Sikh Dharma (panth) is Hinduism
Dear Harjit and all others on this group,
I have followed all the rants going on.
It’s not your fault Harjit that you’re not aware of our own history.
Most of us don’t, because we have been kept away from our rich culture,
and history, by the so-called keepers of the faith so that they can
continue filling their dirty coffers.
Being in military, I too did not have much deeper knowledge,
till one day it all changed and I was blessed to learn more and more.
You talk about the holy Sanskrit language. It doesn’t matter whether it’s oldest or not.
But do you know that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was master of Sanskrit, that he recited a
Shabad “Gagan mein thaal….” all in Sanskrit ? And that his pious shabad is sung every night at Harimandir sahib, without fail, although most of the Sikhs still do not know the meanings of this shabad?
How many of us know that there was no Gurmukhi language in Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s time, that Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded Sikhism as a “Way of Life” & not as a religion, that he preached “Bhandh jamiyea…” thereby giving higher status to women than men, that despite his teachings, Punjab belittles women and kills girls at child birth, that Punjab has highest rate of female infanticide?
I can go on and on.
Please, let’s not be fanatics. Sikhs were, and are, blessed to stand for humanity and not to behave
like fundamentalists and spread hatred, like we are seeing now and falling straight into Congress
plan of divide and rule.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji made Sikhs out of Hindus, including from low castes, and broke walls of
Castes and stood tall against the might of Moguls. Sadly, our leadership continues to divide us
between Jats & non-Jats – calling some as “Majbhis”.
Hope we all shall realise deep rooted essence of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s shabad where he complained
to the Lord saying, “Khurasan khasmana kiya Hindustan daraya….” He never mentioned Khalistan.
Congress pushed Sikhs to corner by torturing and sowing seeds of hate in our youth.
It’s our country, and all castes, including of Hindus, are One Family, of One God.
Makes sense?
Rab rakha.
