan claims concern for muslim brothers in Kashmir, while simultaneously abducting, torturing and exterminating large number of Baluchis,and Pashtuns, shows its desire for conflict with India.

Pakistan because of its terrorist activities and toxic behaviour, is on very bad terms and in conflict with all its neighbours be it India, Afghanistan or Bangladesh.

The Pakistani leadership and Army have bankrupted and impoverished Pakistan by wasting money and resources on useless confrontations. Pakistan is using Kashmir merely as an issue to harm India by waging a proxy war using terrorism, with the hope of bleeding India with a thousand cuts.

The ONLY condition required is PUT THE COUNTRY ABOVE YOUR RELIGION is also the guarantee for peace and prosperity in the whole world. Prophets come and go but Mother Earth is eternal. Hence our FIRST loyalty should be to MOTHER figuratively and literally.

Truly great are those who honour their mothers and also as logical extension their COUNTRY.

In spite of Pakistan’s best efforts, Kashmir will always remain an integral part of India, and we will grow stronger with time.

How to Purge out Islam

from any Non-Muslim country

The internet free media has helped the world know very well truthfully how barbaric, intolerant, anti-democratic cancerous Islam is. Therefore, as of now (Aug. 2016) Angola has declared Islam illegal, China and Myanmar have taken many measures to curb Islam.

Purging out Islam from, or declaring it illegal in, a non-Muslim democracy is possible as long as the non-Muslim people are in majority and with unity they determine to purge out Islam. They will need to amend constitution clearly declaring any anti-democracy religion or ideology illegal. Once the constitution is amended thus, it will be very easy to purge out Islam. While effort to amend the constitution are going on, the government / people can do the following:

1. Do not give permission for separate Sharia law for Muslims
2. Do not give permission to run Muslims schools (madressas)
3. Do not give permission to build mosques
4. Declare distribution or sale of Koran, Hadith, and Sura illegal
5. Ban blocking streets by Muslims for namaaz (Islamic prayer)
6. Ban burkha
7. Ban halaal meat sales or advertisements
8. Do not declare any Muslim holiday as national holiday
9. Ban use of Arabic in mosques (allow only the national language in mosques)
10. Forbid Islamic holiday celebrations
11. Ban foreign mullahs or Muslim preachers to enter in country
12. Do not allow loudspeakers on mosques
13. Declare illegal the possession of arms, weapons, or explosives by Muslims
14. Ban entry back in the country for those Muslims who go pilgrimage to Macca and Madina
15. Declare a law that says no Muslim man can divorce his wife saying, “tallaaq, tallaaq, tallaaq”
16. Make legal marriage age above 17 years
17. Punish all those who support or make any effort in cutting clitoris of girls
18. Ban any ritual that causes injury to children
19. Economically boycott Muslims. That is, with unity no one will ever buy or sell any product or service from any Muslim no matter what
20. Encourage Muslims to quit Islam by social, intellectual, political, and economic pressures

About Cows

A cow’s milk is highly nutritious that its advantages are hard to explain. A cow gives plenty of milk besides her own café. There is enough milk provided by cow for the entire family otherwise it will go into the drain. That is the Nature Laws. Those who keep cows benefit economically in numerous ways by selling its milk and running a dairy.

Milk cleanses our body and keeps it healthy as well as increases our intellectual power. There is no need to explain the advantages of the products of a cow. It is written in the Artha Veda that cows’ extinction from earth would result in Sun’s increase in temperature that would ultimately destroy the planet. This shows that the earth and cow have a significant relation. This Vedic expression can be understood in a simple meaning that the relation between the two is conditional and dependent. Those who drink and use cow’s milk, proved brilliant and intellectual. And the buffalo’s milk user has been proved dull and blunt. The cow’s urine (Gauut) and dung can turn soil fertile and help crops to grow. The grasses that sprout from the soil, straw, stalk, and other grains can be used as fodder for cow which retains the traditional balance. A cow’s significance is huge. We need to open the discussion, which is highly necessary, if we should consume cow’s meat or not. During the Vedic period the Risihis’ had observed a ritual sacrifice of the cow which brought all curses of diseases as leprosy, Dusadhya, Rajyayachma and Ohjayachma different kinds of diseases that led the Rishis to their death. So the ritual was not observed. To consume the cow’s meat can be compared to consuming slow poison. The killing of cow and its sacrifice was banned. To eat cow’s meat is in reality like consuming poison.

Those who are used to eating beef have low immunity resistance, and they easily fall prey to the diseases, which ultimately claim their lives; so all sectors ought to be alert to this danger. In Saudi Arab to take a picture of Lord Shiva is banned, it is prohibited. In

similar manner if beef is allowed to enter the holy land of Nepal for the consumption by tourists the government ought to impose strict regulation against it. It is the subject of the sensitivity of this land. In the name of secularism no one has the right to kill the

aspirations of the majority in the interest of the minority of the country. However, it is said that the cow from the Himwat-khanda region and that from western countries some differ considerably. There are logics that claim the consumption of cow meat in western nation is less dangerous than what it would be in this region. The environment and the geographical environment create such difference between the east and western regions. British grass cannot be used for religious rites of Hindus. If the grass sprouting in any other places than Himwat-khanda cannot be used for Hindu rituals then there must be some difference in terms of cow too-as some logics have pointed out. In western nation it is said that consuming cow meat does not bring diseases, but drinking urine brings great illness. But in Himwat-khanda it is the reverse.

Drinking cow urine cures diseases, where as other animal’s urine can be fatal. The cow’s meat eaters are the sufferers of leprosy and death in decay.

Once there was news that people in Britain went mad and became ill after consuming cow’s meat. They had even stopped consuming cow’s meat. Then, the British government banned cow’s meat. In many beef eating countries banned the beef from Britain. After that, some Britain’s media reported that, so many British left eating cows’ meat. If a person suffering from arthritis consumes sheep’s meat, and if a person with pressure consumes the meat of a castrated goat then they suffer from unnecessary thoughts. If a person eats beef that person suffers from bad breath. There must have been an ulcer inside the stomach. To eat goat’s meat for the blood- pressure patients and to eat the sheep’s meat for the rheumatism patients will harmful. So, the beef is also becoming the causes of the obesity and increases cholesterol level which is very dangerous for heart. Sometimes it also spread diseases like e-coli and b-coli.

An Indian cultural export Subodh Kumar writes – ‘The Enemies of civilized behavior think that cows cannot defend themselves. They kill cows, but by their conduct such persons, fire the hearts of right mind men who hound such enemies of civilized behavior to punish them here on earth in this world and the next world.

They (Cows) should never be killed. They provide with warmth and comfort like fire, provide the highest forms of intellect, and fill the individuals with qualities strength and valor to be victorious in all situations.

शतापाष्ठां नि गिरति तां न शक्नोति निःखिदन्‌ ।

अन्नं यो ब्रह्मणां मल्वः स्वाद्व द्यीति मन्यते ॥ अथर्व 5-18-7

The unfortunate persons, who kill and rejoice in eating their (cow’s) flesh, suffer with innumerable maladies from which they can never recover.

But only the fanaticism against Hinduism has started killing of cows. Cow milk is used all over the world for infants as substitute for mother’s milk and for persons of all ages. PAKISTAN – THE JIHAD FACTORY PART 2

Pakistan has two narratives. That it is the fortress of Islam, and hence, irrespective of credibility and capability, it is somehow responsible for the leadership of the Muslim world. And that Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan. Everyone knows that these narratives are as real as Santa Claus. Everyone, except Pakistan.

Pakistan has two fathers, Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Maulana Abu Ala Maududi.

While Jinnah found it perfectly acceptable to use Islam and the Two Nation Theory to create Pakistan, he realized soon enough that he had created a monster. And he realized this before 14 August 1947. On 11 August, he outlined his vision for the fledgling state. “You may belong to any religion or caste or creed; that has nothing to do with the business of the State.” Soaring words indeed, from a man who had conspired to create a theocratic state over the dead bodies of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

Maududi, an influential cleric amongst many other things, had never reconciled to the creation of Pakistan. He was of the opinion that Islam did not recognize geographical boundaries, the Ummah being the glue that bound Muslims together. He also felt that partition was counter-productive because while Jinnah thought he had divided India, he had actually divided Muslims. Maududi was an Islamic supremacist in the strictest sense of the word. His party, the Jamaat-e-Islami, found legitimacy in Iqbal’s poetry.

Soon after his death, Pakistan buried Jinnah, and with him his ideology of hypocrisy. It is now unabashedly in the bosom of its other father, Maulana Abu Ala Maududi. Today, the Pakistani Sunni majority hates Shias, Ahmadis, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and everyone that there is to hate. True democratic secularism has been achieved. Everyone hates everybody equally, without discrimination.

This hatred has a history. And it all started with Pakistan’s hatred towards Hindus and India, an illogical hatred of a long subjugated majority, which came to power using democracy and non-violence, and hatred of India because of Kashmir.

With each passing year Pakistan realizes that its dream of Kashmir is fading, and with each passing year the wound deepens further, suppurating and festering. This pain of impotence finds voice in delusions of Jihad.

There are many reasons for violence in Kashmir, strategic depth and “economies of low intensity conflict” the most obvious. A lesser-known reason is that Pakistan has no option. It has built up mass hysteria for 70 years, an opiated populace finding solace in a synthetic utopia. Pakistan is riding a tiger.

Gen. Zia-ul-Haq, Chief of Pakistan Army and the President of Pakistan, had an eye for talent. In the early eighties, he spotted a fiery cleric from Sargodha (Pakistani Punjab) with a small yet passionate following. So impressed was he with the cleric that he appointed him to a senior position in Pakistan’s powerful Council for Islamic Ideology.

In the mid-eighties, 1986-87 by some accounts, the cleric, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed joined his friend Abdullah Azzam and spawned the Marqaz Dawa wal Irshad, a non-government organization dedicated to the resettlement of former militants from the Afghan jihad. This was a façade. In the early 90’s, Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence and Hafiz Saeed together formed the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), the Army of the Pure.

Terror organizations are not new to Kashmir, but there is an interesting learning to be had here. All terror organizations that had Kashmir as their central charter have all but disappeared, a case in point being the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) which considered Pakistan to be as much the aggressor as India. In fact there is hardly any operational terror group with the word Kashmir as part of its name. The so-called “azaadi” struggle has been highjacked by terror organizations with Arab and Pan-Islamic names like Hizb-ul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Al-Badr and many more.

Terror groups in Kashmir are funded by Joint Intelligence (North), the ISI’s Kashmir Desk, based out of Islamabad. JI (N) receives funding from the intelligence fund, which is an undisclosed part of the Pakistan national budget. Some funds are received from Saudi Arabia. Mostly, these funds are not for Jihad but for propagating the Saudi Wahhabi school of thought. Diversion of funds is a Pakistani specialty. They have been doing it since the days of the US funded Afghan jihad in the eighties.

These funds are mostly funneled through Hafiz Saeed of the LeT and Syed Salahuddin, the Chairman of the United Jihad Council. The method is the age old and trusted hawala system, wherein money is transferred to the ISI’s assets in J&K for further dissemination. Terrorists carry Indian currency with them when they infiltrate. Fake Indian currency is a huge state-sponsored racket in Pakistan. Next time you go to the bank to deposit cash and the cashier rejects a few currency notes, specially the 1000 or 500 denomination; you know where they are coming from.

With over 20,000 madrasas, mostly unregulated by the government, Pakistan already has a mass base of would-be Jihadis. Quranic studies form a lion’s share of the education imparted in these madrasas. In most madrasas, the only education is the Holy Quran. When the students come out of the four suffocating walls of their Islamic seminary, they find that they do not have the educational skills to get a respectable job.

Well indoctrinated and well motivated, the most brainwashed amongst these students find themselves at a tri-junction once they graduate. They either join the ranks of terrorists in Kashmir mostly through the LeT or Hizb-ul Mujahideen, go to fight the coalition forces in Afghanistan or join the ISIS. So much for career choices!

The LeT has training modules for selected students. Only those who are ideologically indoctrinated and see this temporal world as a temporary residing place and those who live for the afterlife are welcome.

You have all heard stories about how terrorists look forward to death because of the promised 72 hoors and rivers of milk and honey. For an impoverished teenager who has only seen poverty, has a worldview nurtured by an illiterate maulvi and who has absolutely no future, 72 virgins are not a bad deal, the rivers of milk and honey be damned.

Once the potential Jihadi is selected, he is put through Daura-e-Sufa, a 21-day religious indoctrination course in which he is taught about the futility of life and how Jihad is a shortcut to Jannat (paradise). Sustained effort is made to religiously indoctrinate him so that he is emotionally calloused enough to kill with impunity. Remember, this to-be Jihadi has spent his entire life in a madrasa. He is looking forward to die. It is this part of the Wahhabi philosophy, which is taught.

The next step is Daura-e-Aam, which is again a 21-day capsule course. But in this training course they are put through a physically demanding schedule and taught basic weapons and uniform recognition of Indian security forces. Only about 10% of the batch makes it to the next level.

The top 10% are then sent to receive advanced training as part of theDaura-e-Khas module. Here they learn about weapon systems and the LeT organization. They are taught the finer details of how to conduct attacks on military camps, driving, explosives, use of radio sets, using of crew served weapons (weapons requiring more than one person to operate). They are taught to evade Indian Army patrols, navigation and survival. The training is extremely tough and only few pass this advanced course. Less than 10% make it.

The training instructors are retired personal of the Special Service Group (SSG) of the Pakistan Army. SSG is Pakistan Army Special Forces. JI (N) and the Covert Action Division (CAD) of the ISI overview the entire training module.

The best of those who qualify are sent to fight the Indian Army in Kashmir.

The main staging bases for infiltration into Kashmir are located in Muzzafarabad, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), and are controlled by Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin, under the overall supervision of JI (N).

The topography of the Kashmir Valley and Jammu area ahead of Akhnoor, Surankote, Krishna Ghati, Bhimbar Gali, Mendhar and Poonch & Rajouri and Doda and Kishtwar is extremely uneven. In many areas in the upper reaches, it snows heavily and there is constant firing along the Line of Control. Hence it is not possible to build a physical barrier everywhere. These gaps have to be guarded physically, usually by ambush teams. The ambush teams cannot cover every inch of ground. There are gaps between ambush teams. These gaps are further covered by army patrols. This is not a 100% foolproof method, but it is the best and the most practical under the circumstances.

Pakistan Army units give covering fire to infiltrating terrorists. Many terrorists are killed during infiltration along the Line of Control. Those who manage to escape then fight as fedayeen (suicide squads) and target security forces. Very few go back alive. Most of them are killed.

Kashmiri militants are not battle hardened enough to afford the kind of traction that Pakistan wants in Kashmir. They are just not ruthless enough. Many feel homesick after some time and want to go back. Some become informers. Hence the burning need for Pakistan to export terror into India.

Indian Kashmir has a separate flag. It has a separate constitution. It has a separate penal code. Then what is this “azaadi” that Kashmiri separatists keep demanding? “Azaadi” is a synonym for wanting to merge with Pakistan.

That’s why during protests on the streets of Srinagar, you don’t see the Kashmir flag. What you see is a sea of Pakistan flags. It is not so much emotion, but the willingness of the separatists to wear the sponsor’s logo on their jersey.

Kashmiriyat is dead. What you have are the foundations of the Khilafat,and the seed of the Islamic State.

वहाँ दिनभर काम करता है,
साथियों के साथ चाय पीता है,
शाम को वापिस घर के लिए निकलता है,
घर के रास्ते में राशन लेता है,
बच्चों के लिए टॉफी,
बीवी के लिए मिठाई वगैरह लेकर,
मोबाइल में रिचार्ज करवाता है,
और अनेक छोटे मोटे काम निपटाते हुए घर पहुँचता है,

अब आप बताइये कि उसे दिन भर में कहीं कोई “सवर्ण” या “दलित” मिला ?
क्या उसने दिन भर में किसी “दलित” पर कोई अत्याचार किया ?

उसको दिन भर में जो मिले वो थे..
अख़बार वाले भैया,
दूध वाले भैया,
रिक्शा वाले भैया,
बस कंडक्टर,
ऑफिस के मित्र,
आंगतुक,
पान वाले भैया,
चाय वाले भैया,
टॉफी की दुकान वाले भैया,
मिठाई की दूकान वाले भैया..

जब ये सब लोग भैया और मित्र हैं तो इनमें “दलित” कहाँ है ?

“क्या दिन भर में उसने किसी से पूछा कि भाई तू “दलित” है या “सवर्ण”

अगर तू “दलित” है तो मैं
तेरी बस में सफ़र नहीं करूँगा,
तुझसे सिगरेट नहीं खरीदूंगा,
तेरे हाथ की चाय नहीं पियूँगा,
तेरी दुकान से टॉफी नहीं लूंगा,

क्या उसने साबुन, दूध, आटा, नमक, कपड़े, जूते, अखबार, टॉफी, मिठाई, दाल, सब्जी खरीदते समय किसी से ये सवाल किया था कि ये सब बनाने/उगाने वाले “सवर्ण” हैं या “दलित” ?

हममें से शायद ही कोई किसी की “जाति” पूछ कर तय करता होगा कि फलाँ आदमी से कैसा व्यवहार करना है,

हम सबके फ़ोन की लिस्ट में या सोशल मीडिया की फ्रेंड लिस्ट में ना जाने कितने “सवर्ण” या “दलित” होंगे..

क्या आज तक किसी ने कभी भी उनकी पोस्ट लाइक करने से पहले या उस पर कमेन्ट करने से पहले उनकी “जाति” पुछा ?

क्या किसी से कभी कहा कि तुम “सवर्ण” हो या “दलित” हो इसलिए मेरी पोस्ट पर लाइक या कमेन्ट मत करना ?

“जब हमारी रोजमर्रा की ज़िन्दगी में मिलने वाले लोग “सवर्ण” या “दलित” नहीं होते तो फिर क्या वजह है कि “चुनाव” आते ही हम “सवर्ण” या “दलित” बना दिए जाते हैं ?

“जाति” के नाम पर जहरीली राजनीति करने वाले प्रैसटीटयूट (खबरण्डीयों) और देशद्रोही/समाजकंटक पार्टियों को पहचानें और ऐसे राक्षसों को नकारें..

ये “जाति” के नाम पर जहरीली राजनीति करने वाले हम सब हिंदुऔ को आपस में लड़ाकर “असंगठित” करके हमें गुलाम बनाना चाहते हैं।

This incredibly multifaceted lady is also one of the only 10 women in the world certified in Jeet Kune Do, a unique martial art form created by Bruce Lee in the 1960s.

Seema Rao is the daughter of freedom fighter Prof. Ramakant Sinari, who helped in the liberation of Goa from the Portuguese. The deeply patriotic Seema grew up listening to stories of India’s struggle for independence and always wanted to serve her country. She finally had the opportunity to convert this desire into reality when she met her future husband, Major Deepak Rao, at the age of 16. Major Rao had been practicing martial arts since the age of 12 and it was he who introduced Seema to this empowering field.

Major Deepak Rao is Seema’s co-pioneer in the field of close quarter battle training. In 2011, he received the President of India’s rank award for his 20 years of contribution to the Indian Army. Others who have been honored with the same award are Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Abhinav Bindra.

After marriage, the couple continued to learn and excel in martial arts, shooting, and weapon defense while they simultaneously pursued an education in medicine. After becoming certified doctors, Deepak equipped himself with the prestigious CLET Law Enforcement certification, while Seema did her MBA in crisis management. The formidable couple then started thinking about how they could channelize their desire to do something constructive for the country. After much thought, they decided to train the soldiers of the Indian armed forces without accepting any compensation in return.

There were two factors that inspired them to take up this Herculean challenge. One was the desire to serve the personnel who guard India and the other was their instinctive need to remain engaged in combat and martial arts. So, in 1996, they approached the Service Chiefs of Army, Navy, BSF NSG. The chiefs were impressed with the couple’s dedication and decided to try out their training program. There was no looking back after that.

Seema has since spent 20 years as a full-time guest trainer of the Indian armed forces.

The journey wasn’t easy. The couple had to face several financial hardships in the initial years of their marriage but they stuck to their decision of not charging a single rupee for their work. Also, since Seema was constantly travelling to hostile locations, through harsh weather and inhospitable terrain, she could not even attend her father’s funeral. Realizing that it would be impossible to carry a pregnancy through, given her rigorous training schedule, Seema consciously decided not to have her own child and instead adopted a girl. In the course of work, Seema also suffered multiple injuries that included a vertebral fracture and a severe head injury that made her lose her memory for months (she could not recognize anyone but her husband). She was also shot at by insurgents but her determination to serve her nation never wavered. Along with her husband, Seema has provided training to almost every elite unit of the Indian Forces, including the NSG Black Cats, MARCOS, GARUD, Para commandos, BSF, the Army Corps Battle Schools and its Commando Wing. She has also trained officers of the National Police Academy, the Army Officers Training Academy and the Police Quick Response Teams of almost every major city in India.

Though Seema has repeatedly proven herself in the male-dominated field of commando training, she still meets trainees in every course who are reluctant to learn from a woman. In an interview with Naaree, Seema said:

“Not only did I have to discipline them, but I also had to gain their confidence in my ability to teach. However, eventually, I have always managed to earn the respect of commandos that I have trained.”

In 2009, after training the GARUD commandos, Seema was invited by the Air Force Chief for the official IAF Para Jump course. Here, she earned her IAF Para Wings, another rare achievement.

Seema is also the only external combat training resource appointed by the Indian government to date and, with her husband, she has received 4 Army Chief citations, a record unparalleled by anyone.

Seema’s strength lies in her skill in Close Quarter Battle (CQB) – the art of proximity combat that focuses on physical prowess, skill, and protocol. It involves techniques like reflex shooting with rifles, quick shooting with pistols, and bare-handed combat. It also entails the precise use of knives, bayonets, and other appropriate combat weapons. Room combat and confined space combat such as anti- hijack operations also come under the purview of CQB. In her interview, Seema laughingly said:

“I can shoot an apple off a person’s head from 50 yards without giving him a scratch and I can evade a speeding bullet aimed at my head with ease.”

Seema and her husband have also developed a unique and modern method of CQB exclusively for the use of Indian forces. The Advanced Commando Combat System, or Bison System as it is called, is different from the conventional CQB.

In this system, the reflex shooting method is unique and the unarmed methods can quickly handicap or cripple the enemy with the least effort. The team tactics in Bis “With UCCA, we have published seven books till date and three of these are limited editions for the exclusive use of the Indian forces. Our book Encyclopedia of Close Combat Ops is the world’s first encyclopedia on CQB training and it has found a proud place in the FBI library and the INTERPOL library. One System differ from conventional western CQBs and are unique too.

The Raos have also developed an indigenous method of reflex shooting, which is known as the Rao System of Reflex Fire. Says Seema:

“The conventional methods of shooting generally uses up many seconds to aim precisely and then shoot. This is beneficial in long range combat when the enemy is say 300 yards away, covered by a rock. But when the enemy is just 20 yards away and in front of you, quick shooting without using too much time for precise aim is needed. To cater to this need in modern warfare, we devised the Rao System of Reflex Fire. The Indian forces have found this very beneficial.”

The Rao couple has also established the Unarmed Commando Combat Academy (UCCA), an elite military martial arts academy, to help train the Indian forces and also to publish training books for the Forces. The Academy also offers training in Jeet Kune Do and a variety of other exotic martial arts to civilians. There is also an Unarmed Combat Blackbelt program for civilians. Says Seema:

Seema feels very strongly about women’s safety and has designed a program specially tailored for women to help them deal with harassment, molestation, sexual assault, and rape. Called DARE (Defense Against Rape and Eve Teasing), the program equips women, both mentally and physically, to face adverse situations posed by potential eve teasers, molesters, and other sexual assaults. She has also produced and acted in India’s first mixed martial arts movie, Hathapayi, which “It’s not easy. It never is. But who likes it easy anyway. Bring it on!!” revolves around a woman protagonist. This movie portrays the martial art of Jeet Kune Do for the first time in Indian cinema.

Seema has been bestowed with several awards during her amazing and inspiring journey. They include the World Peace Award at World Peace Congress in Malaysia and the US President’s Volunteer Service Award. But the greatest award, according to her, is the deep satisfaction she gets from training the Indian armed forces.

To date, Seema has trained more than 15,000 soldiers in modern close quarter battle and has no intention of hanging up her boots anytime soon. She has proved that ordinary citizens can do extraordinary work for their country and that a woman can do anything she puts her mind to. As this bold and courageous woman, who calls herself 47-years-young, says.

Dr. Seema Rao is India’s first woman commando trainer, an approved Close Quarter Battle training resource by the Indian Home Ministry. She has trained Indian Special forces for 18 years without compensation. She is a pioneer in Close Quarter Battle – the art of fighting at close proximity and is involved in training various Indian forces. Her work was partnered by Major. Deepak Rao. who received Presidential rank honor from Indian President for pioneering Close Quarter Battle training for Indian Army.
