Ramadan: Islam’s ‘Holy Month’ of Christian Oppression and the True Face of Radical Islam: Can Muslims Truly Live Sincerely in Non-Muslim States

The month of Ramadan, which ended earlier this week, proved to be a month of renewed Muslim piety on the one hand, and renewed oppression of non-Muslim minorities on the other. In Nigeria, for example, Islamic militants are living up to the assertion that “Ramadan is a month of jihad and death for Allah,” proving that killing Christians is not only reserved for Christian holidays—like Christmas and Easter, when militants bombed churches killing dozens—but is especially applicable during Islam’s Ramadan.

Usually, however, Ramadan-related oppression has to do with Muslim perceptions that Christians do not “know their place”—either because the latter openly do things forbidden to Muslims during Ramadan, or because they dare object to the things Muslims do during their holy month.
When it comes to these aspects of dhimmitude, Egypt offers countless examples, past and present, simply because it houses the Middle East’s largest Christian minority, the Copts, and thus offers more opportunities for the intolerant face of Ramadan to reveal itself. Two recent examples follow:
First, according to Coptic websites, on July 27, a diabetic man in Egypt was driving his car in Maadi, a suburb of southern Cairo, when he was struck with great thirst, “which he could not bear” (a side-effect of diabetes, further exacerbated by Egypt’s July weather). He pulled over by a public water source and started drinking water. Soon three passer-bys approached him, inquiring why he was drinking water (among the many things forbidden to Muslims during daylight in Ramadan). The diabetic man replied, “Because I am a Christian, and sick,” to which they exclaimed “you’re a Christian, too!” and begun beating him mercilessly. Other passer-bys began to congregate to see what was happening, but no one intervened on behalf of the diabetic non-Muslim, until he managed to make a dash for his parked car and fled the scene.

Though water is not forbidden to him, this infidel Christian openly violated a principle of Islamic Ramadan, which was deemed a great affront and punished accordingly. This idea that non-Muslims must show respect for Islamic observances is commonplace. Around the same time this story took place, a Christian Lebanese singer was taken to police while in Algeria for smoking in public, and “failing to show due respect to Muslims.” She was released after police warned her that “she was not allowed to smoke in public during Ramadan in Muslim Algeria, even though she was a Christian.”

The second story from Egypt concerns a young Christian doctor, Maher Rizkalla Ghali, who was shot by riotous Muslims, including easily-identified Salafis, resulting in the loss of one eye and the likely loss of the other. According to Watan Voice, the perpetrators live downstairs and regularly fired bullets in the air while feasting during sahur (the time before dawn when Muslims are permitted the things they are forbidden in daylight, including food, water, and sex). One night the raucous was so unbearable that the Copt spoke to them from his window, saying that their actions were disturbing to children and the elderly.

Their response was to “insult his religion” and open fire at him, severely disfiguring him. The Muslims then tried to break through the door to attack and plunder the Christian household. Although the family filed a police report, “security forces have not taken any action towards the perpetrators.” Likewise, though they tried to admit the blinded Christian man to several hospitals, they were refused admission until Kasr Hospital accepted them.

This story is almost identical to what happened to a family in Turkey around the same time. According to Hurriyet Daily News, the home of an Alevi family “was stoned and their stables burned down by an angry mob” because they “told a Ramadan drummer not to wake them for sahur, the meal before sunrise,” resulting in a quarrel. After local Muslims found out about the family’s temerity, “a mob of around 60 people” gathered around the house hurling stones, setting the stable on fire, and chanting Islamic slogans, including “Allahu Akbar!” “They came to lynch us,” explained a family member, and “told us to leave and threatened to kill us if we did not.”

The above anecdotes demonstrate the stark antithesis between the West and the Muslim world concerning the notion of being “sensitive” to religious minorities during the holidays of the dominant religion: whereas almost every year, stories appear of Christmas being suppressed to accommodate Muslim sensitivities in the West, in the Muslim world, Christians themselves are being suppressed to accommodate Muslim sensitivities. The question is asked can Muslims truly live sincerely in non-Muslim states without ulterior motives.

India is a turmoil and the dangers are immense for Non-Muslim population.  Even Indian Muslims showed that their true allegiance is for Bangladeshi Muslims who carried knives, axes and spades and terrorized and burnt villages, displacing literally hundreds of thousands of Bodo Hindus.   First Kashmir, then all Northeast India and many mini-Pakistanis all around India, there seems little hope for non-Muslims of India.

What happened to police in state of Maharashtra where they banged heads of two cops until they died, cut their private parts and threw their bodies into fire, will happen in rest of the country in a few years, eventually to the rest of the population in just a few decades.   In Pakistan, they reduced the population of 25% non Muslims to less than 1%; they decimated most of non Muslim population by conversion and killing, mostly in three months.   Millions of women and girls committed suicide to escape mass scale rape;  men’s private parts were cut off and thousands of severed heads paraded on poles all around Pakistan.  Hindu and Sikh fathers killed their daughters with their own hands rather than see their daughters raped in front of them and killed.   We have got to face the Islamic terror head on or we are all doomed.  Jehadi Islam will eventually destroy the all humanity, both non-Muslims and Muslims.  What will happen if all of India becomes Islamic?  We cannot handle one Pakistan; just imagine what would happen if India becomes Islamic, which is a real possibility with many parts of India becoming mini Pakistans.

If Indians are not willing to oust and punish those politicians and their hand maidens like the purchased media who are allowing this to happen, they will face the same fate of those Hindus in Pakistan a few decades ago, of those in Bangladesh in last three decades and now those in Assam.    Ms. Sonia Gandhi and the Congress party have literally allowed Indians to become minced meat for the Jehadi terrorists without catching a single terrorist for sake of vote bank (see heart breaking links at the end).  Indian politicians enjoying Z level security costing millions of dollars at the expense of the wretched Indians have looted enough to run away to other countries, leaving hapless Indians to eventually become fodder for the Jehadi Islamists.

Radical Islam Taking Over Assam in North East

In the last 15 days or so, a sort of Jihad has been unleashed on Hindus all over India by radical Islamists from Bangladesh in collusion with the Muslims from Assam, Maharashtra, U. P., Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan; and indirectly facilitated by anti-Hindu Congress Governments in the state of Assam and at the Center. This period has been marked with unprecedented violence. The manner in which Jihadists acted in unison smacked of a deep-rooted conspiracy to demoralize the Hindus and create fear psychosis in their mind. The grand plan clearly appears to be to frighten the Hindus and their political leaders into submission and prepare the ground to carve out yet another Pakistan from India.  In this exercise, the Islamists burnt hundreds of villages in Assam belonging to Hindus in order to grab their land as they successfully did to Hindus in Bangladesh. The Muslims belonging to different political parties converged to join hands with notorious Badruddin Ajmal, an Indian MP from Assam who demanded dissolution of Bodo Councils (of indigenous Hindus) in Assam. Also ganged up with them were the Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi who hobnobs with Hezbollah Commander in Lebanon (click here for image); Akbaruddin Owaisi, the local MLA of the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party; Nazrul Islam, an IPS officer who demanded a Muslim Chief Minister for West Bengal; and Azam Khan, the Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party minister for Minority Welfare.

In addition, Muslims from other parts of country including the Pakistani sleeper cells in India used SMS messages to circulate threat to all the North-East people working in major cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi etc. The SMS message issued an ultimatum to these hapless Hindus to leave their cities by a certain date and go back to their native place in North East, failing which they would be killed.

To counter the above threatening environment, Dr. Pravin Togadia, the International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad in India, has warned that there are around 14 Muslim jihadi terrorist outfits operating in Assam at this time. The sinister aim of the mass- mobilization by militant Islamists and their terror networks is to establish Dar-ul-Islam, or the Islamic Rule, in India.

The Internet links with each item provide detailed account of attacks on Hindus and their daring encounters with security forces, with which they fought pitched battles burning public transport system and molesting even policewomen.

 

In Mumbai

On August 11, a Muslim mob of around 1000 broke away from other 50,000 assembled at the Azad Maidan in South Mumbai. Armed with petrol cans and plastic bottles, hockey sticks, iron rods and bamboo sticks, the mob vandalized The War Memorial, damaged police vans, smashed journalists’ TV cameras – all, over the issue of so-called mistreatment of Muslims in Myanmar and Assam. It may be recalled that the Muslim mobs had adopted the same strategy at the Godhra Railway Station earlier in year 2002 that resulted in burning alive of 59 Hindu pilgrims and ignited the now famous Gujarat riots.

The current Muslim uprising is led by the Raza Academy and supported by groups like Sunni Jamait-ul-Ulma, Jamate-Raza-e-Mustafa and Awami Vikas Party (AVP). The last one is a political outfit floated by former police officer Shamsher Khan Pathan.

In Sirohi, Rajasthan

One of my contacts confirmed that on August 16, the Muslim mobs attacked a Vidya Bharati school affiliated to the Sangh Parivar and chopped off a Hindu teacher’s hand.

In Ranchi, Jharkhand and Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh

The frenzied Muslim mob attacked vehicles, shops and public life in Ranchi. In Bareilly, the Jihadi Muslims succeeded at stopping the popular once-a-year Janmastami celebrations (Birth of Lord Krishna).

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

The media persons belonging to the print and electronic media were attacked by a Muslim mob shortly after their Friday prayers at the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. (for album of images, click here)

In the present circumstances of appeasement of Muslims and ruthless suppression of native Hindus by country’s ruling establishment, the survival of Hindus is at stake in India. It is time for Hindus to wake up from their deep slumber of apathy and inaction. There is an urgent need for the Global Hindu Unity as advocated by Dr. Subramanian Swamy, the President of Janata Party.

It is, therefore, incumbent upon the rich and highly placed Hindus and the Hindu Dharmacharyas to take note of the gravity of the situation and do something to save the Hindu brethren from the obliteration by Islamic terror tactics.

WHY DO MUSLIM MASSES GO BERSERK?

Men are born free everywhere. But Muslims are indoctrinated and brainwashed at an early age at their Islamic schools and their mind is erased completely . Their mind is filled with rage, hatred, animosity. It is impossible for any Muslim to be peaceful, tolerant and compromise with non believers. Muslims are told that they have to work for the pleasure of fictitious Allah by beheading all non beliers, As such all Muslims believe that infidels are their enemies and they ought to kill all infidels for the pleasure of Allah.

Can we change a scorpion, a snake or blood sucking animals by unconditional positive regard, education, appeasement and incentives. All Muslims believe that their duty is to make the whole world a Dar-ul-Islam and all infidels are to be killed. Koran require all Muslims to be angry, hostile and militant after their prayer meetings. Muslims are known for rioting after Islamic prayer meetings. They act liker common criminals without fear, shame, guilt, or remorse. What to do with containing Islamic atrocities and angry behavior. Muslims should be cornered and contained and a force continuum shall be applied to save humanity from the amok and berserk behavior and terrorism.

Our corrupt and criminal politicians are appeasing Muslims and reinforce their negative behavior and terroristic attitudes. Since our political leaders are criminals and act like Jihadis, Muslims are free to continue their anti human, criminal behavior against infidels. Muslims act like nacruel and short. Since Muslims consider their terrorist dogma as completed religion, we have nothing to do with their bizarre behavior. Since we cannot change the behavior of a blood sucking anumal  or a scorpion, but  we can corner them and contain them. Unless we do that, there will be no more peace or tranquility on Earth.

Some years ago I had written the following showing how the Arabs grade themselves in their hierarchies

 

…Muslim jurists worked out an elaborate system of social grades of birth and descent which basically were:

a. An Arab was superior to a non-Arab

 

b. Amongst Arabs, all Quraishites (Prophet’s tribe) were of equal social standing in a class by themselves, and all other Arabs were equal, irrespective of their tribes.

 

c. Amongst non-Arabs, a man was by birth an equal of an Arab if both his father and grandfather had been Muslims before him, but only if he was sufficiently wealthy to provide an adequate mehr.

 

d. A learned non-Arab was equal to an ignorant Arab.

 

e. A Muslim kazi ranked higher than a merchant and so on….

 

When Muslims start examining themselves critically, the end of Islam is not far off! In this context I am reminded of an ex-Muslim Abu-Sina’s prophetic remarks in his website:

 

Islam can’t be reformed, but it can be eradicated. It can’t be molded, but it can be smashed. It is rigid but brittle. That is why Muslims do not tolerate criticism of it. To eradicate Islam, all we have to do is tell the truth. It’s that simple. Truth about Islam is out. It’s all here in this site. Now it is up to you to spread it. With truth, the decent Muslims will leave Islam and with each Muslim that leaves, we gain a new soldier in our fight against terrorism. We are growing exponentially. The days of Islam are numbered and world peace is around the corner. Many of us will see that day. We might have to go through very tough times meanwhile. The storm is approaching.

More than a word, it shows a whole Saudi racial, social and national attitude and a rancid hubris. In this context, Ummah is either a misnomer or merely a convenience for the Arab. They are Saudis, Iraqis, Egyptians, Yemenis, Kuwaitis Bahrainis, Emiratis or whatever, but brothers in the Ummah. That notion is basically a political convenience. We, in the subcontinent, are emotionally more transparent and excitable. An Arab, like his camel, is emotionally frigid except when he is slighted or his female space is threatened. Despite a strangely adversarial disposition towards females, they count them among their possessions like the black tent, camels and cattle. One realised that the Saudi men’s honour and prestige seem to be tied more to their ability to control their women by diamond necklaces and gold biscuits than any equation of a sublime human relationship. Their family canvas is a sorry mess because of institutionalised licentiousness through a flood of divorces and multiple marriages. A society short of familial affiliations and internal gravitation disintegrates sooner or later.

Saudis, and Arabs for that matter, have an obsessive love for money, matched in our part of the world by the Pathan or the Sikh somewhat, if not fully. The difference is that Pathans and Sikhs both have plenty in the lands they live in, not the Saudis. Less the oil, they have always been short of food and means of livelihood as hardly anything grew in their deserts. Their harsh unsupportive environment forced them to become highwaymen for hire, ferrying the trade goods of richer nations on the ends of the desert and beyond. Those who were not involved in running trade caravans were busy raiding the same. Their land bridge geographical location between productive Asia, Africa and Europe helped them to become exchange traders or midway transit men. Since they produced literally nothing but had to sell others’ goods, therefore they developed excellent linguistic skills, which is why Arabic is such an eloquent language.

Arabs are racial exclusivists and the Saudis, a degree more, arrogant too. However, Kuwaitis excel in both fields. This racist arrogance does not stem from any real world class achievement but their age old ability to ply one’s merchandise to the other at exorbitant rates, making the other believe that the deal was fair, employing a clever-merchant syndrome. The other reason has been the inelasticity of their bare bones social capsule, which was unable to absorb any external influence or people. Their mercantile ability was polished after the advent of Islam with a large dose of missionary zeal and truth on the pain of divine condemnation forever. However, a few centuries on, this zeal waned and skillful statecraft replaced the art of salesmanship. Both required nearly the same neuro transmissions.

I have been Director General (SPAFO) of Pakistan Armed Forces deputationists, mainly, doctors and engineers, to the Saudi Armed Forces from 1998 to 2002.This was one of the most privileged positions for a non-European/American military officer in the Kingdom. I used to sit in the Ministry of Defence sharing the floor with US, British and French military missions. Another unique privilege that I enjoyed was that I could move anywhere in the Kingdom without the indispensible written permission and saw them closely in both urban and rural landscapes. That regretfully shattered many a myth that we Muslims in the subcontinent carry almost as articles of faith, and along with that a part of my better self too. However, it was an invaluable education in reality and measurement of one’s worthiness or otherwise.

Within weeks, I realised that for a self-respecting person, it was nearly impossible to work honourably with those men. But for the call of duty to the fellow deputationists and mutuality between our two countries, I seriously considered repatriation. Hardly an occasion goes by without making an expatriate realise the tentative nature of his lower stature among these stiff-lipped, stuffy men. Our best, even a PhD in Space Sciences, weighs invariably less than a Saudi camel-herder from the Empty Quarter.

Saudi Arabia was almost the last to end slavery officially in 1974 yet by nature retain all the instincts of slave-running alive. The Iqama (work permit) is the principal instrument and is issued on behalf of the Saudi employer (Kafeel) for one year at a time. This is literally a dog collar that provides the Saudi master unlimited and rather coercive powers over the hapless expatriate. Regardless of innocence, merit, right to be heard and the number of years of hard work, one could be packed off and deported within hours. An expatriate has practically no legal stature, let alone the much talked about basic human rights. I know of a senior Pakistani banker who helped set up a renowned Saudi bank, rose to the position of vice-president and after 29 years was ordered out at a week’s notice, his invaluable service and lifetime of hard work notwithstanding. His fault? None except the sweet pleasure of his employer and the weapon, the guillotine of Iqama. Once your Iqama is withdrawn you are an immediate nonentity and must leave the country posthaste before they imprison you for an indefinite period. Moreover, one could see horrible exploitation of female expatriates by their masters, particularly that of Sri Lankans and Philippinas. Pathetic insensitivity that was.  (why you people keep coming here? reply I got from a close Saudi friend)

Peculiarly, Saudis have a cold and impersonal system of designating expatriates that they hire. Miskeen is a derisive phrase of pity and loathing that tends to massage their ego in a kind of perverted manner. It tends to be a device of superiority, distancing from the mass of toiling expatriate men and women working in the Saudi households, farms, factories, shops, hotels, offices and all places where an ordinary Saudi considers it below his dignity to work. The next lower phrase in their not so civil glossary is siddique, which very eloquently conveys: ‘You work for me but mind your place. No liberties to be taken.’ Siddique is a belittling way of directly addressing one out of innumerable expatriates already held as miskeen.

European and American expatriates are a different and far superior category. For them notions of pity are transformed into a view of admiration and longing. They are considered and addressed as rafique, meaning ‘dear friend’. Americans top this list, followed closely by the British and other Europeans, depending upon how much they can benefit materially. There are cogent reasons for this preferential treatment. Americans and Europeans negotiate their terms of reference very carefully and hard. They are better networked, bring in more lucrative business, have better work ethics and their parent governments are unrelenting should Saudis maltreat one of their citizens.

There is a third but unspoken class who are mentioned with a smile and a wink. These are fair-skinned Central Asians, Lebanese, and blonde-haired Syrians. They are neither miskeen nor rafique but have the privilege of being the pleasure mates of a superior sort but not equals. They have half an access to the privacies of Saudi households; some even married in. Late Rafique Hariri was a kinsman of the Saudi royal family.

In all this business of labelling who was who in the shoddy Saudi esteem, they missed the forest for the trees. They know but never acknowledge that all of the Kingdom’s infrastructure, services and amenities were built by expatriates from all over the world. Saudi oil money drew the best of the foreign societies into their service but tragically, they failed to absorb them into their own society. It was because they were unfortunately blind to the power of diversification, induction of new talent and ideas. Their genetic disability had been that want and scarcity of thousands of years had made their tribal society grow inwards with no scope or space for expansion and accommodation. The net result is that not only the Saudis floundered a once in centuries chance to enrich their country and society with a mix of talented foreign men and women but also have a huge rootless foreign mass in their midst that can go out of hand any moment. The consequences could be devastating. More about this some other time.

Planning for Ousting the Congress

The worst possible thing for the Indian nation has been the politics practiced by Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. It has been unprincipled, placing personal aggrandizement over national resurgence, and rooted in corruption. Today due to what I call as Nehruism, the nation is at the weakest. India’s adrenalin has almost been drained.

 

We mutely witness terrorist attack, ensure that there is no retaliation by us, and treat captured terrorist as State Guests. What recently happened in Pune and Kokrajhar should awaken any patriot. I met several “moderate” intellectuals who dismissed this huge affront to our sovereignty as of “low grade explosives in Pune” (the IEDs did not explode) or “ethnic clash in Kokrajhar” as if that is inevitable, or that the murder of innocent Sikhs in Wisconsin USA as Sikhs’ fault for having beards like Osama Bin Laden. Indians have been programmed by Nehruism to be bereft of patriotic feelings.

 

Today Ms. Sonia Edwidge Albina Antonia Maino Gandhi has destroyed the Prime Ministership by creating diarchy of the PMO and the NAC. Manmohan Singh and his Cabinet colleagues perform much like circus lions do before a ring master. This in my opinion is the most dangerous phase of our national history.

 

Question is what do we do? Patriots must force an early election; in any case 2014 is not far off. To me, committed to democracy, we must eschew stunts like fast unto death staged with ayurveda treated water. Indian democracy  survives because the broad masses are still with profound common sense as we saw in 1977.

 

General Election to the Lok Sabha is the only cure we have to get out this Nehruvian morass. As Jaiprakash Narayan told me in 1977, the existence of the organisational network of the RSS is still the bulwark on which we can base an assault against the Nehruvian skullduggery.

But coming to power is not enough if the next Prime Minister is a cheap imitation of Nehru or imbibed with Nehruism as we have seen in the past. Nehruism is capitulation for personal aggrandisement. We need a new style of politics now. Politics is the art of governance of an organised and civilised society. The rules of politics vary with the ideological foundation adopted by such a society. These rules therefore differ between democratic and authoritarian ideologies of governance. Hence the principles that guide politics will also depend on the ideology we adopt.

I advocate here today that politics with principles in India is possible only if each of us make an unshakeable commitment to a clear concept of the Indian identity.

 

Indian identity

 

My call today for protecting our democracy with its fundamental right to human freedoms is first and foremost for undiluted unity of Indians, a unity based on a mindset that is nurtured and fostered on the principles of human rights.

 

That will require for us Indians to be able to identify ourselves with this land, rivers, and our civilisational past of thousands of years. For this identity to flower, we need to commit to the following:

 

First, the definition of the identity of India:

 

India is Hindustan, a nation of Hindus and those others who proudly accept that their ancestors are Hindus. Muslims and Christians are a part of the Hindustan if they accept this truth and revere it. This means we then become inheritors of a long continuous and glorious civilisational history.

 

A rudderless India, disconnected from her past, as a consequence, becomes a fertile field for religious poachers and neo-imperialists from abroad who paint India as a mosaic of immigrants not as a nation but much like a crowd on a platform in a railway station.  India is connected to her hoary past because this India is a nation of Hindus and those others (such as Muslims and Christians) whose ancestors were Hindus. That definition applies to Jews and Parsis too because of inter-marriage and now proved by DNA testing.

 

It is this acknowledgement that remains pending today, which delays the unity of the nation on a historic identity based. We can accept Muslims and Christians as part of our cultural family when they proudly acknowledge this fact and accept that a change in religion does not require change of culture or values. Thus the cultural identity of India is undeniably, immutably, and obviously its Hinduness, that is rooted in Vedic values.

 

The concept of a collective Hindu mindset is being ridiculed as chauvinist and retrograde, even fundamentalist. The BJP is regularly advised by its enemies to purge out Hindutva from its poll plank to become more “acceptable”. This fatuous advice from enemies however deserves to be thrown into the dustbin where it belongs. There is nothing to debate in this because such a debate would only be dysfunctional and will disrupt the synergy between voter appeal and cadre morale that is necessary for electoral success of the patriotic forces.

 

Otherwise we may be numerous like goats and sheep but run helter skelter at the sight of just one tiger or hyena. Or we can be individually strong and well fed like circus lions, but obey the commands of a physically much weaker circus ring master. Hindu society today lacking a cohesive corporate identity, is thus in the process of becoming fragmented, and hence increasingly in disarray. This fission process is on simultaneously with the reality of millions of Hindus going to temples regularly.

 

We need today a mindset committed to retaliate when attacked. This defensive retaliation must be massive enough to deter future attacks. If terrorists come from training camps in Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka, India must seek to carpet bomb those training camps, no matter what the consequences. If 5 lakh Kashmiri Hindus are driven out of the Valley by Islamic terrorists, we must arm and financially equip 10 lakhs of the able-bodied ex-servicemen Hindus to go with their families and settle in the former residences of the driven-out Hindus to keep the Constitutional guarantee under Article 370 of not maintaining the religious composition of the state.

 

If Bangladesh permits its population to infiltrate into Hindustan, then India must demand territorial compensation within the meaning of the Indian Independence Act of June 1947 passed by the British Parliament to legitimise Partition. The Act was framed on the principle that Muslims not wanting to live under what Jinnah called as the ‘hegemony’ of the Hindus, be carved out of undivided India, called as Pakistan, in proportion to it. One-third of Bangladesh Muslims now, after six decades after Partition, have already infiltrated back into Hindustan to live under Hindu ‘hegemony’.

 

That basic strategy of those who want to see a weak and pliant India remains the same as before: Making Indians to lose their self esteem by disparaging their tradition– the strategy of British imperialists for the conquest of India. Only the tactics have changed.

At the same time, the lack of Hindu unity and the determined bloc voting in elections by Muslims and Christians has created a significantly large leverage for these two religious communities in economic, social and foreign policy making. Thus, although Uniform Civil Code is a Directive Principle of state policy in the Constitution, it is taboo to ask for it because of this leverage.

 

It is not as if Muslims will not accept uniform laws when it suits them, even if it is against the Sharia. For example, Muslims accept Uniform Criminal Code under the IPC in India even though it infringes the Sharia, but resist Uniform Civil Code because it violates the same Sharia. Muslims accept Uniform Civil Code in Australia and USA, and now Germany and Japan.

 

Hence, in a democracy fighting elections are very important part of the struggle for implementation of an agenda for national renaissance. For this it is necessary for formation of a bloc vote of all those who cherish the Sanatana Dharma values. In India even if half of the Hindu population decides to vote as a bloc in elections, a government will be formed by a two-thirds majority. Therein lies the salvation for us who cherish our ancient values and aspire for a national renaissance.

 

Towards this end, I would suggest in my individual capacity, that the next election be fought by the NDA by seat adjustments and not by ideological compromise. Of the six parties in the NDA, five accept the Hindutva formulation for national integrity and progress. The sixth can then have seat adjustments with the five, and join on a Common Governance Programme to form the government later.

 

But the five parties of the NDA should vigorously campaign in the next general elections to Parliament on two issues: Fighting corruption credibly, and espouse Hindutva for national integrity. Muslim and Christian voters should be wooed on promise of fairness, co-option and security and not on appeasement. The broad masses of these minorities ache for co-option and justice, but the Congress has always chosen to court the Mullahs, Bishops, and foreign controlled intellectuals in their communities. NDA must not follow the same route. In any case if half the Brihad Hindu voters can be aroused to vote together for the NDA, majority in Lok Sabha is certain. The masses of the minorities would join anyway then.

Muslim in India, Hyderabad, celebrated 65th Independence Day of Pakistan by hoisting Pakistani flag.

Pakistan 65th**Independence Day**celebration was organized by a community at Exhibition grounds today lead to tension in Hyderabad.

After knowing, celebrations would start with the Pakistani flag hoisting ceremony in Exhibition grounds, Nampally. Vishwa Hindu Parishad plunged into action to stop this flag**hosting. They said it is unethical to host our enemy**country flag.

The police immediately responded and took control of the situation, the whole Exhibition grounds, and dispersed the two groups.  Situation is under control.

No Action, No Inquiry, No Arrests – No Shame either.
