Western Cosmologist vs. Vedic Knowledge Discussion

Western Cosmologist vs. Vedic Knowledge Discussion

“(Famed cosmologist Dr Stephen) Hawking said, “We must continue to go into space for the future of humanity. I don’t think we will survive another thousand years without escaping our fragile planet.” – Source: Space.com

Skanda987’s Take:

Dr Hawkins is worried about future of humanity?  Are there not enough problems in this current world like terrorism, many characterless religious leaders, human trafficking, Islam’s jihad against the non-Muslims, corruption, slavery, etc. to work for humanity? Do they care for humanity or care to keep dominance over others?

According to the Vedas, humans will live on this plant for thousands of years as they have lived.

Suppose there is a way to escape to an earthlike planet when life becomes hellish here on earth, then who will go? The president of USA and his family, or a few grand children of this scientist will go? Who? How many persons can go? How many can afford to go? At whose expense they will go?

The ethics of a ship’s captain is that he/she will not leave the sinking ship till all lives are saved first. In contrast, when the earth becomes hellish due to industrial pollution, genetically modified foods, Islamic terrorists, corruption, wars, etc., then the top leaders of the superpowers will run away from the earth at the expense of the tax payers?

I request leaders to share their views please.
