My humble namaskar, Vyas ji The Sanatan Dharma needs culturally aware and deeply rooted Vedic scholars as its preachers today. The sublime light of the Veda can be spread through passion alone and not via religiosity as a profession.
For our time, Bhagavad Gita, the short summary of the Veda is sufficient to know what is Dharma (or the spiritual science), and then live per dharma. Gita is not hard to understand mostly.
