Effect Of Translating Bhagavad Gita

From: Anjalee Pandya < >

HINDUISM (as provided in Bhagavad Gita):

The first person who translated Bhagvad Gita in Urdu was Mohammad Meherullah.Later he adopted Hinduism.

The first person who translated Bhagvad Gita in Arabic was a Palestinian named El Fateh Commando. Later he joined ISKCON in Germany and followed Hinduism.

The first person who translated Bhagvad Gita in English was Charles Wiliknos. Later he adopted Hinduism. He even said only Hinduism will survive in the world.

The first person who translated Bhagvad Gita in Hebrew was an Israeli named Bezashition le Fanah. Later he adopted Hinduism in India.

The first person who translated Bhagvad Gita in Russian language was Novikov. Later he became devotee of Bhagwan Krishna.

Till now 283 intellectuals translated Bhagvad Gita, out of which 58 were in Bengali, 44 in English,12 German, 4 Russian, 4 French, 13 Spanish, 5 Arabic, 3 Urdu and in many other world languages.

The thing to note is this – the effect of Gita to its reader: The person who translated Al Quran in Bengali was Girish Chandra Sen, and he didn’t convert to Islam because he had read Bhagvat Gita before.

  1. The information is inspiring worthy. But I have an article in Bengali ” why Hinduism” which I want to share on this site.Is it possible?

  2. I couldnt find a single source which claims Mohammad Meherullah adopted Hinduism…pls share your source so we can share such messages based on facts…thanks

  3. As claimed in the article the people mentioned did translate the Gita. But there is no evidence whatsoever ever that they adopted Hinduism.csn any one throw mire light on this

    1. I trust the source of the article that what it says is true. Any reader who doubts the truthfulness of the article are welcome to show evidence that something in the article is not true. Additionally, despite understanding Bhagavad Gita well, one is free to not convert to the Hindu Dharma for various reasons. Another way is that a readers should seriously study Gita with an open mind, and then honestly ponder if what he/she found in Gita is universal or not, or how good it is towards living happy life and make others happy. Gita contains Spiritual Science, and so it is universal. The proof of it is when you live per it; and you do not have to convert to Hinduism to do it. If in doubt about Gita’s understanding, one has to approach a Guru with non-envious friendly way. Else no Hindu guru has interest to impart the spiritual knowledge.

If a reader of Gita, has a question to know, needs an explanation, he/she can make a comment to the article. This humble devotee will answer.
Happy new year, and happy future. -sv

      1. That’s not how this works.
Something that can be claimed without evidence can be dismissed without evidence
For example if I say you are a thief do I need to provide evidence you are a thief or is it upto you to prove that you are not?

      2. In all the non-Muslim countries, in their court of law, an accused is innocent until the accuser proves that the accused is guilty. I hope you are not living in a Muslim country, or you do not live by Sharia. jaya shri krishna!
